File Description:
Textures for Navy aircraft 147858 used by NASA's Dryden Flight Test Facility in December1962. The Center flew the aircraft to determine the let-down and approach conditions of a supersonic transport flying into a dense air traffic network. It was returned to the US Navy in December 1963. Original aircraft required from Alphasim.

Repaint of Greg Pepper/Tom Gibson's gmax Douglas DC-7 SevenSea in Pan Am theme in 1960s. N744PA was named Clipper Pacific Trader. DC7 was the last prop airliner from Douglas. Panel Icon for use with Airport Chart Viewer Program - with an illustrated installation guide. This package provides a panel icon for use with the fine program by Holger Maass - apchart.zip. Because it is listed in the FSX category here in the library, many may not be aware the program works well in FS2004 also. I have created this panel icon to easily invoke the Chart Viewer while flying. No programming knowledge is required. The icon can be added to vitually any panel and setups for the default Beech Baron 58 and B737-400 are included. Please unzip this package to a temporary folder and follow the instructions. The guide has been compiled in .DOC and .PDF formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Representative scenery of RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire.
RAF Little Rissington (ICAO: EGVL) is an RAF aerodrome and former RAF station in Gloucestershire, England. It was once home to the Central Flying School, the Vintage Pair and the Red Arrows.
Built during the 1930s, the station was opened in 1938 and closed in 1994. The married-quarters and main technical site were sold in 1996 (the former becoming the village of Upper Rissington), but the aerodrome has been retained by the Ministry of Defence and remains active along with the southern technical sites, under the operational control of No.2 Flying Training School at RAFC Cranwell.
It is now home to 637 Volunteer Gliding Squadron as the primary military unit, who provide elementary flying training for Combined Cadet Force and Air Training Corps cadets. The airfield is also used by the forces as a relief landing ground, training area and parachute dropping area. In previous years, the Royal Air Force estate has been used as a film set, including The Avengers, part of the ice chase in Die Another Day, and the Thunderbirds film.

This scenery package contains twelve airports in Germany, nine in the Netherlands, one in Luxembourg, three in Switzerland , and three in Austria - providing taxiways and details as they were at the beginning of the 1960's.
We also created the harbors of Rotterdam, Hamburg and Den Helder, all the lighthouses along the Dutch coast and some along the German coast, and created the island of Helgoland from scratch. Although most of the airports of the package are for civil use, we also produced some Dutch military bases with AI and static aircraft. At many of the airports you will find moving crash tenders and at Amsterdam moving airport buses. Although we did not always have enough photos and information we tried to come as close as possible. Our goal was to reflect something of the atmosphere and feel of that period, prior to the all-jet era of today.
