Belavia-Belarusian Airlines 1999 AI Package

File Description:
Belavia is a former divison of Aeroflot, formed in 1996 after the resolution of the Belarusian Governemnt and has had a similar livery every since. By 1998, the airline had expanded across Europe and Asia to serve several major cities, but had yet to modernize with Western aircraft, still operating Tu-154s, Tu-134s, YAK-40s, and An-24RVs on scheduled services. Since then, the airline has modernized with modern aircraft like the 737, CRJ, and EMB-190. Included are Christian Gold's textures for the TCAI Tu-154M, SBAI Tu-134, and Maxc-Sim YAK-40. Colorized Default Scenery Textures. The title says it all. I added saturation to the default textures to give them a bit more color. Please note that satellite scenery areas such as Amsterdam, O'Hare, Las Vegas etc. will not be colorized, but the rest of the world will. Also, these textures do not affect autogen. Please do not upload these files to any web site other than Avsim.

This is a fictional repaint of a Westland Merlin in a scheme with low viz markings (replacing the former blue and red squadron insignia) typical of current Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) aircraft. It wears the unit badge of 3 Squadron (currently operating UH-1 choppers). These textures are intended for use with the Merlin HC Mk.3 from AlphaSim. Repaint by Frank Safranek.

Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat No. 3 VF-27

File Description:
cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat No. 3 VF-27, USS Princeton, September, 1944. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Ens. Gordon A. Stanley. This Hellcat rests at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, along with the USS Princeton, sunk on October 24, 1944 by a well placed bomb by a lone "Judy." Ens. gordon scored a total of eight kills in this aircraft. Twelve years later (1956), Stanley died in a crash of a F9F-6. By revev. Enjoy!

DC-3 Airways Douglas DC-3 Alternative Bitmaps

File Description:
FS 2002 & 2004. Key replacement textures for the Passenger and Cargo versions of 'DC-3 Airways' liveries found in DCAMAAMP.ZIP and DCAMAAMF.ZIP respectively. Also requires the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM DC-3A available from www.maam.org. Saved in DXT3 format without mipmaps, these textures are designed to replace the original 32-bit images for users seeking to maximise texture refresh rate or who operate slower computers. Image quality, although reduced, remains excellent on most systems.
