File Description: Tips and Tricks Number 21 - April 2006 Edition. This issue includes a brief introduction to online flying with a partner, as well as several new ideas to enhance your flying experience. Of special interest is a segment which explains how to make a backup DVD FS2004 installation disk, plus several other useful ideas and links to helpful utilities. Included is the popular "From the E-Mail Bag" department which answers a question of general interest and a section describing an aircraft of Historical interest. There is even a Tip or two to help improve your relationship with the one who thinks you spend far too much time "flying". An updated index, by John Burford, for the entire series, in .pdf format is included. As usual, I have attempted to provide something of value for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Please unzip to a temporary location, using the folders option. Compiled in .pdf format for your flying enjoyment.

New York City Default Bridges and Objects v2.0

File Description:
I originally planned on "fixing" the George Washington Bridge, which was inadvertantly "sunk" by FSG's 38m mesh, and ended up repositioning and scaling a whole bunch of other default bridges and objects within about 50 miles of NYC. This addon was designed and tested for use with FS 9.1, FSG 38m mesh (available here at AVSIM), and Freeflow NE, UT/USA and USA Roads. It should also work with other road and water packages. I did not create any new scenery, I only repositioned default objects to their correct locations. This should be the final version for a while. This version was tested with and adds compatibility for Megascenery NY and Aerosoft's Manhattan scenery. I also removed a few more objects that were placed in the water, and moved back to land a bunch of cranes around KEWR that were in the water. Fixed stuff: All inappropriately placed NYC and Newark bridges (major, not autogen) up to Bear Mountain in the north and south to about the Verrazanno; Belmont Racing track; Shea Stadium; Meadowlands Stadium; World's Fair Tower; US Open Stadium. Added Meadowlands Race track and a few bridges around Newark, moved cranes around KEWR back to land, removed several objects in the water.

Hello Great and Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. It me, Borat with another Borat airline New Info thing. I go to Desert on second trip to USA. I find planes in desert, they very hot when touch. I told that these plane retired from US Airline. I buy seven four seven aircraft for $120. big deal! Even have all four engine! This plane fly from Kazakhstan on one tank gas! No more pour alcohol in fuel tank in mid flight. This file uses the wonderful POSKY 747-200 Version 4 Model. This file includes the textures and model.

Icarus Aerotechnics Factory and fictional Pilatus PC6 Porter

File Description:
FSD Pilatus Porter textures only. This file includes two sets of textures. The first one is the rendition of the F-GMMA Porter's original last paint scheme which was ordered to the French Icarus Aerotechnics Factory, based at Gap-Tallard. The second one is fictitious and has been fitted in order to satisfy American enthusiasts by replacing the aircraft registration to meet FAA requirements. Before installing it, I prompt you to read carefully the included Readme file which will guide you through each step of the process, particularly if you plan to install the American set.

Standard Telephone and Cables Limited Douglas DC-3

File Description:
Corporate owned DC-3 G-AJRY. In October 1962 the aircraft was purchased by the International Telegraph Corporation of the United Kingdom. On 19 November 1962 upon transfer to the UK she was allocated a new identity G-ASDX. The British ARB then noticed that the constructor's number for G-AJRY was the same as this new aircraft and assuming that G-AJRY had returned to the UK gave it that registration instead of G-ASDX! The aircraft worked under a subsidiary company Standard Telephones and Cables Ltd. STC had for many years been a leading supplier of airborne radio equipment to Armed Forces and commercial Airlines world-wide. In June 1970 it was sold to TD Keegan and was operated by Transmeridian Air Cargo. Requires default Douglas DC-3.
