The C.202 Folgore was a World War II fighter aircraft built by Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force). Considered one of the most beautiful fighters to fly with wartime Axis forces,the C.202 was a development of the earlier C.200 Saetta,with a more powerful German Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and with an extremely streamlined fuselage.Undoubtedly the best wartime fighter to serve in large numbers with the Regia Aeronautica,the Folgore operated on all fronts in which Italy was involved.
ATTENTION, this is only an upgrade package,so you MUST have already installed the main package 'c202_v01.zip'and the Expansion Pack 1 'C202_EP1.zip'.
Contains 2 NEW Hi-Res GMax models (2 different versions) feature the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading edge flaps. Eight (6) different liveries. VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Huub Vink & Italianwings, Flight dynamics by Manuele Villa & Kikko Zanaboni. It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within FSX. File Description:
This Aircraft looks like aGMax model, but has something more. It's not. It includes all animations you could want for FS2002, for instance press SHIFT+E to open the main door. and the sun reflection effect not possible with GMax. With 5 different liveries, reflections and glare effect on fuselage and canopy. A basic Virtual cockpit. The PD-808 is an electronic warfare aircraft, used by italian forces. 27 were built, Piaggio found not anyone intersted in it in the hard civiian buisness, and limited to produce just the ones requested by Italian Air Force (FFAA).
It comes in 5 different liveries:
1) Aeronautica militare: as FFAA painted it for transportation use
2) Low Profile Gray: an opaque paint version, probably for use in electronic operations when mimetic is less important than radar engagement
3) Mimetic paint scheme: painted in gray and green ,the paint is strangely gloss to a mimetic paint...
4) Pratica Di Mare: a little test airport in Italy, soit's a sort of prototype used for secondary tests.
5) Test Livery: As Piaggio painted the first prototype (It seems...)

| Lockheed P-38L Italian Air Force 3 Stormo 3-12 |

This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz P-38L, representing P-38L MM4260 3-21 as flown by the 3 Stormo of the Italian Air Force. After the war, Italy received 120 P-38s in an agreement dated April, 1946. Those heavy fighters, mainly P-38Ls, but also F-5s, were put in service in 4 Stormo. They flew reconnaissance missions over the Balkans, as well as ground attack, naval cooperation and air superiority missions. Delivered after a one-month refurbishing, they finally were all sent to AMI not before 1952. Other wings, like 3 Stormo, used the P-38 as well. Due at the big dimensions of this fighter, the old engines and pilot error, a very high number of P-38s, sadly, were lost in accidents. At least 30 crashes of P-38s in Italian service claimed a number of victims. Despite this, many Italian pilots liked the fighter, due to its excellent visibility on the ground and its stability at take off. Finally, P-38s were phased-out in 1956. Today, no Italian P-38s survive, nor even a single component from one, as these aircraft, with the value of light alloys, were quickly dismantled. File Description:
The Fokker EV,later designated the D VIII,was one of the most controversial aircraft produced by Fokker in WW 1. It was a masterpiece of simplicity, the designer, Reinhold Platz, had cut to the bone all the struttery and wire bracing and the result was undoubtedly the "cleanest" fighter of the time.It was nicknamed "The Flying Razor"for obvious reasons. It was flight tested with glowing reports of it's speed, handling and manoeuvrbility. It could be produced using much less man hours than it's contemporaries.There is little doubt that if sufficient numbers had been available in time, it would have been a real thorn in the side of the allies. The Fokker D VIII was never proven in combat, apart from one aerial victory. Italy received three Fokker D VIII after the end of WW1 as "War Damages Compensation", these aircrafts were based on Montecelio (Guidonia) Airport, near Rome and were used only for tests. After 1930 they were sold to civil pilots. This aircraft, with I-ELIA code, were used during the 1931's "Air Show" (Giornata dell'Aria) at 'Littorio' Airport (Rome) and were demolished during 1940. Textures only for Frank Elton's fs2004 Fokker D-VIII model (PEGASUS AVIATION DESIGN). Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Googly scenery for LFBT Tarbes - a normally quiet airport that just sees a few
domestic flights a day but bursts into life for those of the the Catholic faith to
participate in the pilgrimage to Lourdes. At these times it is served by a
regular stream of charter flights and the airport can handle aircraft as large
as the Boeing 747. The only scheduled flights are between here and Paris, normally operated by Canadair CRJ700 craft worked by Brittany Air International on behalf of Air France, but a huge range of charter operators - mostly from Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the
United Kingdom and Germany - may be seen here at times and although seasonal this
traffic represents 80% of the airport's entire annual activity.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on less-than-perfect
satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the
added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Civilian "CS" (Competizione Sportiva=Sporting Race) versions of the known medium and torpedo bomber Savoia-Marchetti S.79 "Sparviero", deployed by Regia Aeronautica, or Italian Royal Air Force, were successfully flown (w/civil marks) in the "Istres-Damascus-Paris (Lindberg Cup)" 1937 air race, where they ranked the first three places of the final scoreboard. The also "civilian" "T" (Transatlantic) version of the very same S.79 performed exceptionally in the 1938 Atlantic crossing Roma-Dakar-Rio de Janeiro and in a 1939 experimental test meant to verify the feasibility of an airline passengers and mail line between Italy and South America for the civilian airlines (Ala Littoria S.A.- Linee Aeree Atlantiche, later called L.A.T.I./Linee Aeree Transcontinentali Italiane) over the routes of Southern Atlantic Ocean.
3 new different GMax models, covering 3 different versions of the civilian S.79 described above and featuring the standard animated parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading-edge slats. Ten (10) different liveries depicting all the S.79CS team which flew the 1937 Istres-Damascus-Paris Race, the 1938 Roma-Rio de Janeiro Expedition and 1939 Transatlantic Test flight. This plane was originally developed for FS9, but an FSX version is also available in another separated release. VC only. This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 VH-EDM of Qantas Empire Airways. This aircraft was built new for Western Airlines and entered onto the United States Aircraft Register as NC10203 - April 1946
It was sold to Australian National Airways in 1947 and entered onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-ANG. The aircraft was named 'Palana' (star).
It was sold to British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines in 1948 and reregistered as VH-BPD and renamed 'Discovery'. It was sold to Qantas Empire Airways in 1949, reregistered VH-EBM and renamed 'Philippine Trader'. It operated the inaugural Sydney - Darwin - Labuan - Hong Kong service as EM202 in June 1949
It was chartered by T.E.A.L. to operate the Melbourne - Christchurch (Harwood) - Melbourne service - June 29, 1951.
The aircraft suffered major nose damage whilst landing at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on November 08, 1951, when the nose wheel collapsed during the landing roll, but it was repaired and returned to service.
It was sold to Zantop Air Transport Inc, Detroit, becoming N600Z in November 1959. It then went to Trans Mediterranean Airways of Lebanon in 1962 as OD-AEC. It crashed into the sea off Brindisi, Italy shortly after take-off on July 09, 1962, killing all six people on board.
