Columbia-Willamette Rivers Fix

File Description:
These flattening files lower the elevated water on the Columbia and Willamette rivers in and around Portland, Oregon. On the Columbia River they start east of Astoria, OR (KAST) and proceed east and south through Portland, OR (KPDX) then east to Cascade Locks, OR (KXZK). On the Willamette River they proceed from Portland south to just north of Aurora, OR (KUAO) ending at the collapsed bridge. Several bodies of water next to the Columbia and Willamette rivers have also been flattened. These files work well with FS default scenery and FS Genesis 38m mesh scenery.

Cessnock and Hidden Valley Farm, NSW, AUSTRALIA.

File Description:
CESSNOCK just a short 25 minute flight from Sydney. Cessnock was once the center of a large coal mining industry, is now one of the main jumping off points for the wine growing district of the Hunter Valley. HIDDEN VALLY FARM is your destination for that "rural" type getaway. The grass strip will accomodate single and twin engined aircraft. If your really good, try the Lear. Directions to the farm at Cessnock and Warnervale (warn2004.zip) airports. For use with or without SATPAC mesh scenery. Textured required are Airport 2.6, VOD, Nova and Nova Gold.

Beartooth Mountain Enhancements

File Description:
The Flight Simulator default scenery has no lakes for the Beartooth Mountains of south-central Montana and adjacent Wyoming. Streams and roads follow unnatural paths up and down mountainsides and valley and canyon walls. These modifications add more than 1,150 lakes and ponds to the Beartooth Mountain landscape and major streams and highways are more accurately located. Some secondary and other roads and the Red Lodge ski area have been added. Addon 38.2m mesh such as the excellent FSGenesis Rocky Mountains freeware is necessary to properly view these modifications.

Namibia, Southwestern Africa

File Description:
Replacement landclass file for all of Namibia and parts of western Botswana (S15-30 E11-25). Based on the new Global Land Cover 2000 Project data, this landclass file is still quite basic but better (I believe) than the FS original. In addition, I used Ground2K4 to more accurately represent natural and man-made features in five areas throughout the country, including Windhoek, Swakopmund/Walvis Bay, and the Fish River Canyon. Meant to be used with my Namibia LOD9 add-on mesh series. Landclass source files are included.

Alta circling approach

File Description:
The old circling approach for runway 30 at Alta, Norway (ENAT) is a challenging approach. I don't think it is used anymore, but it was still in use during the 1980:s and perhaps even into the 1990:s when SAS flew DC-9 i northern Norway. During the approach you fly a circle, following lights in the terrain and keeping track of the altitude. Included in this zip-archive are the bgl-files for the lights and the old approach plates for Alta. Recommended additional installations are Norway airports and Norway Mesh. Happy flying!

File Description:
Six Alaskan and Four Hawaiian lighthouse missions. These missions were programmed in Windows 10 (64bit)for FSX Acceleration and will also work in FSX Steam, P3D V2,V3,V4,V5,and V6. However both mission sets require Orbx global base and vector scenery along with the Orbx Southern Alaska for the Alaskan missions. Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. You also have to download additional scenery files as outlined in the Download.txt file if required.

Seattle-Tacoma Intl. KSEA

File Description:
AFCAD of Seattle-Tacoma International. Has more than 95 gates and all are set up according to the airlines that uses them and using the ICAO method. Concourse A is under construction and not in use so those airlines are moved to the South satellite. I used Concourse A and the Soutwest apron as overflow parking for any airline. Alaska and Horizon Airlines overflow into Alaskas Hangar area at night. Northwest and KLM have one overflow spot in front of their hangar. Also some airlines share gates and are represented here.

Misty Fjords Cabins

File Description:
Misty Fjords Cabins: These cabins are depictions of the National Forest Service Cabins that are located in the Misty Fjords of Alaska near Ketchikan. They are available for rent and are flown to by various Charter Companies in the area one of which is Taquan Air whose web site is: http://www.taquanair.com/ . There is an additional cabin on Hugh Smith Lake that is used by the fish and wildlife service. I suppose you could land on the beach at these cabins but it was designed with float planes in mind.

C-FICT is a Charter Air Ambulance for Payette Air of Canada (VA), www.payetteair.com, and used to support Medevac operations in Canada, Alaska, and Western USA.
