Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - An INDEX. This is an index of the popular Tips and Tricks series compiled by David "Opa" Marshall, parts 1 thru 11. In response to several requests, this version of the index is in .PDF format. The index may be "searched" using the Control F (find) command. It requires the free Adobe Acrobat reader program and a link to it is provide in the file. When the Tips and Tricks series resumes in the Fall of 2005, we anticipate including an updated copy of this Index with each issue. Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - An INDEX. This is an index in Excel format (xls) of the popular Tips and Tricks series compiled by David "Opa" Marshall, parts 1 thru 11. The index may be "searched" and "sorted" to display the information you desire. A short guide in .doc format is included to assist those who may not be familiar with Excel. Requires Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet program), which is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite. When the Tips and Tricks series resumes in the Fall of 2005, we anticipate including an updated copy of this Index with each issue. File Description:
TBD-1 Devastator MIDWAY T-3, June 1942. For the B24 Guy's Overhaul Model. The make-up of this skin was possible through viewing a photo of the "T-3" of the Torpedo Squadron Eight, that was taken on the launching deck of the USS Hornet (VT-8) on May 15, 1942. All of the 15 TBDs that were launched in this group on June 4, 1942 found their target--the IJN's Kaga, but even with their success, all were shot down. Enjoy!

| MeatWater VocPack for Radar Contact 4 VERSION 2 ## Part 1 of 10 ## |

File Description:
Beeing a permanent user of RC4 I always felt that the only real downside were the voices which did not really sound like real ATC. The sheer amount of single files (more than 80.000!) always kept me from working on them, but then I found a way to batch process them, which took a lot of workload from me. However, due to the nature of these files and because almost every different voice set had a different "base-sound" as well, it was still required to fine tune the parameters for every single voice set, which turned out to be a lot more work than expected/feared. Once started I didn't want to give up half way down the road, so after many hours I finally had a complete set with a more than satisfying result. By installing these Version 2 remastered voice sets, ATC will now sound almost as the prerecorded, real chatter files, meaning that you will have to listen much more carefully now in order to hear messages that are directed to you. All voices now feature a "real" ATC sound, making RC4 immersive as never before. All included voice sets have also been increased in playback speed (new in this version!), allowing for a much more natural and professional flow. This new version also contains two remastered pilot voice sets that now feature a real "intercom" sound effect different from the VHF sound effect added to the controller voices.

File Description:
The files in this package contain terrain mesh files of the province of Quebec (N45 to N53) to be used with my Quebec enhanced sceneries for FS2004 (Scenes_du_Quebec_2k4.zip). The public data sources are the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM-3, 90m) and the Canadian Digital Elevation Data (CDED - 0.75s/arc - 23m). (QC09_2k4a.zip to QC09_2k4d.zip - 4 parts)

File Description:
First of the two files needed. The package includes all freeware scenery created by the HSP team for Greece in FS9 up to June 2009. The package bundles all HSP released scenery in one pack which was necessary following the loss of several files after avsim's file library crash.
By using this scenery you do not need to download anything else from HSP. Included are detailed airport sceneries of LGAL Alexandroupolis, LGAV Athens Venizelos, LGIR Iraklion, LGKO Kos, LGMK Mikonos, LGSA Chania, LGSO Syros, LGSR Santorini as well as HSP base scenery with essential improvements to other airports and finally the detailed mesh terrain for all Hellenic territory.

5KY4 is a small private use, single runway airport located 1 mile W of Elkton, KY, a small town in Kentucky. It has a single grass runway measuring 2930 x 75 feet. No fuel is available and it should be considered a day-use only airport as there are no runway lights.
