EKKL-Kalundborg Airport X VFR Photo Scenery

File Description:
Kalundborg Airport – named Kaldred is a small regional field in a comfortable distance from my other FOTOREAL airport EKRK-Copenhagen Airport Roskilde. In the period 1964-76, airfield operations was yearly 15.000-20.000, and in 1976 the heavier aircrafts with retractable gear made it necessary to change the Runway surface from grass to asphalt. In 1981, the closure of Skovlunde Airfield in the Greater Copenhagen Area moved traffic to other locations like EKRK-Roskilde, and investments was made to improve service and facilities at EKKL to attract new customers, being a the perfect hub for aircraft operations to many of the small Danish islands. For many years post and News papers were daily transported by road from print in Copenhagen to Kaldred and flown to EKSS-Samsø (my last released airport). Today six Air companies reside in Kaldred, together with Kalundborg Flyveklub. Visit Kaldred, and be sure you will get a warm welcome, and as they say in Kalundborg Flying Club, there are always coffee in the clubhouse. Included in the zip file is a version for Ultimate Terrain Europe and Dan-Vfr plus the Default scenery. Enjoy.

MYER Rock Sound International, Eleuthera Island, Bahamas

File Description:
Googly scenery for Rock Sound International (ICAO: MYER), a grand-sounding but quiet airport located on Eleuthera Island, Bahamas. Eleuthera is a long and thin island east of Nassau and has three commercial airports, the busiest being Governor's Harbour. Rock Sound is at the southern end and is served twice daily by Dash 8 turboprops of Bahamasair, along with occasional flights by operators such as Southern Air Charter. The airport has seen busier days and was once even served from Europe by Alitalia. Microsoft have only provided general aviation facilities at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Airblue Airbus A319-112

File Description:
Virtual Airblue in association with Virtual PIA proudly presents the Project Airbus A319-112 in Airblue colours. Airblue is a Pakistan based LCC that operates throughout the Middle East and to Europe, besides domestic operations. The young airline has fast become the main competitor of national flag carrier PIA. This aircraft, previously operated by Skybus (USA) was acquired by Airblue after the former airline went bust, and has since been operating on a number of local and international routes. This aircraft wears the registration AP-BIF, and is equipped with slim recaro seats that provide maximum comfort and legroom for passengers. The repaint features accurately placed titles and photoreal tail texture adopted from a photograph. The registration appears on top of the right wing and the bottom of the left wing, and an airblue logo appears on the top of the left wing and the bottom of the right one. The Pakistani flag is placed next to the doors as well. Model features accurate dynamics plus 4 opening passenger doors and 2 cargo doors. Model by Project Airbus, repaint by Ahmed Ahsen exclusively from Virtual PIA(VPIA).

File Description: This is a repaint of a Boeing 777-200ER, registration code N776AM, operated by AeroMexico, the flag carrier airline of Mexico, based in Mexico City and operating from Mexico City International Airport. The airline's logo shows the head of an Aztec Eagle Knight (Caballeros Aguilas), warriors who wore feathered helmets including an open beak. The Aztecs organized spectacular ceremonies that included military parades featuring the dance of the Eagle Knights, who leapt as if they were birds ready to take flight. AeroMexico operates flights to 78 destinations across the Americas, Europe and East Asia and currently operates 10 Boeing 777-200ERs. File Description: Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 4). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23MLA, MiG-23MLD, and a what-if had the MiG-23-98 been put in serial production; with 20 models and 82 repaints. Headquartered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, near Jakarta and operates flights to a number of destinations in Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Australia. RAF Barkston Heath - 1944

File Description:
At the time of its construction, RAF Barkston Heath in common with a number of other airfields in the Grantham area had been planned for the RAF's No. 7 Group. In late 1943, Barkston Heath was made available to the United States Army Air Forces Ninth Air Force and designated as USAAF station 483. It was earmarked for basing troop carrier units scheduled to be transferred from Sicily to participate in the forthcoming cross-Channel invasion, Operation "Overlord" American 61 TCG aircraft based at Barkston Heath carried British paratroops on the ill-fated operation Market Garden. The USAAF returned control of the airfield to the Air Ministry in June 1945 when the war in Europe ended. Barkston Heath was used by No 256 Maintenance Unit and No 2 RAF Regiment. Beginning in May 1948., RAF Barkston Heath has the Naval and Army Elements of No. 3 Flying Training School (3 FTS) which, for a period between approximately 1995-2010 operated the Slingsby T67M260 Firefly two-seat trainer. The school now operates the Grob Tutor T1. A secondary role of RAF Barkston Heath is as a Relief Landing Ground for the flying training activities at RAF Cranwell. Source: Wikipedia

Udine Friuli Venezia Giulia Italy N46.3.85 E13.14.19. The city is located in the center of the Friuli region. It is just over 20 km from Slovenia and about 54 km from Austria. This puts it in a strategic position, at the intersection of the East-West European Corridors (Corridor V or Mediterranean) and North-South (Via Iulia Augusta, now recognized by the European Union as part of the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor) , on the way to Austria and to Eastern Europe. It rises in the high plains, around an isolated hill (according to the legend built by Attila to admire the fire that he himself caused to the city of Aquileia, but in reality is formed by conglomeratic rocks more than 100,000 years old), on top of which the castle is located, a few kilometers from the hilly belt, and is bordered by the Cormor torrent to the west and the Torre torrent to the east. Important VFR point for approaching airport Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari (LIPQ) and airporto Udine Boscomantico (LIPD).
