Project Airbus A320-200 V2.1 Model features idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, improved dynamic shine, improved wing parts, new antenna hiding method, modelled engine innards, fan semi-transparent at high rpm, custom fan animations (including fan windmilling), double strobes, improved control surface droop w/engines off, custom nose wheel steering code, rudder influenced by wind during surface droop, lots of other fixes and improvements. Livery By Matt Tank (Project Airbus A320 model included).
*Also please note this paint is for FS2004, not sure how it will work with FSX.*

File Description:
This is the first version of my scenery for the Joint Base Andrews Naval Air Facility, Maryland, USA - better known as Andrews Air Force Base.
The main buildings, fences, tanks and other objects are completely self-created, modeled with GMAX and covered with self-created textures. For this I have used GIMP - and of course DXTBMP.
For the trees, cars and other items I have used already existing libraries and others like Matt Tomkins' MTtrees, Sidney Schwartz' ESDG Ramp Lights and Lars Hoyer's Extra Objects. Furthermore MAIW's (Military AI Works) airplanes are used to fill the apron with static aircraft. A complete list of used libraries you will find in the readme file.

File Description:
This is the first in a series of missions on challenging approaches and landings. The mission begins with you are approaching SBG VOR, enroute to Innsbruck, Austria, LOWI. As you approach Rattenberg NDB, ATC commands 200 KIAS and 9500' to intercept RTT (Goal 1). You are also advised to enter a holding pattern at RTT, your fix, to allow time for snow removal from the runway. The pattern is standard right-hand turns with 1.5 minute legs and 200 knots at 9500'. The inbound track is 226°, while outbound is 46°. Winds are high, so you will have to compensate to stay aligned in the pattern and certify (Goal 2). Next up is to achieve a stabilized approach on the steep glide slope to runway 25 as Goal 2. The final goal is a safe full stop landing on runway 26 at elevation 1894' The descent is near 4° gradient and the runway VOR (111.1) is offset to the right, thus the “challengeâ€. Complete all three goals and you certify to fly to LOWI and receive a Reward.

textures for alphasim freeware meteor available here at avsim. Delivered 14/07/53. Withdrawn from use 04/06/58. Was up a pole at 2AD until around 1988. Was located in Dubbo. Has been dismantled and now located at Camden NSW under the care of AIRTC.

File Description:
This modified panel.cfg halves the amount of virtual cockpit panel faces. This doubles the gauge refresh rate (4.5 -> 9) and makes flying much easier, smoother and that more realistic with almost no change in visual appearence or fuction (see read me for more details). Easy install, just copy and overwrite the files. Always remember to back up your original files first!
