File Description: This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of NC91008, a DC-3 that flew with Alaska Airlines between 1948 and its crash in Alaska in 1954. The Museum of Flight in Seattle has DC-3 N138D on display, but painted as NC91008. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang.

The Police of Hamburg operated 3 Bo 105CBS during the 90`s. After "Libelle 3" crashed during a Flight-Training, she were not replaced. This Repaint is a "fictional" Replacement for her. Now the Police of Hamburg operate 2 EC-135 Helicopter. This is Version 2 of that Helicopter.

Douglas XC-47C Amphibian Transport

File Description:
The Douglas XC-47C Amphibian Transport is a free add-on for MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 CD owners. This download requires previous installation of that package before the self-installer will operate. This 1943 prototype was equipped with huge Edo 78 floats with retractable landing gear. It led to a handful of C-47's with field installed pontoons serving in the Pacific and Alaskan theaters. The R4D/DC-3 CD may be obtained from www.maam.org.

Royal Air Cambodge 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
Royal Air Cambodge was about halfway through it's life in 1998, having started in 1994 and closed in 2001. The airline was flying a pair of 737-400s to several of the major Asian port cities within 2-3 hours flying time, while the 3 ATR-72s did domestic flying and served the nearby Asian nations. Though I can not find record of more than 3 ATRs, but the flight schedule calls for 5 aircraft. There are quite a few flights that were unable to be covered by the 3 ATRs, so I wonder if some were leased at the time, but I am unable to confirm this. The planes are segregated, but again they do represent a decent portion of the flights. Links to the OSP ATR-72 and FAIB 737-400 repaints are included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Northern Oman SRTM mesh

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery covers northern of Oman emirate as well as some parts of United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaima, Fujiarah...). The southern and western boundaries are approx 22°N / 54°E. No part of Iran has been included. Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m) and sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m) using Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04". While only tested with Fs2004, this mesh should also run with FS2002. SRTM 3 arcsec dataset has numerous void areas in this part of the world. But thanks to John Child's beautiful and powerful "Blackart" utility it's now easy to patch these areas with lower resolution dataset: I took the coupled interpolation method to merge SRTM 3-arcsec with SRTM 30-arcsec dataset when needed. This gives the best results, as patched areas with 30-arcsec data are blending naturally with surrounding 3-arcsec mesh. Of course the resolution of patched areas is quite poor, but still a bit better than the default LOD5 mesh.
