| Albany, New York Bridge Fix for default FS2004 scenery. |
|
File Description:
Albany, New York Bridge Fix. While flying around the Albany, NY area the other day, I came across a bridge "mess" which you can see in Screenshot 1. It looks as if several bridges collapsed at the same location. This package provides two files; one which will exclude the "mess" and another one which provides a new, default bridge at that location. Note: The bridge problem is seen only in the default FS2004 scenery - if you are using Ultimate Terrain, you do not need this correction. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions. Compiled for your flying (and driving) enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

| X2AD - RAF Aston Down - Gloucestershire, England |
|
File Description:
Former RAF Aston Down (IACO X2AD) is located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east of Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, South West England and 6.9 miles (11.1 km) west of Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
The airfield was originally opened as RAF Minchinhampton and was first used in the First World War, serving as an aerodrome for the Australian Flying Corps with No. 2 Squadron AFC flying the Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a and the Sopwith Pup and No. 3 Squadron AFC flying the Avro 504. The airfield closed shortly afterwards.
In 1938 the airfield reopened under the new name of RAF Aston Down at the request of the residents of Minchinhampton village, which lies about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the west of the airfield, who feared not enemy attack, but a fall in the value of their houses.
During the Second World War the main unit present was No. 20 Maintenance Unit RAF (MU) which stored and prepared aircraft. The unit arrived during October 1938 and left in September 1960.
The airfield was used by the Royal Air Force from the First World War until 1967 when the Cotswold Gliding Club moved in from their previous base near Tetbury.

| Zimbabwe Express Airlines 1998 |
|
File Description:
Zimbabwe Express was a short lived airline that was founded in 1997 when Air Zimbabwe had drastically scaled back domestic flights and filled in the gap. In 1998, the carrier was operating a 727-100 and a DC-9-30 that wore "Business Express" titles on one side and Zimbabwe Express titles on the other. The 727 was actually based in JNB and spends most of it's ground time there, while the DC-9 sits around HRE when it isn't flying. Around this time, Air Zimbabwe's Bae-146 was leased to Zimbabwe Express, though in my copy of the OAG, the Bae-146 was flying for Air Zimbabwe so it will not be included here. Includes repaints for the AIA 727-100 and the AIG DC-9-30.

| EVA Air 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
EVA was growing quickly in 1998, focusing on international routes and leaving most of the domestic flying to its subsidiary, Uni Air. The MD-90s were very quickly transferred to Uni Air by late 1998, so these plans represent a rare time with a pair of MD-90s in the old EVA Air colors. EVA had amassed a decent fleet of 747s by 1998 and was even flying a KHH-LAX route several times weekly. Most MD-11s were already flying for EVA Cargo, and the 3 pax MD-11s remaining had the "ANK EVA" partnership logo. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 767-200, 767-300, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and AIA MD-90 included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project.
