Boeing 747-400

File Description:
This is a new version of my 747.400 series panl for fs2004. This is an exact picture of the real 747 panel, using new interior views, realistic new gauges in xml format provided by many gauge designers I want to thank here. This panel must not be used with 747 default due to the virtual cockpit, but is designed for Opensky or Meljet planes (those released for fs2002 work perfectly with fs9). Please read carefully the readme text before e-mailing me about radionav frequencies settings.

File Description: FSX PIA Boeing 747-367, registration AP-BGG. Pakistan International Airlines B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BGG, titled "Kaghan - Mountain Paradise". Contains photoreal tail, accurately placed titles and door surround repainted to match the actual airplane. Engines repainted with large yellow stickers on the left side of the casing to match the actual airplane. Being one of the later model 747-300 aircraft to roll off the assembly line, AP-BGG has a different style wingroot and no wingtip antennas as compared to other classic 747s, and the relevant model has been included. Repainted on the Project Open Sky 747v4 Advanced model. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs, tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. Panel updated to include utility gauge and tow truck gauge. Updated model and fde. Complete pack, requires no external downloads. Textures in high quality 32 bit format to conserve quality. Repaint by Irfan Khan and Ahmed Ahsen, exclusively from Virtual PIA.

Advanced Radar System 4 (ARS4)

File Description: This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration also, but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author. This new Advanced Radar System (ARS 4) includes significant new features, functions and displays for FSX AI traffic. The new key features are: 1)AI traffic display for air targets and boat/ship targets. 2)Auto landing on carrier if the carrier is part of the scenery MECOPS. 3)Allows switching between air target display and boat target display. 4) Provides for air and boat display to optionally insert airport and/or basic terrain display on the screen. 5)Different screen presentations for air and boat targets. 6)Simplified installation procedure. 7)The A2A re-fuel function remains the same as in the ARS2 version. 8)The auto tracking function remains the same as well as in the ARS2 version. All displays for air, or boat/ship traffic, can be selected in a range of 5, 10, 20, and 40 miles. For installation and additional information look at the ARS4 documentation inside the zip file. Reduced Braking Effectiveness in Rain and Snow

File Description:
If you want more realism and are tired of having the same braking effectiveness in rain and snow as on a dry runway then this is for you. There are two gauges, "BrakingAction" and "BrakingAction_AntiSkid".
Use the gauge "BrakingAction" for aircraft which do not have an AntiSkid system; do not use it on aircraft with antiskid (e.g. airliners) - for those use "BrakingAction_AntiSkid".
The gauges will reduce braking effectiveness during rain, snow, and freezing rain. In addition, the "BrakingAction" gauge simulates blocked wheels if you stay on the brake for too long; blocked wheels will further reduce the braking effectiveness; in addition, blocked wheels will put wear on the tires on dry and rainy runways; this may lead to a blown tire.

NOTE: The gauges are made for users who either use the keyboard or an assigned button (or two for differential brakes) on the joystick for braking. The gauges will most likely not work with devices that allow a progressive braking input, i.e. that allow you to apply brake pressure anywhere between 0 and 100% (I guess there are rudder pedals that allow you to do that).

Civilian P51D Mustang

File Description:
Civilian P51D powered by Packard Merlin V-1650-7: For personal use. External model updates, Photo real textures, full working VC with 3d modeled gauges, special Effects and unique sounds.



New to this version:
-textured all small parts visible in VC for better FSX compat;
-Night textures now stay reflective at night;
-new gauge, needle mappings and parts so night lighting much improved;
-fixed the corruption in VC parts due to 4mm weld in makemdl;
-supercharger gauge added, updated airfile and aircraft.cfg;
-switching the Pilots hat off now switch's to leather flying cap;
-added a supercharger high blower setting light and a supercharger switch to VC, please note the switch is inop as the sueperchargers in normal operation was set to auto, supercharger will switch to highblower at 17700+ feet;
-added more polys to rudder and prop boss, tailwheel now turns, prop pitch on still blades has much more pitch when moved with pitch lever;
-sundry texture fixes and hole filling.

FS2004 Avro ARJ Panel Update to v4.1

File Description:
This is an update for the Avro ARJ panel v4.0 to v4.1. It contents Doug Dawson's config gauge, which offers now the possibility to save the switch positions and necessary values of the panel to an ini file which will be loaded in another flightsim session or when reloading the panel. The update corrects also two still existing minor bugs and contents a rework of the VS hold and LVLCHG mode when descending. Version 4.0 (Mlarjv40.zip) is necessary for this update. AM Broadcast Radio - The 1930's Nav-Aid and In-Flight Entertainment Appliance

File Description:
This system of scenery, sound, panel, and gauge additions seeks to simulate the use of Commercial AM Broadcast stations for aviation Navigation, Weather, Information, and Music in the 1930’s, before the installation of the Radio Range, and NDB systems. It is intended to predate those systems, and to work with them as appropriate. A set of ten 1-minute WAV files - samples of period music and radio broadcasts - forms the core of this facility. Full instructions are included, together with information on the development of this add-on. January 2007.

HUD Panel for Boeing 737NG

File Description:
This is an adaptaion of Jon Gibbs' HGS Hud panel gauge to integrate it into the PMDG 737NG panel. This file only includes the directions on how to integrate the file, it does not contain any gauges or panel files except a readme file and some screenshots. You will need Jon's great HGS available here on AVSIM (jghgsv2.zip) and PMDG's great payware 737NG add-on. This file is useless without these! Word of warning; you need to have some experience with modifying and accessing the files within the Flight Simulator folder.

Real Airbus A330/A340 Overspeed Warning

File Description:
This ist the first available A330/A340 overspeed warning sound. In reality you hear the master warning sound and retard callout at the same time, when you exeed the VMO (Velocity maximum operation).

This folder consists only a wave file. There is no gauge file inside. This wave file is an opportunity for you to replace unrealistic Airbus overspeed sounds. Overspeed sound for the A320 family will follow soon. If you want to replace your old sound with this one, you can use the windows audio recorder for example. Have fun!
