File Description:
This is a repaint of the Lockheed L-188F in Overseas National Airways - ONA 1974 colors. The freeware Lockheed L-188 Electra model by Libardo Guzman is needed for this repaint. ONA operated a total of 12 L-188s, some of them leased, but most of them owned. N281F was purchased from National Airlines in 1968 and ended up being sold to Zantop International Airlines in 1974. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, FS2004, and P3D v1-3.

| Amelia Earhart 1937 World Flight Commemorative |
|
File Description:
The mystery of Amelia Earhart's disappearance in 1937 during her World Flight has never been solved. On 2 July 1937, with 19,000 NM behind her, she left Lae, New Guinea for tiny Howland Island in the central Pacific Ocean, a 2224 NM flight over open water. She and navigator Fred Noonan never arrived. This world flight commemorates their attempted world flight. Three Flight Options are offered and descriptive notes are included. This commemorative is designed to be flown with the excellent FSDB Lockheed L10E Electra, as customized by Dave Bitzer and Norman Hancock. Other aircraft can be used, though with less realism. A recommended reading list is also included.

This was requested by Michael Martinez on the Official Project Airbus Facebook Group.
I would try making more Project Airbus A320 Family liveries that were requested from the Project Airbus Facebook Group. I haven't done one in a while.
I sadly couldn't find any high quality png transparent images of the logo, so I tried tracing it over a Flickr photo that is really high quality.
I also used my own custom font combining "Chamelton 10 Display Regular" font from MyFonts and "Bahnschrift Regular" font from Windows 11 (as one of the default fonts).
If you want to use my custom font, feel free to contact me via email and I'll send it to you, as well as the intent of using it! I would also try updating my website to include all of my "traced over photo" decals from all of my liveries, as well as a few extras from my drive that painters of all simulators and games can use!

| Amelia Earhart's 1937 World Flight Commemorative |
|
File Description:
Here is a set of FS2002 flights to commemorate Amelia Earhart's ill-fated 1937 World Flight. She and Navigator Fred Noonan disappeared on 2 July 1937 on their 2224 nm flight from Lae, New Guinea to Howland Island. They had already completed 19,000 nm. There are two options for flying these flights, a 29-leg version matching Earhart's with leg lengths up to 20 hours or a 107-leg version with an average leg length of one and a half hours. Best to fly this commemorative with the Lockheed Electra L10E, but can be flown by other twin-engine aircraft with less realism. Simple one-step installation. Extensive notes accompany the flight descriptions. Includes scenery for airports not available in FS2002.

|
File Description:
If you have used my T-56 Allison turboprop sound file ("580sound"), this update improves the taxi and idle sounds and adds a beta prop reverse sound when in the aircraft. You need to upload and install 580sound first, then over-write files with those in this update package. All T-56 sounds sampled directly from Reeve Aleutian Airways electras! Courtesy W.C. Schulz and the Cielo Company.

| Mitsubishi F-2A (Beta Model, Version 2) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
F-2A is a Japanese fighter aircraft and it has been developed with the United States based on the General Dynamics (post 1993, Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon. Its blue oceanic flight livery is referred to as "The most beautiful camouflage livery of the world". Its three divited canopy and big-wide wing is the most different part between the F-2 and F-16. This model is only for FS9, you can't use it with FSX. By Team FS KBT.
The Mitsubishi F-2 Fighter is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Lockheed Martin for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, with a 60/40 split in manufacturing between Japan and the USA.
Some differences between the F-2 and the F-16A:
* a 25% larger wing area
* composite materials used to reduce overall weight and radar signature
* longer and wider nose to accommodate a phased-array radar
* larger tailplane
* larger air intake
* three-piece cockpit canopy
* capabilities for four ASM-1 or ASM-2 anti-ship missiles, four AAMs, and additional fuel tanks

File Description:
Smithers is in northwest BC, 60 miles east and a bit north of Terrace (my previous post) and directly east of the southern border of Alaska, 430 miles north of Vancouver on the Yellowhead highway. The town has a population of 5,500 and is set in a north-south valley between mountains, the most impressive of which is Hudson Bay Mountain to the west. The airport is to the north of the town and has a single runway of 7,544 feet, aligned 33-15. The main user is Central Mountain Air, who are headquartered in Smithers and have a large maintenance hangar there next to the terminal building. The airport has scheduled flights by Central Mountain Air, Jazz, and Hawk Air, which are in the AI along with a Lockheed Electra of Conair (who are the largest operator of fire fighting planes in BC and have re-fill tanks in Smithers) and also a HS 748 of Air North, which is actually for an upcoming post of Old Crow CYOC.

| Nomads Travel Club 1998 |
|
File Description:
Nomads Travel Club may be one of the most storied travel clubs in aviation history. Founded in 1961 and based in Detroit(DTW), where the airline had it's own terminal, Nomads Travel Club gave up to 10,000 adventurous members the opportunity to hop on aircraft for elaborate tours across the earth. Initially flying a DC-7C, the airline upgraded to a L-188 Electra, CV-990, 727-100, and finally 727-200 N727M in 1993 which served the club until it's demise in 2011. N727M has traveled to dozens of countries and hundreds of airports, and I was able to find good information about 2 tours flown in 1998 and represented them in these plans. The aircraft spends at least half a day at each destination except for YHZ which is just a Westbound refueling stop. As far as I could find, the airline had no callsign or codes, so I am guessing they used the registration as a callsign. There is a paint for the AIA 727-200 on Avsim as "aib722nomads.zip".Flightplans by Chasen Richardson, based on real tours flown in 1998. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. File Description:
Made in December 2018 as an update of the original post of 2014, to correct the apron markings, revise the AI, increase the number of GA parking spots, and most importantly to correct the runway lighting by adding the missing approach lights. This scenery is complete and can be installed as-is without first installing the 2014 version. Smithers is in northwest BC, 60 miles east and a bit north of Terrace, and directly east of the southern border of Alaska. The town has a population of 5,500 and is set in a north-south valley between mountains, the most impressive of which is Hudson Bay Mountain to the west. The main user is Central Mountain Air, who are headquartered in Smithers and have a large maintenance hangar there next to the terminal building. The airport has scheduled flights by Central Mountain Air, Jazz, and Hawk Air, which are in the AI. The AI provided here is a new CYYD traffic bgl; in total the AI also includes a Dawson Creek traffic bgl (recently revised and posted) plus a Terrace traffic bgl (which will shortly be revised and posted). An Electra of Conair (who are the largest operator of fire fighting planes in BC, and have re-fill tanks in Smithers) is included and also a HS 748 of Air North.
