Fokker F27 Friendship (Mk500) for AI Download

File Description:
Fokker F27 Friendship (Mk500) for AI The Dutch government provided funding to assist with constructing the Fokker F27, which first first flew in 1955, and Fairchild were licenced to build the Friendship in the United States in 1958. The Mk500 could carry 52 passengers. This model is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population . It is basically too heavy (at 45000lbs all up) to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic programme by Marcus Brunner, but I am using it happily with my general AI traffic on normal routes. I had found that the numerous F27s that have been built were very frame-rate heavy, and as this aircraft has sentimental meaning to me from childhood days, I decided to make a frame-rate friendly version. It is also quite fun to fly as a normal aircraft so I have left a link to a testing panel (Baron 58), but I would suggest you substitute a more suitable replacement. This model incorporates animated rudder, elevator, flaps and ailerons and landing gear. The main model contains only 1671 polygons with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. It also has night lighting. There are three other models incorporated to give a total of 4 LOD models. There are three textures included (Air New Zealand, Fed Ex and Uniair), plus a paintkit, in this zip file. Designed with FSDS v2.24 Aircraft and textures by Mike Cronin

PMDG C-40A clipper US NAVY Download

File Description:
You must own the PMDG B737-600/700 aircraft for these textures to work. These textures are for use with PMDG B737-700 with airstairs no winglets to be used in fs9, textures where saved in 32bit with alpha channels aplied. The textures in this file represent the real US NAVY C-40A clipper,of VR58/VR59 squadrons, which is based on the B737-700, but with strengthened wings and u/c from the B737-800. the PMDG B737-700 aircraft paintkit,as been reworked,in order to get this repaint scheme done, from photos on airliners net, as a guide, the mods are extra panel lines on the 4 main doors,to represent the hinged top and bottom sections, forward sevice door as been repositioned,so it is in line with the internal door, and the panel lines for the main port forward cargo door added, windows and blank window frames, altered to represent those on the C-40A clipper. Night textures and alpha channels modied to the same. the aircraft represented are JV829/832/834 of VR-58 squadron (sunseekers) and RY830/831/832/833 of VR-59 squadron (lonestar express). There is a bit of confusion, over aircraft reg and nose names, because the aircraft where swapped squadrons,832 is one example. i have included read me and instruction files, and jpegs to give help on getting these to work. textures by alan cottrill.

Lear45 Gama Aviation Download

File Description:
GAMA AVIATION repaint and mods of the default fs9 Lear45,repaint was done using a paintkit by Joao Paz,which i modified,to add a bare metal leading edge,to the tailwing, and extended the fin bare metal leading edge,to the top of the fin, like some of the pics i saw on airliners.net. Logo lights and mainwing LE ice lights have been added, the 2d main panel as been reworked,to look more life like, and some switches added. Also included is a brief manual,to show the new switch positions, the mainwing ice & logo lights are set by default to ms standard, but there are alternate lines, that you can activate,in the aircraft & panel.cfg files,if you have the AFG kingair b300 for the lights and project fokker 10070 for a nav/gps switch,in your fs9 system, both aircraft can be found on avsim. I have played around with the flight dynamics, which make it more flyable than the standard out of the box version, also the default lear fin strobe did not come on using the 2d panel light switch,it only came on if you pressed the l key, that i have fixed. Also included are the two modified default schemes,to update the bare metal leading edges and panel lines and alpha channels. All these paints are saved in 32bit for a sharper image,i have not noticed any drop in frame rates, due to these paints.

DDA Classic Airlines PH-PBA Circa 2012 and 2016 Douglas C-47 (DC-3) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
For Manfred Jahn's C-47 with Jan Visser's VVC, version 3.12 two repaint of DDA (Dutch Dakota Association) Classic Airlines. The PH-PBA is the only flying DC-3/C-47 in the Netherlands at the moment. Hopefully joined by her sister (PH-DDZ) in the near future.

The 2012 livery is in the classic KLM livery. In 2016 the KLM terminated the sponsorship of the DDA, therefore the KLM titles were removed and replace with DDA titles and logo. Which is shown in the 2016 livery.

For more info on the real DDA visit there site: https://www.dutchdakota.nl/en/home/

Besides the outside, the inside and the pilot's got a different look. Also added some more details, especially at the tires and gear struts.

These are repaint only, you need to install the beautiful freeware plane first. It's available here:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?101539-Douglas_C-47_V3-12_Beta-zip
Model-update is available here (recommended):
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?101851-FSX-P3D-C-47-V3-Three-Exterior-Models-zip

Big thanks to Manfred Jahn and his team for creating this beautiful model and Jan Visser and his team for all the work done to improve this model even further. Ted "TuFun" Wolfgang for the improved engine textures. For this repaint the excellent paintkit by Gordon "Gman5250" Madison was used.

Delta Airlines A330-302 (242 Tonne) N828NW Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
BlackBox Simulations [BBS] Airbus Xtreme Series A330 V0.802 or above is required for this repaint. FSX/P3D ONLY. Airbus announced Delta Airlines as the launch customer of the increased weight, 242 tonne, A330-300 for more route options as well as added passenger comfort. The new A330ceo is also the base of the A330neo but with the standard wings and an upgraded General Electric GE CF6-80E1 engine option. Delta is the first of 12 customers to fly this increased range A330. The plane can fly up to 6,100nm and has 2% less fuel consumption. This repaint is part of FlightsimFX's HIGH DETAIL SERIES (HDS) which is essentially a study level repaint of select few liveries. Enjoy more than 250 layers of custom texture additions/changes to the stock paintkit supplied! BlackBox simulations has contributed to our community with the release of their advanced Airbus Aircraft series. As good as the gauges and cockpit is, it is lacking greatly in the texture department. I have taken initiative to fix their plastic looking, overall sub par, textures with my newer ones. There is a lot of work that will still be added but as of now, I believe this is a stable amount of fixes to the BBS A330 Texture sets. I have also included my "Optional BBS Common Texture Changes" folder if you are interested in the other work to make the BBS a bit more realistic. Stay tuned for more enhancements.

Lockheed P-38L RAAF A55-1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz P-38L, representing A55-1 of the RAAF, 1943. In order to meet an urgent RAAF requirement for photographic reconnaissance, three P-38Es were transferred from the USAAF for service with No 1 PRU. The first Lightning, A55-1, depicted here, was received on August 31 1942, and operated successfully until it was written-off in a landing accident on August 2 1944 at Coomallie Strip. The second aircraft, A55-2 had a less spectacular career and operated only between 4 Sep 42 and 18 Dec 42, and was phased out of service on the latter date. The third Lightning, A55-3 was received from the USAAF at Eagle Farm on February 27 1943 and operated throughout the year until it was written-off in a wheels-up landing on December 10 1943. The aircraft of this repaint, A55-1 was originally F-4-1-LO serial 41-2158. I have found pictures of it in camouflage paint as well as in bare metal, and it is the latter that I have depicted. It shows 59 mission markings on the picture taken at Coomalie Creek, which I assume was late in its career with the RAAF. Although the original was a P-38E/F-4 and the Milviz model is a P-38L, I thought people would still like this repaint. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.

Consolidated PBY-5 RNZAF 6 Sqn XX-N Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5 (Bu08450) NZ4012 XX-N 'The Naughty Nine" of the RNZAF, as it looked while flying with FltLt Guy Rogers and crew from the Solomon Islands in 1945 with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-N arrived in Fiji on 20 june 1943. It was declared surplus to requirements in 1951, and was broken up in Hobsonville in 1952. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A 42-92847 3X-W "That's All, Brother!"of the 438th TCG, based in Greenham Common, England. It was the aircraft that was the lead plane with the parachute droppings on the night of D-Day, dropping men of 502nd PIR of the 101st Airborne Division arond 00:48. It then returned to Greenham Common and later that day pulled a glider to Normandy to reinforce the 82nd Airborne Division. Later it evacuated wounded from France, took part in Operation Market Garden, flew supplies to Bastogne, took part in Operation Varsity, before returning to the US in 1945. It passed through the hands of several private owners, is rumoured to have flwon for the CIA, and was restored as an AC-47 gunship by the Aero heritage Museum in 2004.. In 2008 it went to Basler for conversion to a turboprop BT-67, when somebody recognised the significance of this aircraft. A kickstarter campaign secured the purchase by the Commemorative Air Force, who are planning to restore her to her D-Day configuration. More details on this, including D-Day footage, can be seen here: http://ww2live.com/en/content/world-war-2-forgotten-d-day-bird-s-all-brother-will-be-restored-and-itll-fly-thanks. Douglas C-47 (X-1) Dutch Air Force Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of X-1 of the Dutch Air Force. The Dutch Air Force received her first Dakota's in 1952, although they owned one in 1946, but that crashed near Katwijk the same year and was destroyed. That one carried the registration X-1, but that is not the subject of my paint... The Air Force later leased one C-47 from the KLM, gave it the military registration X-2, but it kept its civil registration, PH-TBV, on the tail. Later they leased a few more, and clearly they liked them, because they bought a few more in 1952. The first one was taken on charge in 1952 and was numbered X-1 as depicted in this repaint. The makers badge with its construction number was missing however, and nobody seems to know where this aircraft came from. The logbook mentions the aircraft was 'found'. There was a rumour that the aircraft had been used by refugees from the east and landed at Valkenburg airfield without registration. About a year later, in the aircraft made an emergency landing near Valkenburg after taking off for a relief flight for the flooded areas in the south of the Netherlands on 6 februari 1953 and was written off.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
