Repost of St Jovite CSZ3 in Quebec Canada

File Description:
This post is to get rid of an elevation problem I just noticed, and also to supply the revised AFCAD file.
St Jovite is a grass strip in Quebec near the town of St Jovite and Mont Tremblant tourist area. This version is intended for use with Ultimate Terrain, and I made it because I found that the original FS version and the one made by Leon Louis both clashed with Lac Ouimet, and with the float base scenery I had made there. There is no fuel or oil or maintenance available, but the grass runway is in excellent condition. I made one of my first trips from Rockcliffe to St Jovite, and found it a great destination. You probably need Ultimate Terrain for this to work, but it might work without.

Beaver Engine Panel for FIP v2

File Description: For Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel. This is folder contains a second version of the engine panel, digital type, for De Haviland Beaver DHC2. After some comments I added a water rudder warning light which light up in blue when the water rudder is unlocked and in down position. If you already use the Beaver FIP, I recommend to overwrite the previous needles by those coming with this version and which are updated. The package includes a serie of colored needles that can be changed easily, just replace the default needle by the one of your choice. Beaver_engine_v2.xml provides: Manifold pressure, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fuel flow, Oil temperature, Oil pressure, Propeller RPM, Fuel quantity for center tanks 1, 2 and 3, Flaps position, Pitch, Rudder and Aileron trims, Water rudder warning light.

California Central Coast Scenery with Ultimate Terrain USA

File Description:
This is a complete revision to California Central Coast Scenery CCCOASTU.ZIP that was uploaded 9/13/05. This revision involves most of the files and replaces CCCOASTU.ZIP in it's entirety so the original version of CCCOASTU and it's Revisions 1 and 2 or any other versions of my CCC scenery are NOT required.

The primary goal for this revision was to replace as many API objects and effects as possible with XML/MDL library objects. The original intent for making these conversions was to begin to prepare for the FSX version of CCC scenery if that becomes practical. Because I also made several improvements and fixes during that process and because performance was improved due to use of object libraries I realized it might be appropriate to upload the results as a revision.

Default AI General Aviation V2

File Description:
These files are the default AI flight plans for all the general aviation flights as delivered in Flight Simulator 2004. They have been separated by aircraft and sorted by departure region/country. These flightplans may be used as a basis for more realistic GA traffic. From replacing the tail numbers with realistic regionally accurate numbers to completely replacing the default flights with more realistic AI GA traffic on a regional basis. These files will also make it easier to shift GA traffic out of major commercial hub airports (so you won't be running over a Cessna 172 while on final approach into JFK any more). This second version is to correct the Beech King Air 350 (AC#2). In the first version all the flight plans had somehow been doubled in the file.

Douglas C-47 (VH-BAA) Brain & Brown

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A VH- BAA of Brain & Brown. C-47-20-DK c/n 13084 42-93199 flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL, EBH and EBW. It went to Brain & Brown in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Cenbtral Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description: This folder contains repaints for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of 4 aircraft of the 442nd TCG, based in airfield B24 St Andre de l'Eure in March 1945. Included are C-47A-15-DK 42-92879 J7-T of the 303th TCS, C-47A-20-DK 42-93717 V4-F "Carolina Queen" of the 304th TCS, C-47A-80-DL 43-15064 4J-O "Lady Beth" of the 305th TCS and C-53D-DO 42-68840 7H-P "Precious Cargo" of the 306th TCS. Due to the lack of adequate photo material of 442nd aircraft, I have been creative with some of these paints. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Smoke Jumpers FX

File Description:
Now you can shuttle smoke-jumpers to that hard-to-get-to forest fire. These FX files allow you to drop a number of orange-clad firefighters from the DC-3, JU-52, or DeHaviland Otter. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. File Description:
FS98 Val-U-Prop Douglas DC-4 Plane and Panel The FS98 version of this package differs only from the FS2002 version in that it does not contain wing, side and cabin views. Also, a couple of gauges have been changed, including the addition of ACS-GPS (not included). Everything is on the main panel (except GPS) so no tabbing, and the aircraft has excellent flight dynamics by Brian Horsey. The panel is based upon the photographs of Bill Blanchard (main) and Mike of AirNikon (throttles). Aircraft has landing lights and is a fine addition to the Val-U-Prop fleet. This package will take you back to a time when pilots really flew, and the pace was leisurely. From originals by Tom Gibson, Harry Follas and Brian Horsey. By James Underwood

Grumman Widgeon VC radial engines

File Description:
A very rare version of a Radial Widgeon. 450hp P&W R-985 engines gives solid performance on a rather light aircraft. VC has night lighting and custom XML gauges, a switch to move the yoke out of the way, rain effects, and much more. Exterior model weighs in at just under 18,000 polys. Clean mesh and tight texture maps allows this high detail model to run very smooth. Engine temperature management is required to prevent overheating, dont forget the cowl flaps! Airfiles are scratch built, and meet the few numbers I could find for this rare version of the Widgeon. Custom sounds, big and beefy... but a good custom set would replace it. Many hours into this project, I hope you enjoy it so far. Happy flyin!
