File Description: This repaint depicts the Arizona ANG 152nd Fighter Squadron Commanders "Los Vaqueros" F-16C 88-0417. I saw this jet on static display at the Davis-Monthan airshow here in Tucson last month and knew right away that I HAD to paint it for the Aerosoft F-16! Also, while painting that jet I discovered on F16.net that the AZ ANG texture that came with the Aerosoft package, "texture.AZ_162 FW" tail number 84-318, depicts an F-16 from the 195th FS that's since been retired and is now sitting out in the "boneyard". So I decided to paint an "active" jet from the 195th to replace that one and included it in this package as a "bonus"!

Pre FS2004 Reminder

File Description:
Pre FS2004 Reminder. FS Rule #1 - provide maximum computer resources for your Flight Simulator environment! If you are like me, too often I forget to close unnecessary programs before starting Flight Simulator. This little addon utility, in the form of a simple batch file, will bring up a reminder screen, allowing you to close other programs and allowing you time to do so before it starts Flight Simulator. The batch file uses an old MSDOS popup utility from the early 90's (by Robin Latham) which works just fine in Windows XP. This utility may be used in conjunction with Geoffrey Schreiber's fine Splash Screen Randomizer. Tested in Windows XP home edition and FS2004 only.

C-130 Cargo Air Drop FX

File Description:
These FX files allow you to drop a number of palletized cargo loads from the C-130. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to be dropped from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. File Description:
If you ever wanted to land a B737 at the most spectacular airport of the FS 2004 world, try this package. Air India Boeing 777-200ER

File Description:
Air India Boeing 777-200ER for AI Traffic; utilizing FS Painter's new 777v3 series model. This is virtually a full-feature aircraft for AI traffic, and flies very nice as well. Requires the new v3 model base file, available here on AVSIM. This file also contains some fixes for my last wave of repaints; it includes cfg entries for the last six (I forgot to add them), and correct DXT3 format lightmaps for all models, since I included the wrong lightmaps for the first 14 of my repaints (these are all straight from the basepack, but hopefully it will help to have them in one common folder). Model and base textures by FSPainter, et al.

VTOL/Hover gauge for DSB/IRIS' Harrier

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds VTOL & Hover features to the DSB/IRIS Harrier. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover, simular to the implementation of catapult launch / cable arrest in my Carrier Operation Package; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Requires prior installation of the DSB/IRIS Harrier (payware) and FSUIPC (registered or unregistered). The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions. By Rob Barendregt.

Tarom 80s Ilyushin IL-18V

File Description:
Tarom used 14 IL-18 planes in its fleet and they were in service for more than 30 years. This is an IL-18V from the 1970s, registration YR-IMC. After three decades of service, it was preserved near the city of Campina, but it was soon destroyed by hooligans and now the wreck isn't there anymore. I made this repaint as I wanted this great aircraft to fly once again, even if only in FS. The aircraft was made by Pavel Hvatkin in gmax and features full moving parts, opening doors, reflections and night lighting. Repainted by Gergely Kósa. Uses 32-bit textures and includes two texture variations, one with very shiny metallic parts.

Timberline Lodge V1.0

File Description:
Timberline Lodge-gmax version1.0 for FS2004. This scenery focuses on Timberline Lodge (National Historic Landmark) located on Mt. Hood, Oregon and includes a helipad with night lighting effects. On June 11, 1936, at the brutal height of the Great Depression, ground was broken for a project unique in America. Timberline Lodge was built entirely by hand, inside and out, by unemployed craftspeople hired by the Federal Works Projects Administration. The building is a tribute to their skills and a monument to a government which responded not only to the physical needs of its people in a desperate time, but also to the needs of their spirits. Additional scenery elements complied with FS Scenery Creator 1.5

German Airforce Boeing 747-400 V.I.P Transport

File Description:
The Boeing 747 first took to the skies in 1969 and since then, has revolutionized air travel for many decades. In 1989, the Boeing Company of Seattle, WA, introduced the Boeing 747-400. Externally, this aircraft looked almost the same as the ones before. However, under her looks was a brand new aircraft. This aircraft was able to fly higher, further and faster. With over 1200 747s in service, it still is widely used by many airlines around the world up till today. Just over two years ago, on August 9, 2000, one of the world's first, if not the world's first next generation FS747s for Flight Simulator were unleashed, featuring all the latest in eyecandy and FS Technology.
