In Italy the poltical situation is very caotic! what is better of an exotic place for a time of relax? :-) With this scenery, I wanted to recreate as much as possible the area of the airport "Fascene" located in Nosy Be Island in Madagascar. To do it, i used the srtm mesh Madagsacar by Mr Jean laurent gabriel that you will find already in the scenery. If you have already installed these meshes need to remove them. The scenery, faithfully recreates the terminal, and therefore there is a generic airport using the Bgl Mr. Visan. for the rest, using the real video and real photo, I tried to recreate the atmosphere of the island, which is certainly very exciting to work with a landing jetliner. If so you're tired of the usual ILS landing in mega hub of Europe, a nice Visual land in Nosy Be, is for you!

Newly revised for Ground2K version 4
Ground2K version 4 by Christian Fumey is a very easy to use design tool for Flight Simulator terrain scenery. With it, you can create and modify coasts, roads, rivers, lakes, islands, land and water class, altitude mesh, and textured ground polygons.
This short user guide is meant for beginners, and presents some basic concepts concerning Flight Simulator terrain, and a step-by-step explanation of some of the principal functions of Ground2K.
No technical terms are used here, for ease of comprehension.
An HTML document for universal compatibility.
New sections include:
- expanded coverage of basic concepts and functions;
- common problems and errors with solutions;

Exploring Our World - Part 1. Canaima Park - Canaima Airport (SCVN) - Angel Falls, Venezuela. Visit the worlds highest waterfall (16 times higher than Niagara) - one of the Natural Wonders of the World!
This new package features David Maldonado's excellent Mesh of Canaima Park in Venezuela and a very special "animated" depiction of Angel Falls by Ron Jeffers. The Canaima Airport has been enhanced using EZ Scenery libraries. There is also an optional Lago sound file created by Lou Frost. A brief history of Angel Falls along with a suggested tour of the area is included. You will also find a flight plan for use with the FSNavigator program. This is the first of a projected series exploring lesser known parts of our FS world. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the instructions very carefully.
This project was compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Jake, the Bold Airport (Alaska) manager just got a CB call from Bill Bunyan, master sasquatch tracker. Bill has hurt his right ankle quite seriously, and needs to by picked up by someone with a ski-equipped airplane. Your Maule is just such a plane. Bill isn't quite sure exactly where he is, but does know he's not too far from Bold Ridge. So you have one waypoint to work with. After that it's up to you. To help, Bill is burning a campfire. He says it's fairly flat at his location, but to watch out for bushes, small trees, and grizzly bears. As an experienced mountain flyer, you know that such rescues benefit from getting as much altitude as the weather allows, before getting into the mountains. Bill thinks he's in an area that's 4000 or more feet ASL, but it's snowing heavily. Don't forget to lower your skis before landing at Bill's location, and to raise them before landing back at the Airport.

| NW Tour Flights |

File Description:
NW Tour Flights consists of 7 flights through Northwest Canada and Alaska. The flights begin in Juneau and continue to Fairbanks, Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Edmonton, Vancouver, B.C., Ketchikan and back to Juneau. You can fly them in any order you choose.
The Flight Plans (.PLN files) were developed using the FS2004 default 737-400, with clear weather. They use the autopilot from takeoff to landing. The speed, altitude, weather, radios and various other controls are the pilot’s responsibility. Most landings are IFR and all are under the control of the autopilot. The .FLT & .WX files were created with Real world weather (static) running. As a result, FLT 01 starts out in Juneau with the 737-400 in snowy weather and low clouds. You can take off in the snow OR change the weather to "Clear Skies or Fair Weather" to enjoy a scenic take off and climb out from Juneau. And when you return to Juneau from Ketchikan, your approach down the fiord will be a memorable flight.

Story as follows: NEWS FLASH! 08/18/2005 - BUSH PILOT GROUNDED PENDING INVESTIGATION - KETCHIKAN (APX) - The alaska wilderness is no stranger to strange tales. At least that's how it appears in the case of a local bush pilot, Randy Morgan, who had quite a large one to tell.
At 6 PM on the evening of the 16th, Randy and one passenger took off in a Cessna 182RG from Maloney's Tavern on his way back to Ketchikan. "The weather was good and I had no idea what was about to happen" said Randy Morgan. "We had planned our flight to pass over Raptor's Roost and Punchbowl Lake before heading into Ketchikan when I saw it." File Description:
Redtail Ridge is a fictitious place in Alaska, but it's name is somewhat misleading as there is no ridges on the island. The airport boasts a 2300x45FT dirt runway, although it displays as a snow runway. There is also a 10000FT water runway, marked at each end with a red buoy. The airport is mainly intended as a place for the weary bush pilot to go and relax. There is a line of lakeside cabins to stay in, and there's even three little docks for floatplanes to tie up at. Also available are a selection of boats to rent, both sailboats and motorboats. For transportation around, there is a even a rental car angency. If the cabins are filled, stay in the hotel or sleep outdoors in the campsites. Go shopping at the mall or grab a bite to eat at the fast food joints. This is a collection of scenery enhancements for 81 airports, mostly smaller ones, located primarily in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Western Canada. (Yes, there's one in New Zealand.) It was not our intention to do anything fancy or particularly accurate, but simply to make the default scenery less boring and more fun. General aviation AI traffic (using default FS9 aircraft) is also included for some of these airports. The scenery for any individual airport may be removed without affecting the other airports. Some the airports we've done may also be included in Glacier Bay and other scenery add-ons; you'll need to remove one or the other to resolve any conflicts. This scenery was designed to work with Flight1's Ultimate Terrain and has not been tested with the default FS9 scenery. Most of the airports will probably work fine with the default scenery; those airports near water features (lakes, rivers, coastlines) are the ones most likely to have problems.

Version 1.1 adds the missing door on the ground side of the terminal building. It is complete and does not require that you already have the previous version.
Beaver Creek CYXQ is a small airport in the northern Canada Yukon Territory, near the Alaskan border. There is a customs facility located on the Alaska Highway adjacent to the airport. There is an NDB located on the field, but no published instrument approaches. The single gravel runway is 3740'long.
This scenery was completely redone and features a custom photoreal terminal and custom runway/taxiway lights. The adjacent customs facility is included but is not based on the real one as I had no photos to work from. The custom runway lights are always on, even during the day...sorry, this is an FS9 limitation.
This scenery was designed for use with Ultimate Terrain and was not tested in the default scenery. It may or may not work in FSX.

| Campbell River CAE3 in BC Canada, textures and revised AI with Beaver aircraft |

File Description:
Campbell River CAE3 float base is in the middle of the eastern shore of Vancouver Island, six miles from the airport of the same name and where the channel between island and coast narrows down. Coril Air and Vancouver Island Air are both based there, but any number of other company planes can be seen on a daily basis, for instance Harbour Air which runs a regular service from Vancouver. This post provides all the textures required for the original post (some were missing, as I was told recently after some years had passed) plus a revised traffic file for Campbell River which has Beaver float planes flying between Campbell River and Vancouver Harbour. The Beaver planes are included, with permission, from the payware Alaska scenery by FSAddon. The layout of the dock moorings has been revised and the AFCAD included here replaces the one previously provided. The date of the scenery is around 2010, before a lot of the holiday trailers had been removed.
