Tips and Tricks - II

File Description:
Tips and Tricks II. The original Tips and Tricks was so well received that I have compiled a new collection of tips and tricks for FS2004 that work well on my modest FS2004 setup. These may or may not work for you but you may wish to give them a try. This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across. This collection includes a Very Special Tip that I am sure all FS2004 users will find useful. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats.

NZAA Afcad2 V3 - "Auckland 2005" - Ai Traffic

File Description:
AFCAD2 for Auckland International Airport (NZAA) V3! AI AIRCRAFT!!! for use with the auckland2005.zip scenery which uses Shayne Butler's FS2002 airport (Scenery Not Included). This file is an update of my previous AFCAD for the airport (nzaa_v*_akl2005.zip) and is now built for addon AI Aircraft. This file includes accurate Gate and Parking Positions,and ~95% accuracy in airline parkings. Taxiways realigned, hard stands redone, aprons all over revised, revamped GA area so the fence isnt in the way, lighting changes, and just an overall improvement and as close to real life as the scenery permits!!!

Delco Carousel IV-A for Captain Sim 707. Here's a quick and easy way for you to install an authentic triple INS configuration to your Captain Sim 707 aircraft! NOTE: you *must* download and install the Delco Carousel IV-A gauges first. They come with an easy installer, get them here: http://www.simufly.com. This package will modify all different panel variants of both the cargo and passenger version. All gauges are correctly placed in the virtual cockpit and a custom panel window has been added displaying the new, modified center pedestal with radar, transponder, ADF radios and three CDUs.

Arnold Ranch (8Q9) Fresno, California. Scenery

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Arnold Ranch (8Q9) (37CN Real World code) Fresno, California. Number ten in the series. As the strip has just a small concrete pad and a hanger at one end, there is not much in the way of scenery. The default landclass is all to pot and has most of the area as some kind of scrubland instead of the agricutural land google shows it to be. A small town to the west is misplaced, plus some workings to the south. This update addresses the landclass faults to some extent as well as the airstrip.

C-130H3, 50th Airlift Squadron (92-0550) ***UPDATE(#1)***

File Description:
Captain Sim's Legendary C-130. Repaint includes livery for 50th Airlift Squadron, 463rd Airlift Group tail #92-0550. It includes the appropriate markings and H3 square paratroop door windows but still includes HF antennas. I wasn't able to include the APU, H3 avionics or 92-0550's recent upgrade to LAIRCM. It's not quite an H3 but the external paint-scheme is accurate. ***UPDATE(#1)***Added: H3 Rt/Lt Fwd Escape Hatches; corrected serial number/unit from "0550/463rd AG" to "0550/463 AG"; repainted AMC symbol. Still need to find a way to add MWS & LAIRCM.

CCM Airlines Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR 72-200

File Description:
CCM Airlines ATR 72-200 REG/F-GKPH. CCM Airlines operates regional french destinations from Corsica to Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse airports with this aircraft. Former livery of Compagnie Corse Méditerranée, applied on ATR72-200 only. This is also a semi-fictional repaint, none of the brand new ATR72-500 being painted this way. This texture is provided for FREE, and is intended for licensed users of Flight One Software ATR 72-500 aircraft. This texture must be processed using the included utility "Text-o-Matic" in order to create a new aircraft with this livery on it.

Curtiss H-75A-1 Hawk "The Fighter Collection"

File Description:
This is a texture only for the Donationware FDG2 Curtiss P-36A. This texture is in the markings of "The Fighter Collection's" Curtiss Hawk, which was shipped to the French Air Force in April 1939 and was issued to GC 11/5 at Reims. Thereafter it was based at Toul during the battle of France and then made its way to Oran, Algeria before the Armistice. Today this is the only remaining Curtiss Hawk, that is in flying condition. It is painted in the same markings it wore, while with GC 11/5, in the begining of WWII.

Paulistana Embraer ERJ-145LR Config File Fix

File Description:
This is a new readme file, with corrected installation instructions. The previous instructions on how to install the model would not let you "see" both models correctly within MSFS2004. These new instructions contain the correct way to change your FeelThere ERJ-145LR aircraft.cfg, so you can actually see both planes within MSFS. Este é um novo arquivo leiame, com as instruções de instalação corretas. As instruções anteriores não permitiam enxergar o avião no menu do MSFS2004. Fields Air Charter Bell 407

File Description:
Textures only for the Gmax Bell 407 (Low skid) by Alan Devins and Rory Kelly. This is a repaint in the colors of Fields Air Charter, based on the novels by Dennis Powell. The 407 is owned and operated by Charlie Fields, of Fields Air Charter based out of Pacific City Oregon, (KPFC) Zip file contains textures only, original model by Alan Devins and Rory Kelly required. (note, the registration number will be a bit off because of the way the repaint kit works. I've gotten them as close as I could. Thanks for your patience.)

Imperial Airways - Cairo to Cape Town - South Africa Service, 1932

File Description:
Our journey commences in May 1932 at Embaba airport (Cairo) and the Flight Simulator flight-plan shows the route all the way to Cape Town. You will, of course, pause for refuelling and overnight stops during this 7-day epic from the top of Africa to the very southern tip of the continent. Imperial Airways operated the Handley Page HP42 between Cairo and Nairobi and the Armstrong Whitworth AW15 "Atalanta" for the second half of the journey. The flight has been saved with the Flight Simulator 2004 default Cessna 172 to enable a trouble-free commencement.
