100% accurate scheduled flightplans for the winter 2005-2006 period, which have been compiled according to the company website, and cross-checked with Amadeus database. Air Greenland is based at Nuuk (Godthaab) airport and operates one Airbus A330-223, one Boeing 757-236, seven DeHavilland 'Dash 7' as well as some helicopters services (not included in this file). The fixed-wing aircraft network includes the following destinations: Aasiaat, Copenhagen-Kastrup, Ilulissat, Kangerlussuaq (Sondre Stromfjord), Kulusuk, Maniitsoq, Narsarsuaq, Nuuk (Godthaab), Qaanaaq, Sisimiut, Upernavik, and Uummannaq. | Douglas A-20C Boston Dutch Naval Air Service |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-20C by Milton Shupe and his team. It shows Douglas DB7 Boston D52 of the Royal Dutch East Indies Navy, Andir, 6 March 1942. In december 1941, the Dutch government ordered 32 Douglas Boostons for the defence of the Dutch Indies after the outbreak of war in the Pacific. These aircraft were destined for the MLD, or Dutch Naval Air Service. The aircraft were painted in RAF camouflage colors and received Dutch orange triangles on the fuselage and the underside of the wings, together with a serial consisting of a D with a number and the text KON.MARINE on the nose. The aircraft were crated and shipped to the Dutch East Indies, with the first six arriving in Java on the 27th of February 1942, just a day before the Japanese landings in Java. The crates were unloaded in Tjilatjap. It was decided to try and assemble a few aircraft on the spot, in the harbor of Tjilatjap, while three crates were sent to Andir by train. Despite Japanese bombing raids on the harbor, the MLD technicians managed to assemble two Bostons in the harbor, and on the morning of the 5th of March, Lt Burgerhout, a Catalina pilot, took of from an improvised runway withh D52 and flew to Tasikmalaja, where it was planned to fill the aircraft with fuel for the flight to Andir air base. However, no suitable fuel was found. Before the second Boston could be flown out, the 'runway' was destroyed by a second Japanese bomb raid, so the ground crew destroyed the aircraft. The aircraft at Tasikmalaja was destroyed on the 8th of Mmarch, just before the capitulation of the Dutch East Indies. Of the aircraft transported by train, one was assembled, and this fell intact into the hands of the Japanese, who later used it for flight evaluations. The other two aircraft were destroyed by their ground crews. The other 26 Bostons still underway were diverted to Australia, and these later flew with no 22 squadron of the RAAF. Dehavilland Dash8-102. A 37 seat advanced turboprop regional airliner. Air Canada JAZZ Reg_ID: C-GABI. This is the default MS Dash8 modified and remapped in Gmax for proper texture orientation and includes a new Flight Model, HTML Check / Ref lists and new Master Textures with reflections and new night mapping. Should work in FS2002 Pro also. We at PAD were disappointed at seeing nice repaints of the default Dash8 repainted with only one good full texture side. That is now history.

These files provide aprons, add parking to those airports without any, extend runways where possible, add night lighting and provide tower views if needed. Airports covered are NTAR, NTAT, NTAV (new airport), NTGA, NTGB, NTGC, NTGD, NTGE, NTGF, NTGH, NTGI, NTGJ, NTGK, NTGM, NTGN, NTGO, NTGP, NTGQ, NTGR, NTGT, NTGU, NTGV, NTGW, NTGY, NTHE, NTKA, NTKF, NTKH, NTKM, NTKR, NTKT, NTMD, NTMN, NTMP, NTMU, NTTG, NTTO, NTTX, NTUV. A modification/addon for the Fanda Dash 8 1.004b
-Enlarge virtually all the panel gauges and windows to make them easier to read and work with.
-Stopped the secondary windows from opening on startup.
-Added Sidney Schwartz's panel hot spots. Look at the enclosed gif file to see where they are.
-Added panel sideviews by Dan Port.
In short, I've tweaked what others have done and included it all in one package for you. Also enclosed is a weight and balance calculator for the Dash8. This is NOT a load manager (there is one of those included with V1.004b of the aircraft). It's a handy little tool for flight planning...

I wrote that Qikiqtarjuaq, on the east coast of Baffin Island, was the jumping off airfield for ferry flights for small planes from Canada to Europe via Greenland. Aasiaat is the airfield in Greenland that they jump to, 300 miles across the Davis Strait. The airfield is on the northern coast of Aasiaat Island, and the town of the same name is just two miles to the west. The runway is 2,600 feet of asphalt almost 100 feet wide and lit, at 74 feet ASL, aligned 12/30, with the apron and terminal building at the western end. Air Greenland run regular flights with a Dash-7 or 8, & Twin Otters, and the markings for the taxiway and parking spot in front of the terminal are exactly as they were six years ago. I have seen video since then that has further taxiway and parking spot markings added in, but I like the simplicity of the original. Unfortunately, given the limitations of FS and the single runway and simple taxiway routing there was no way to replicate both the parking facing away from the terminal AND the "through" taxiing to complete the circle back to the runway; after parking correctly the AI Air Greenland Dash-8 will reverse before heading out to take off. There is both JetA and 100LL fuel available. The surrounding area is rocky, and there is no grass around the runway; the airfield has compacted gravel instead.

File Description:
One of several Naval Outlying Landing Fields (NOLF's) in the Pensacola area, Choctaw NOLF is currently the only NOLF capable of supporting the newest US Navy primary training aircraft, the T-6B Texan II. Choctaw NOLF is located in Milton, FL just 13nm South of NAS Whiting Field. Designed for FSX, Choctaw NOLF features working IFLOLS trailers designed by Sylvain Parouty. The trailers have a functioning "meatball" to help with Field Carrier Landing Practice. Buildings and other objects were placed using default FSX objects as well as a couple of add-on libraries. You will need rwy_mark.zip by Lance Tucker and fsx_lts.zip by Jim Dhaenens. Both files are available at flightsim.com. View the readme file for more info and acknowledgments. The goal of this scenery is the same as in the real world...to provide a secondary landing field for Virtual Student Naval Aviators to practice pattern work, touch and go's, and Carrier Landing Practice. It's a great place for your FSX T-6A or T-34C!
