Kremmling, Mc Elroy (20V), Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
Ever wanted to know how the scenery looks like around Kremmling VOR? Now you got the chance! This region covers the area around Kremmling and the northern part of the Gore Range. At Kremmling the Colorado River meets both the Blue River and the Muddy Creek. West of Kremmling you can see Gore Canyon. This rugged and steep canyon is almost 1000ft deep and was carved by the Colorado River on its way thru the Gore Range.
To explore the scenery depart from Mc Elroy Airfield (20V) in Kremmling and head north. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_West.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. Thanks to Joop Mak for providing custom AFCADs that correct airport layouts so that they align with the photo-textures! They are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/AFCADs.html . Indira Gandhi International Airport (Performance) for both FSX and FS2004
The Scenery has been developed for Extreme frame rate loving/oriented Users, Friends ,who will never compromise performance in exchange of Aesthetics,('why?' is 'many'& beyond the scope of 'File description'). It does not have 3D twy edge/ctr/appr lts and other contents that are usually in my scenery like 3D grass, etc.... The AFCAD/AFX (as they call it) file has been worked to give equal/strict c/c distance. ( oh!.......... i mean center to center distance btwn lts ) avoiding all possible clutter(s) that are usually seen at twy Junctions. Basic Attraction is performance + terminal structures, interior as well as exterior. 'Click' and find out if it's worth at all.( by the way high intense graphics users using re-uploaded VIDP scenery, can surely have choice to suit their moods.....yes! i know what i just typed. (Contact me if you wish to use both sceneries at one time,....... one from here & two from there & so on.. )

DX10 Shader Fixes V3.2.3. These are a set of shader fixes for DX10 Preview mode in FSX. The patch should not effect DX9 in any way. It addresses the following bugs in the DX10 preview:
1) Flashing runways/taxiways
2) Yellow/white runway markings transparency
3) Opaque chain fences
4) Progressive Taxi markings missing
5) Missing night scenery/semi-transparent dusk scenery (often misdescribed as missing night textures)
6) Some addon cars with black headlights
7) Softer VC shadow
8) Eliminates false sun on VC roof and side wall
9) ORBX FTX Global lights with black background rectangles fixed
Also included are an optional replacement water shade, aircraft lights package and an optional replacement background texture. This can replace the light blue DX10 uses and is close to what DX9 uses in the same circumstances.
With Steve Parson's permission I have updated the shader_release_v3.2.2 patch to shader_release_v3.2.3 to now include a fix for DX10 ORBX FTX Global Lights.

Udine Friuli Venezia Giulia Italy N46.3.85 E13.14.19. The city is located in the center of the Friuli region. It is just over 20 km from Slovenia and about 54 km from Austria. This puts it in a strategic position, at the intersection of the East-West European Corridors (Corridor V or Mediterranean) and North-South (Via Iulia Augusta, now recognized by the European Union as part of the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor) , on the way to Austria and to Eastern Europe. It rises in the high plains, around an isolated hill (according to the legend built by Attila to admire the fire that he himself caused to the city of Aquileia, but in reality is formed by conglomeratic rocks more than 100,000 years old), on top of which the castle is located, a few kilometers from the hilly belt, and is bordered by the Cormor torrent to the west and the Torre torrent to the east. Important VFR point for approaching airport Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari (LIPQ) and airporto Udine Boscomantico (LIPD).

Chilko Lake and Scum Lake are both on the eastern side of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Chilko Lake CAG3 is around 30 miles south of Puntzi Mountain and at the northern end of the lake, serving Tsylos Park Lodge, which caters for trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing etc. The runway is 3,200 feet of gravel aligned 18-36 and unlit, at 3,850 feet ASL (above sea level). Scum Lake is around 30 miles southeast of Puntzi Mountain and 25 miles northeast of Chilko Lake. Don't ask me about the name. The airstrip appears to serve a small village and is noted as "private", so perhaps also a lodge operation. The runway is 3,500 feet of gravel aligned 03-21, unlit and at 3,921 feet ASL. I have posted these as a separate scenery, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields" and avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Plus that way you will have just one FS9 library post to do and new airfields will not need yet another posting. | Frozen & Landable Lakes & Rivers for All Canada Winter Ski Operations |

This "freezes" ALL Canadian lakes and rivers for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels. This edition covers all of Canada plus parts of the USA along the border, including Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the inlets along the coast do not get frozen too, and also some of the lakes that are close to the coast and rarely get cold enough to freeze over. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but this would be difficult to replicate convincingly. This is really for use with Ultimate Terrain, though it will work without it. The pics show Rockcliffe in the winter with the frozen Ottawa River for real and in FS for comparison; without UT the river would not be in the right place.

Expanded Taxiway "A" all the way to Runway 7 (which was paved in back in 1999, I do not know how ACES/Microsoft missed this...)

Added appropriate runway markings per real life
Added appropriate VASI and runway lighting systems per real life
Fixed the taxiway width and adjusted it to proper coordinates
Added 24 parking spots!
Moved Tower Viewpoint to FBO location
Increased traffic scalar from 0.70 to 1.00
Added AWOS frequency and adjusted the names of the UNICOM/CTAF
Changed apron texture from Asphalt to Concrete and added sections of temp resurfacing (all appropriate to RL airport)

Attawapiskat is on the north bank of the river of the same name, around 7 miles upstream from where the river meets the west shore of James Bay at its mid point. The top end of the Bay is around 140 miles north, Moosonee is around the same to the south, and the east shore 140 miles to the east. The town has a population of around 1,600, although this varies with the seasons as hunting and the traditional way of life on the land is still important to the Cree-speaking inhabitants. The airport is just to the north of the town with a gravel runway almost 3,500 feet long, and I have included the recently installed PAPI. The Canada Flight Supplement does not say anything about fuel being available so I presume the tanks beside the apron are no longer in use. There is also no apron lighting, unless it has been installed recently. There are flights by Air Creebec and by several other smaller airlines and I have included both Air Creebec and Wasaya; their textures are available for download and the planes are as listed in the AI folder.

This is a performance upgrade package for the payware Aerosoft F-16 (NOT the version available through Steam!). Aerosoft made an awesome-looking airplane with realistic cockpit details, cool g-vapor effects, but the way it flew was...well, not so great...until NOW. With this "VIPER 2.0" upgrade, your Aerosoft F-16 will fly like the REAL THING! 9g turns, 8-Point Rolls, Double Immelmans, Cuban-8's, etc, etc, etc. Cue up your favorite F-16 demo on YouTube and follow along! Or, head out to your favorite mountain region and enjoy zooming through the canyons at 500 feet and 500kts! (the Alps north of Aviano AB are awesome fun!). After this upgrade your Aerosoft F-16 will be one fun-to-fly flight sim jet!
**For those of you who downloaded and installed my first "VIPER Upgrade" about two years ago, the improvements in this version are...
Adjusted Rudder/Nose Wheel steering sensitivity for a softer, more realistic "feel" while taxiing & flying.
Ailerons have a "smoother/softer touch" for those tiny adjustments made on final approach
Adjusted drag factors on spoilers, flaps and gear to get optimal final approach AOA, airspeed and better "throttle authority".
