FSX World explorer Marco Polo

File Description:
One of the most disputed world explorers was, no doubt, Marco Polo. Even today, the descriptions of his life and adventures in China are considered a mixture of his own experiences and tales from his father end uncle. Nevertheless it's worthwhile to try and follow his travels which brings us to places we might otherwise never see! It is only logical to select an Italian plane for this project: Manuele Villa's beautiful FIAT G.18V. The default FSX Chinese airports are not sufficient to cover Maro Polo's travels within China, therefore it is necessary to install Winfried Orthmann's scenery china_airports_1,_2,_3, and _4!

Canadian Mountain Parks Pack

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery - This file creates 12 new airports in six of Canada's National Parks (Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho, Glacier and Mt Revelstoke). Required is Holger Sandmann's excellent BC mesh, which is the reason for this file in the first place, and Lago's FSE demo file. Pack designed for low level visual 30 mile scenic flights with some tourist attraction additions (Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, Morainne Lake, Spiral Tunnel etc). The strips are ficticious, but the names and places are real. There is parking for you to add your own AI traffic as well. There are also improvements to other area strips (mainly lights and taxiways). Six flights included.

Vintage Props & Jets

File Description:
This file contains flight plans for use with Flight Simulator 2002 or 2004 AI traffic. They are based on the company's Summer 2004 timetable which is published on their web site at http://www.vpj.com/ . Their scheduled services operate between various Florida airports and the Bahamas. I don't know too much about the airline, but it appears that their fleet is neither "vintage" nor "jet" and apparently consists of four thirty-year old Beech King Air 100s (almost vintage!) and a Beech 1900C, along with three Piper Chieftans and Navajos. The Pipers operate charters throughout southern USA and the Caribbean. I've created some optional imaginary flight plans for these, too.

EKHG Herning, Denmark

File Description:
AFCAD file for FS2004 EKHG Herning Denmark This is one of the airports I fly from my self, and therefor I have made a more presice AFCAD file for use. I have extended the grass runway 09/27, which is used for gliders, and made small fixes for the parking area at the hangers. Furthermore I have included a helipad, because it's very common that small helo's are landing at Herning. I have also made one parking spot to the north of the gliderstrip, which normally are used for motorgliders. I haven't been able to make new hangers yet, but this will be added at a later time. Easy to install.!

Euromanx - Summer 2005

File Description:
Summer 2005 flight plans for use with Flight Simulator 2002 or 2004 AI traffic, based on the company's published timetable. Their scheduled services operate between the Isle of Man and various airports in the UK mainland and Ireland.

Euromanx is a fast-expanding airline focussing on the business commuter market, but does not appear to actually own many aircraft. Many services are operated by aircraft wet-leased from other airlines. Details will be found in the documentation.

The schedules are 100% accurate, as are flight numbers and aircraft allocations, but see the documentation for minor differences that exist prior to 20th May.

Hamburg - Finkenwerder, Germany (EDHI)

File Description:
This FS9 AFCAD2 file is for those of us who like the "EDHI – Hamburg Finkenwerder Version 3.5 (edhi_35.zip)" scenery created by "Frank Zimmermann". I made this file for my own pleasure and fun but decided to share it with all. It may not be 100% perfect real life but it fixes the problem with the AI traffic not following the proper taxi ways in FS9. I added to the airport a HEAVY parking space for those like me who like to have the A380 flying around. Also a cargo parking space for delivery of the Airbus Industrie parts to other airports. General Aviation AI Flight Plans 2.0

File Description:
Contains more realistic flight plans for the general aviation aircraft that came with FS. You can choose between daily or weekly flight plans. GA aircraft will no more fly at night and there is more variation of destinations and flight times, because aircraft no longer fly only between two airports. The weekly flight plans contain different flights every day of the week to increase the variation. Every aircraft has also a registration number of the country it flies in. Meant for people who want to rebuild the AI traffic from scratch, and want to have small aircraft flying around, or simply to add more GA traffic.

Aer Arann Express Winter 2003

File Description:
Aer Arann Express is a small Irish regional airline operating ATR42 & ATR72 aircraft within Ireland and between Ireland and the UK. Airports operated from are: Dublin (EIDW),Cork (EICK),Kerry (EIKY),Galway (EICM),Knock (EIKN),Birmingham (EGBB),Bristol (EGGD),Southampton (EGHI),Luton (EGGW),Edinburgh (EGPH). The flight plans are 100% accurate for Mon to Fri flights and approx 50% accurate for Sat & Sun - Winter 2003 Timetable. Project AI ATR42 aircraft was originally included in this download, but Project AI objected to it being posted on Avsim. The aircraft can be obtained from Project AI's website. Sorry about this being made more difficult than it should be.

Ireland Collection AI Flight Plans/AFCAD

File Description:
AI Flight Plan collection for Irish Airlines - Aer Lingus; Ryanair & Aer Arann Express. Also included are the AFCAD files for the regional airports in Ireland (North & South). I had planned to include the PAI Aircraft for all of the above airlines - in an easy installed form - but Project AI have objected to that. The aircraft can be found on Project AI's website - so unfortunately you'll have to do all of the hard work yourself - sorry about that. I would also recommend my Tower View facility - in the FS2002 Scenery Library. Place the Tower anywhere on the airport and pan around - while listening to 2 radio frequencies.
