Captain Jackson Kungfu-Larz has been flying the Lukla route for around
21 years. Flying tourists and mountain climbers to this little mountain town is just
one of those things. Today he and his co-pilot, you, will abbandon the regular route
and take a "supply" plane from Lukla to Tumlingtar where you´ll will pick up
spare parts for a Polish Motorcicle group out in a mountain road, then you fly to Gutaba where
you will transfer to a Helicopter to carry these, food and purified
water to some arqueologists out in some old Temples and other stuffs for a group of tourists
out in a very old Buddist Monastery spending the weekend. You will return after delivery of all this
to Gutaba and fly two Engineers to Ku-Kle where the trip ends, either in the tarmac or against the mountain
....So get to speed with the old Twin Otter or similiar aircraft and be prepared to pray several times to
the Lord Budda for this "trip" is a "rock breaker". (Shalam sum quan Pin, lip sum turog) Translation:

| MedJet Beechcraft 400A - two versions |

MedJet (not sure if they fly the Beech 400 - in fact not usre that they actually have any aircraft... Websearch kept directing me to a world wide medical insurance plan... so they may use member ambulance services... but did see a couple of photos with Medjet on he side of Lears)
Two aircraft- one is an air ambulance the other for medical charter. In case you are like me and use panels with cockpit views, have included two "rear" views of a Beech interior... a rather "business like interior... non-posh ... found a picture of an aircraft interior that was an air ambulance - not a beech - "lifted the Air Stretcher out of the photo and trimed and pasted it to the beech interior to distinguish the two.. so if you choose you can do same for your panel.. I use the same panel for both with the different "rear" view ... just copy the panel and rename it .... in my case... I have panel and panel.1 - with one for charter the other for air ambulance... just make the change in the conifg file... texture= (for the panel) and texture=1 for the the second panel... takes up a bit more space on your HD... but not all that much.. depending on your panel size. MEGA Maldives Airlines has introduced a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet as part of its fleet modernization drive.The aircraft is just over 4 years old with 12 business class seats and 156 economy class seats with the latest Boeing Sky interior and new extra fuel saving “split scimitar†winglets. It is part of an overall strategy for the airline to update and re-structure its fleet over the next year. The aircraft will support MEGA’s plans for increased connectivity between the Maldives and short to medium range markets. This includes India and Sri Lanka, with new routes starting within the 4th quarter. MEGA also plans to restart its Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah routes, although these routes will operate primarily on larger 767 aircraft in MEGA’s existing fleet. he new B737 aircraft is wet-leased from Czech operator Travel Services, but will fly in the MEGA Maldives Airlines colours and livery and MEGA Maldives cabin crew will service the flight onboard. This is the third time MEGA has wet-leased an aircraft from Travel Services. Furthermore, in support of the national drive to increase tourism, the aircraft also sports the “Maldives – sunny side of life†logo prominently. This greatly modifies my previous post of Sioux Lookout; it is stand-alone and does not require you to have the 2009 version. The AI provided with the post complements what was included with Dryden (March 2013). Sioux Lookout is in northern Ontario, 40 miles east of Dryden, and 145 miles northwest of Thunder Bay. The town is on the northeastern shore of a lake that I don't know the name of (I've been there, but has anyone COUNTED how many lakes Canada has?). It has a population of around 5,000. The main businesses are lumber, tourism, and health care. The airport is immediately adjacent to the northeastern corner of the town, and has 5,300' of asphalt which is aligned 16-34. There are two taxiways which curve and climb up to the apron which is 20 or 30 feet higher. When you taxi on them the knowledge that in reality you would be climbing makes sense of the curved routing. The apron is large and a mixture of asphalt and gravel. I did not make the terminal building and I have no photo or even a recollection of what it looks like, so you should first install Northwest Ontario Airports by Eric O'Link as he has a terminal building for CYXL that might be how it looks; some of his airfields collide with other and newer versions and I have kept only his CYXL and CYPL bgl's.

| USAF Douglas DB-26 B and C Drone Launch Invaders |

File Description:
Three texture sets for two USAF drone launching B-26 Invaders, of the 4750th Drone Squadron, Vincent AFB (later Yuma MCAS after 1958), Yuma, AZ and the 4756th Drone Squadron, Tyndall AFB, FL in the late Fifties and Early Sixties.
This set of repaint textures for the SOH A-26 Invader, depicting a set of DB-26 drone launching aircraft of the USAF in the late Fifties and early Sixties. The aircraft were unarmed and had pylons installed under both wings for carrying and launching Ryan Firebee drones. Sadly, the model doesn't have the drones.
I also want to thank Mr. Jim Brink, who was the commanding officer of the 4750th Drone Squadron when they started with the DB-26's, for his pictures and help in making these repaints accurate. Also, for putting me in touch with Mr. John Nitka, who has researched Firebee launch operations for fifteen years and has collected a treasure trove of information (his father worked on the DB-26's at Vincent AFB and Tyndall AFB). It was he who shared the squadron emblems with me and provided several pictures without which I could not have completed these repaints, nor the next few I intend to do. My sincere and grateful thanks to both of them. It is to Jim Brink, and John Nitka's Dad, that I dedicate these repaints as well as to all who maintained or flew them.

The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of its development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft.
The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. Likewise, he A380 features a glass cockpit and side-stick flight controller.

Steamboat Springs (KSBS), Flat Tops Wilderness Area, Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
The Flat Tops Wilderness Area, which is the second largest wilderness area in Colorado, is named for its many flat topped mountains that are clearly visible from the sky. Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area inspired Arthur Carhart, a US Forest Service official, to initiate a plea for Wilderness preservation as early as 1919. Finally in 1975, three years before his death in 1978, the Flat Tops were designated a wilderness area. No wonder he found the area so entrancing: Behind Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them a vast subalpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra with an average elevation of about 10.000 feet. More than 100 lakes dot the country above and below numerous flat-topped cliffs. Steamboat Springs is an internationally known winter resort destination.
To explore the scenery depart from Steamboat Springs Airport (KSBS) or Yampa Valley Airport (KHDN) and head south. | Martinair "Biafra" Douglas DC-6A |

File Description: On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud
owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and
four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The
DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or
97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was
a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October
1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from
the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf
of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was
overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to
Yugoslavia. The inspiration for this repaint was a coincidental meeting at
Schiphol I had many years ago with former Martinair Captain Dries van Ommen. He
was in command of PH-MAM during the Biafra airlift. We had a nice conversion,
accompanied by the impressive sight and sound of a DC-6 during take off. These
are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B
CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LG-P) "Sweet Dish" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 44-6596 LG-P "Sweet Dish" of the 322nd BS/ 91st BG based in Bassingbourne UK. She arrived in Bassingbourne on the 4th of November 1944 and flew her first mission 5 days later, after which she was assigned to Lt Bob Roach and his crew. He suggested naming her Sweet Dish, after his wife, who was known to the crew. Tony Starcer painted her portrait, based on a pocket photograph. By war's end, she would have completed 46 missions by the war's end, including 24 flown by BoB Roach. Her hairiest mission was to Berlin on 5 december. Flak knocked out no.1 engine and set fire to no.2. During the dive to eliminate the fire, the engineer bailed out, and the navigator and bomb aimer followed him. The fire was extinguished however, and 'Sweet Dish' flew home on two engines. They counted 365 holes in the ship next day, and it took until the end of december to get her in the air again. At the end of the war, she took a group of ground crew on a flight over the damaged cities of Germany, so that they too could see the effect of their work, and in may she helped repatriate released PoW's. In june 1945, she flew back to the States, where she was scrapped at Kingman, Arizona in december 1945.

The Macchi C.205 (also known as MC.205,"MC" standing for "Macchi Castoldi") Veltro (Italian:Greyhound) was an Italian World War II fighter aircraft built by the Aeronautica Macchi.
The C.205 was a development of the earlier C.202 Folgore. With a top speed of some 400 mph and equipped with a pair of 20 mm cannon as well as 12.7 mm Breda machine guns, the Macchi C.205 Veltro was highly respected by Allied and Luftwaffe pilots alike. Regarded as the best Italian aircraft of World War II, in action it proved to be extremely effective, destroying a large number of Allied bombers and capable of successfully clashing on equal terms with such renowned fighters as the North American P-51D Mustang, but, although the C.205 was able to match the best Allied opponents in speed and manoeuvrability, it was introduced late in the conflict. Moreover, due to the poor Italian industrial capability of the time, only a small production run was delivered before the end of the war.
Italy's highest scoring ace, Adriano Visconti, achieved 11 of his 26 credited victories in the few weeks he was able to fly the Veltro, with the top scoring 205 Sergente Maggiore pilota Luigi Gorrini shooting down 14 enemy aircraft plus six damaged with the C.205.
