RCTP Taoyuan International Airport Taiwan

File Description:
Updated version of the airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCTP Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. The RCTP airport scenery in FSX is quite elaborate, but unfortunately has too many and wrongly numbered gates. This file removes the extra gates, assigns correct gates and terminals to all the major airlines, and adds realistic cargo parking spaces in the north apron. General parking on the EVA apron has been replaced by EVA and EVA Cargo spaces. The airport has been renamed as it has in real life, to "Taoyuan International". Tested with World of AI only. Parking for Taiwan-China direct flights at Terminal 2 for Chinese carriers provided. Tested with World of AI only.

FZAA N'Djili Airport Kinshasa, DR Congo

File Description:
Airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default N'Djili Airport Kinshasa (FZAA/FIH), DR Congo. This is a minor update to the default FZAA airport in FSX. Dirt and concrete aprons and parking spots have been added based on satellite images. No gate assignments. Tested with WoAI and custom AI.

WBKK Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Malaysia

File Description:
This is an airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default WBKK Kota Kinabalu International Airport on Borneo in Malaysia. It features an enlarged apron to place all default buildings on asphalt. I added missing gates and corrected position and numbering. Due to errors in the default building positions, I cannot accurately place the air bridges for gate 1, 2 and 6 (1 and 6 omitted entirely). Limited gate assignments.

This 727-200 OY-SBI was rented in 1992 at short notice by the Danish Sterling Airways. The aircraft is a construction year 1983 and with it one of the last those of this type were built. Textures only for AI Aaarvark's 727-200.

New Vickers VC10 panel, Part 2

File Description:
This is part 2 of a two part download.

This project is based on David Maltby's panel for the Vickers VC10, model available here: www.dmflightsim.co.uk/vickers_vc10.htm.



The project's aim is to enhance the cockpit experience by re-activating numerous gauges, switches and lights that previously had no function. It also introduces some new gauges and windows that are not in the original model. And, to bring the cockpit procedures as close as possible to the real checklists. To this end it contains voicechecklist files, a cockpit briefing and interactions with the cabin crew including a safety briefing.

The cockpit instrumentation has also been brought up to date with modern requirements and practices. And, as well as a number of new additional windows there is also a new night cockpit. The checklists are taken from the original BOAC flight manual and are extremely detailed as they are designed for a three man crew! So, as a single "sim" pilot you will be very busy! I have made well over 100+ additions and changes making this a comprehensive update. The original model was very similar to how one drives a car. That is get in, turn on the ignition and drive off!! You will find this update very different as it intentionally brings you much much closer to the reality of handling a high performance heavy jet especially one as complex as the elegant VC10!

RCSS Taipei Songshan Airport

File Description:
Airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCSS Songshan (also: Sungshan) Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. Songshan is the domestic airport of Taiwan's capital city. It features an enlarged apron, correct parking for all four scheduled carriers, charter operators, GA and military, and jetways for all gates. Please observe altitude restrictions when departing runway 10 and turning south to avoid crashing into Taipei 101, the world's tallest building (at least for now).

OPSD Skardu Airport Pakistan

File Description:
This is an airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default OPSD Airport at Skardu in the heart of the Kashmir (administered by Pakistan). This file adds aprons, three GA gates, and three commercial gates of medium size. As the default does not include any parking, without this file, you will not see any AI traffic parked at OPSD. Skardu is a popular base for trekkers and climbers in the Karakoram range, featuring absolutely stunning scenery. The narrow valley of the Indus river is surrounded by some of the highest mountains on earth. OPSD is served by PIA and private charters from Islamabad (OPRN - see my separate AFCAD). I have inclosed a flightplan for the offical route from OPRN to OPSD in standard MS FS format. Tested with WoAI only.

File Description:
Province town (KPVC) is a small uncontrolled airport located on the very tip of Cape Cod Massachusetts. I added more GA parking, a place for Cape Air which services the airport, a lighthouse at Race Point, boats and flying seagulls at the marina, parking for cars and some eye candy. made with ADE v 1.37
