CYKF Version 2.1 Full Package

File Description:
I have now overhauled the CYKF Airport and made it the lively place it is today. I used the Canada Flight Supplement and my real life knowledge of the airport as this is where I do my flight training. --Extended runway 25/07 and added the new taxiway and renamed the others --Changed the landclass for the runway 25/07 extension --Updated the airport in AFCAD for AI to use the runway 25/07 extension --Added 6 AI flightplans to the 3 already there. AI will model real life training and commercial operations of the airport --AI use proper Canadian registration codes --Tested the files to make sure it operates correctly including AI --2.1 Revisions I updated the Traffic_CYKF file to use UTC times instead of local which I did by mistake. The AI will now fly at the proper times. ---**NOTE for those who have version 2.0 a separate upgrade only file is available **---

Camden Field in Trinidad, original and renovated hangars

File Description:
Camden Field is in southwest Trinidad near a town called Couva and the petrochem complex at nearby Point Lisas. This version has the renovated hangar which is how it is now, plus the older version. I have included a landclass file to put in some farm fields and also nearby housing, textures for an AI crop duster plane, (by Marvin Vandeweert) and an AFCAD, and I have finished all the things I didn't get to before, the tanks, the green railings for the control tower, etc. Camden Field was once a wartime American airfield, which shows up in the wide east-west runway that has more recently been partly resurfaced. There are no runway markings beyond a centre line, and it just sort of tapers off at the sides and the eastern end into the bush. There is a renovated hangar to the north of the runway and some older "patched together" buildings to the south which were fun to model.

Boeing 737 700/800/900 Series

File Description:
If you're a keen flight Simmer like myself you strive for realism - you have found the most detailed favourite aircraft in your airline colours - you have downloaded accurate scenery and AFCAD files for your flying area, but when it comes time to fly, the realism is shattered because your aircraft's panel looks 'comic book' or far from the real thing. It is with this in mind that I developed this final version of my previously designed 737 700/800 panel. Although it is hard to accurately position every gauge and function of the real panel into the sim one - because of size constraints I believe this panel is as realistic as is possible. You have the glass 'usuals' HSI, EICAS, FMS, NAv AI TRAFFIC RADAR as well as the stanby 'steam' gauges. I have tried to rework the photoreal panel bitmap with appropriate graphics to achieve shadowing. I hope you enjoy using it.

Funny Farm (4CA2) Brentwood, California Scenery

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Funny Farm Airport, Brentwood, California (4CA2) (Why Funny Farm?) This is part Nine of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above, so if you are familiar with the place then on the ground it probably looks quite different, due to the limited number of buildings available. This scenery includes the Private lake and dwellings to the southwest of the airstrip proper plus extensive landclass alterations to make the small paddocks in the same area. This is a tough place to land neatly in anything past a C172 in calm weather; the runway is only 20 feet wide! Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free: EZ Library is available from http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe and rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

Sanikiluaq CYSK in Hudson Bay, Nunavut, Canada

File Description:
Sanikiluaq is a village 740 or so inhabitants at N56 30, W79, which means in the southern part of Hudson Bay, close to James Bay. The village is at the north end of Flaherty Island, which is the largest of the Belcher Islands. You might fly there from La Grande Riviere in Quebec (200 miles SSE) or maybe from Moosonee in Ontario at the bottom of James Bay (350 miles SSW). Sanikiluaq village does not feature in FS9, so the first thing to do was to add it; it is the right shape and with around the right number of houses on the right streets but as I wasn't going to model 100+ individual houses just think of it as a hand-made auto-generated village. I also had to move the airfield over beside the river, so there is a DELETE file and a GRASS file and a ROADS file, as well as an AFCAD for AI and a scenery file. And AI for a visiting Air Inuit plane.

Grafton District Airport - NSW Australia

File Description:
Grafton District Airport (YGFN) - (For 2002 only)

A delighful small airport approximately 80 nautical miles from Coffs Harbour and a slightly shorter distance to Ballina and Lismore. This makes a good stopover for hopping down the east coast of Australia.

Originally released for FS2004 (and is better in 2004) but adds realism to FS2002 default airport.

The size of the airport has allowed me to put in that extra detail which makes to terminal and surrounds very much "as in real life". Photographic textures are used throughout for the buildings and even the trees are hand made macros from photographs at the airport.

AFCAD file is included to add AI traffic. For that reason and because of limited apron space no static planes have been used. You should obtain Traffic Tools to add more AI traffic to give the airport a little more life.

The scenery concentrates on adding a realistic terminal to the airport whilst leaving much of the default runway detail unchanged.

T.F. Green State Airport - Providence (PVD/KPVD)

File Description:
AFCAD of the KPVD airport. Includes accuarate gate numbering and locations for all airlines serving the airport as well as assigned cargo areas and parking for general aviation aircraft. This is my continuing series of doing airports that have been neglected by both MS and the community. Hopefully this will enhance flying into this airport for those of you that frequent it. Terminal space for this airport is actually slightly better then previous airports I've done but still a bit on the small side, I've had to expand the ramp space from the default since it was shaped wrong. Every gate, however, is present and correctly numbered and airlines assigned to the right gates based on the PVD airport website. Delta, US Airways and Southwest seem to be the dominant carriers to this airport. I will be continuing to do mid sized aiports accross the US and then probably do some updates to my original Central America and Caribbean afcads. Hope this enhances your flying into and out of the beautiful state of Rhode Island.

Metro Oakland Int'l (KOAK) with Active Crosswind Runways

File Description:
A high spec AFCAD2 for the default FS2004 Metro Oakland Int'l Airport (KOAK). This afcad has been built from scratch using FAA Charts, various aerial photographs and information from the Airport Website. All runways feature real life lengths/widths and include overrun areas. All taxiways are named and all aprons are reworked to be as real as possible according to photos. All gates are named and have airlines assigned to them. As per real life, only Southwest Airlines will use Terminal 2, all other airlines being allocated to Terminal 1. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accomodate up to 20 cargo aircraft. The final parking area is random GA parking to the north of the airport. Overflow parking is also available for rush hour periods. This airport now features a tower view and also upgraded night and approach lighting. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, runways 9L/27R, 9R/27L and 11/29 can all be used simultaniously for take-off and landing. Runway 15/33 is closed as it is not used in real life. Wynoochee Lake WA - (Bob's Fly-in Cabin)

Wynoochee Lake WA (Bob's Fishing Cabin) - Airport ID: BOB (FSX). - - This is a fictitious fly-in lodge that I created for a quiet spot to fly into for weekend trips from the Seattle area. My cabin is located about 40 miles due south of Port Angeles, WA and about 50 miles due west of Seattle. - - Wynoochee Lake is a real location, but my scenery around the lake is fictitious. - - You will find my dirt airstrip to be quite challenging, although completely fly-able. My location is even more challenging at dawn or dusk with Weather. There are no approach lights, its just a rugged bush strip. - - It is extra challenging with crash detection turned on - watch out for those birds, they're everywhere and that old tree just of the side of the dirt strip - don't get too close! - - This is freeware. Mumbai (VABB) with Active Crosswind Runways (v3)

File Description:
A high quality AFCAD2 for Chhatrapati Shivaji Int'l Airport, Mumbai, India. This AFCAD file is for the default FS2004 airport and has been built from scratch. The airport has concrete taxiways, remodelled aprons and full night lighting, including approach lights on all runways. All gates and cargo ramps have airline assignments. Using the crosswing runway technique, both runways can be used at the same time for take-offs and landings. Runway 14 features a holding area/turning loop, making aircraft turn arounds easier on that runway. The domestic terminal features 35 aircraft stands, the international terminal has 24 stands (18 for 747 sized aircraft) and the cargo ramp has 9 stands (all capable of holding cargo 747s). If you have lots of traffic flowing through Mumbai, this file will bring your airport to life. New in this release, Taxiways updated slightly to avoid AI jams, and now aircraft landing on runway 14 will no longer halt eastbound takeoff operations by taxying along runway 09 to get to the terminal.
