File Description:
Bering Air Serves 32 Villages in Western Alaska from Hubs in Nome, Kotzebue and Unalakleet, and has been around for 30 years. This is an attempt to create their real world B1900D livery, registration number: N15GA. You must own a copy of PMDG Beechcraft 1900D to use these textures. Although I use FSX, these textures are native to FS9 and can be used with it as well. You will have to modify the configuration text entry to work with FS9, just follow the format used with your other FS9 PMDG B1900D aircraft. As for those using FSX, just copy the text as is, and follow the rest of the instructions.

The "Boo", as it was known, was an excellent cargo lifter, in spite of its ungainly appearance. With outstanding short/rough field capability, it could lift useful loads into almost any airstrip. Caribou production ended in 1973 after 307 had been built, most of which were for military customers. A small number survived in commercial service in 2000 in North America (incl Alaska).Textures only, requires original aircraft by Mike Stone http://www.pmstone.com/

| Beech D18S repaint 6-pack |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
FSX Beech D18S. Six repaints for the Shupe/Thomas/Folkers
Beech D18S, which you must have previously installed in FSX.
I fly the version modified for FSX SP2/ACC by Dave Carroll,
but I'll bet these textures will work with most other Shupe
Beech 18's as well, so give them a try and see! These 18's
are fresh from the restoration shop, sporting new paint in a
variety of colors and a newly remodeled earth tone tan interior,
which will nicely match any exterior paint schemes on these or
any other Shupe Beech 18's you may already have in your hangar.
There are no registration numbers or
corporate/airline/charter/freighter/military markings, so you
are free to add whatever markings you wish in order to customize
your own personal Beech 18. If you enjoy using your 'DXTBmp'
program and your computer's default 'MS Paint' program
(or any paint program you prefer), you can quickly and easily
add your own registration numbers, and other markings,
or whatever else pleases you! Those of you who fly online in
FSX Acceleration could customize your own Beech 18's and have
a fly-in to show them off. Don't feel like finishing the paint
details? That's cool, as you can also fly them as is if you wish,
with no numbers or markings at all, as they look kinda pretty
in just their new paint against a sunny blue sky! Includes a
new shared 'texture' folder, which replaces the original
very blue cabin interior with a new earth tone tan colored interior,
to better match all of your Beech 18's exterior paints. Also includes
an FSX compatible engine smoke effect. Have fun! Easy installation.

| TU-95MS Bear H |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The Russian Air Force 37th Air Army operates the TU-95MS (TU-95M 55 Bear H) from the 182th TBAP unit based in Zavitinsk and 6213 BKHUAT based at Engels Air Base in the Moscow Region. It's use is primarily in maritime operations. She carries cruise missiles even if only used for submarine comms. Her initial design is a competitor with the B-52, but uses 4 Turboprop engines with 8 contra-rotating props. She can fly about as far as, but not as high as the B-52, nor can she fly as fast. She is often monitored off the coast of Alaska and easily met with F-22 Raptors every time. She is also often met by NATO fighters near European borders. Since 45,000 feet is about the highest she can cruise, most fighters can meet her. Her real danger is the cruise missiles which, if launched, have a range more than 1,500 nm and can pinpoint any directed target using GPS ground control. She is normally flown in formations of 3 or more, but sometimes only 2 are observed. She is not designed to fly fast over low terrain, like the B-52, but can do-so if necessary, and dangerously. The aircraft has not seen any major improvements or modifications since the cold war era, and several have crashed due to lack of maintenance. It is currently unknown how many are in service condition. Since much is unknown about this aircraft, yet enough is known to re-create an authentically working model, I have done-so here. Every bit of the aircraft.cfg file and associated .air file has been re-worked to match what known data can offer, and known aerodynamic formulas can equate. The most difficult aspect is the Turboprop aspect, since Turboprop engines do not work like jet engines in any way. Luckily for the simmer, there is no need to adjust feathering or anything like that would be necessary in a normal Turboprop because these engines are self-adjusting. Even though they meet the full known specs of the real engines, I have actually worked all the math to make them actual Turboprop engines (not pseudo-jet engines). That may sound exciting, but you must remember that she is a prop-driven aircraft, and not a jet. Even though you can fly her like a jet, the engines do not adjust like a jet. All aspects have been configured to meet realistic standards, including the MOI factors, weight/balance (including payload positions), gear locations, aircraft dimensions, light positions, engine smoke locations and operations, and weight. I did not simply throw this together, but have been perfecting her for many years. | ELVA / FlyUK Boeing 767 Package Update to v3 |

File Description:
This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 767 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways liveries are also included for Fly UK members to use as well. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details. Patch by Peter Slater, uploaded by Gareth Abbott. Big thanks to those named here. Credited as asked.
