Hellenic Air Force Lockheed F-104G Starfighter Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Hellenic Air Force Lockheed F-104G Starfighter, aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Widowmaker, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It; in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart, as nicknamed by the Canadians. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the Lockheed F-104G in the service of the Hellenic Air Force; with a total of 14 models and 54 repaints. I am also including some optional variants with separate manual install instructions. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

Raytheon CT-156 Harvard II NFTC AI Package Download

File Description:
The CT-156 Harvard II is used by the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) programme at 15 Wing, Canadian Forces Base Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Canada. The Raytheon CT-156 Harvard II and T-6 Texan II are developments of the Pilatus PC-9. No AI model of the Harvard II / Texan II exists but a fine AI model of the PC-9 is produced by David Friswell, Rob Nieuwenhoven, Mal Lloyd and the late Barry Magann for their RAAF AI package (see Readme file for details). For the purposes of AI flight plans, the PC-9 is a very acceptable stand-in for the Harvard II. Included in this package are the AI PC-9 model, airfile, aircraft.cfg and NFTC textures files for each of the 24 aircraft in Canadian service (serials 156101 through 156124). The PC-9 aircraft model is used by permission from David Friswell.

Riga Airport - EVRA - Latvia Download

File Description:
This scenery represents the main international gateway airport to Latvia. Riga is the home of airBaltic, RAF-Avia, Inversija, Lat Charter, Latpass, and is becoming involved in the low-cost destinations boom, with services by Ryanair already established and new services by Aer Lingus. The airport is also in talks with Easyjet regarding the possibility of services. For longer-haul, Uzbekistan stages a 767 through here to New York, and Israir operates a weekly 757 service to Tel Aviv. If you fancy flying an An-72 or IL-76 in FS9, you now have an airport to go with it. Gate numbers at the pier are accurate, gate numbering elsewhere is guesstimated; the airport has full night lighting. As with my Sharjah scenery (just receiving a minor upgrade) I have included a fair amount of off-airport detail. Please enjoy your stay in Latvia!

USAAF PT-17 Stearman (N38940) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint only, for the payware Vertigo Studios Stearman Vol.1 set. This repaint depicts the restored Stearman PT-17 N38940, owned/operated by Paul Bennett, based at Priory Farm, Norfolk, England. The aircraft was manufactured as USAAF 41-8263, and from 1941 until February 1944 the aircraft was used continually, despite being involved in 4 separate training accidents, with a 5th accident taking it out of service althogether. The remains of the aircraft were restored, with the aircraft first flying again in 1977, and later, sold to Paul Bennett in 1992, the aircraft was restored again, to factory-original award-winning condition and finished in the same all-silver color scheme it would have had in 1944. The contrast between the metal and fabric surfaces on this aircraft is period-authentic, as although the fabric surfaces were coated in silver dope, the metal panels were anodized and left bare. Two versions of the repaint are included, with one featuring the temporary 445th Bomb Group tail markings the aircraft sported in 2006.

RAF Dalton Download

File Description:
RAF Dalton was named after a local village although it was closer to RAF Topcliffe who it was intended to be the satellite for. RAF Dalton was home to No. 102 Squadron beginning in November 1941. No. 102 Squadron returned to Topcliffe in June 1942 and for a time Dalton hosted No. 1652 Heavy Conversion Unit (HCU) flying Halifaxes. The airfield was improved in 1942 and in early 1943 was allocated to No. 6 Group Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). Canadian squadrons stationed here at one time or another included No. 428 Squadron, No. 424 Squadron, No. 420 Squadron, and No. 1666 Heavy Conversion Unit (which moved to RAF Wombleton in October 1943). The station also housed no. 1691 Bomber Gunnery Flight (BGF) RCAF and its successor, No. 1695 Bomber Defence Training Flight (BDTF) RCAF, the last RCAF unit to serve at this station. In November 1944, control passed from No. 6 Group to the new No. 7 (Training) Group. By August 1945 all units at Dalton were disbanded or transferred and the Station closed in 1946. North American F-86 "Minute Men" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Carenado Milviz F-86, in the colors of the aircraft of the Minute Men, the Colorado Air National Guard demonstration team. The team existed unofficially from 1953 to 1956, flying Lockheed F-80Cs. Members of the Colorado Air National Guard's Minute Men put on aerial shows in their F-86s beginning in 1954, and from 1956 until 1959, they served as the National Guard Bureaus official aerial demonstration team representing all ANG units. The "Minute Men" performed in 47 U.S. states, as well as the territories of Hawaii and Alaska, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatamala City, Mexico City, and Kingston (Jamaica). In 1959 it was disbanded out of budgetary reasons. I have included four different aircraft in this folder that flew with the Minute Men, all F-86F-2 cannon armed aircraft that were used for gunval evaluations in Korea. The cannons were removed for the team. The included aircraft are #51-2826, #51-2867 (with a slightly different paintjob), #51-2868 and #51-2900. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.

CYQR Regina (Regina International Airport and Roland Groome Field) Version 2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Regina International Airport can trace its history back to 1919, when Regina airport became the first registered air harbour in Canada. This virtual model of CYQR represents the airport as it was in spring of 2007. CYQR airport is the gateway to southern Saskatchewan, Canada and is situationed in Regina, which is the provincial capital. The airport is served by Air Canada, Air Canada JAZZ, Westjet, West Wind, Express Air, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines. The airport is named for Roland Groome, who was the first registered pilot in Canada.

This scenery is a re-upload of version 2 of the scenery, which was lost in the AVSIM hack. Nothing has changed.

This scenery was constructed using GMAX and includes nearly every airport and commercial building on the airport property. Beyond the airport itself this scenery also includes, as an option, the major landmark buildings in the city of Regina proper and those on the runway approaches. Regina City buildings are meant to enhance the realism of virtual flying in the Regina area.

EKKL-Kalundborg Airport X VFR Photo Scenery Download

File Description:
Kalundborg Airport – named Kaldred is a small regional field in a comfortable distance from my other FOTOREAL airport EKRK-Copenhagen Airport Roskilde. In the period 1964-76, airfield operations was yearly 15.000-20.000, and in 1976 the heavier aircrafts with retractable gear made it necessary to change the Runway surface from grass to asphalt. In 1981, the closure of Skovlunde Airfield in the Greater Copenhagen Area moved traffic to other locations like EKRK-Roskilde, and investments was made to improve service and facilities at EKKL to attract new customers, being a the perfect hub for aircraft operations to many of the small Danish islands. For many years post and News papers were daily transported by road from print in Copenhagen to Kaldred and flown to EKSS-Samsø (my last released airport). Today six Air companies reside in Kaldred, together with Kalundborg Flyveklub. Visit Kaldred, and be sure you will get a warm welcome, and as they say in Kalundborg Flying Club, there are always coffee in the clubhouse. Included in the zip file is a version for Ultimate Terrain Europe and Dan-Vfr plus the Default scenery. Enjoy.
