This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows USAAF Spitfire IXc EP-A, which was the personal aircraft of Lt.Col. E.P. Allen of the 9th Tactical Air Command, England, 1944. Rumour has it he traded his Mustng with the RAF for this Spitfire. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

Grant McConachie livery is sported on this 747. Grant McConachie was the one who created Canadian in the sense. He died in the 1960's so this 747 was dedicated to him. There is also a highway in Vancouver named after himn which stretches to the airport (Vancouver international). Next is a CP Air 747-200, but dont hold your breath on it!

File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

File Description:
Repaint of A2A Simulations WoP 3 P-47D-23 Razorback using Martin Catney's fantastic paint kit. This is Captain Leroy V. Grossheusch's P-47D-23-RE. He was Commanding Officer of the 39th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group at Mangaldan (Luzon, Phillippines) in February, 1945. Grossheusch claimed six of his eventual eight victories in this Jug before the group switched to Mustangs.

Re-upload. cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat No. 17 VF-27, USS Princeton, October 24, 1944. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Lt. Richard Stambrook. Lt. Stambrook was the VF-27th's third highest scorer. Six days prior to the sinking of the USS Princeton, he shot down his final kill, a "Nick." By Evan G. Butterbrodt (revev). Enjoy!

Addon texture only for the F8F Bearcat by Michel Migaud, Jean Pierre Bourgeois, Jean Pierre Langer, Benoit Dubé, and Marc Hardouin (bearcat.zip). The markings are that of Howard Pardue's "Kimberly Brooke", an aircraft he has owned for a considerable period of time. At airshows throughout the summer, Howard Pardue and this aircraft perform an elegant aerobatic display that is one to be seen.

Here's a simple batch file that will resize all the biggest textures at KPHL to 512x512 instead of the default 1024x1024, that should improve the micro-stuttering, because VRAM memory requirements are now 4x less. I got this idea from 'virtuali' at http://www.fsdreamteam.com/ .... He did one for their FS9 Honolulu (PHNL) scenery, and I was quite impressed with the results.
