File Description:
Repaint of the PMDG Boeing 777-200LR in United States Air Force VIP Fleet livery. PMDG Boeing 777-200LR\F Base Package required. Distributed as a .ptp file for easy installation via PMDG Operations Center. Aircraft is themed "Air Force Two" which is the call sign when the Vice President is aboard. Intended to complement the Boeing 757-based C32 fleet, this 777-200LR with 3 auxiliary tanks can take the top US leaders anywhere in the world, in fact, further than Air Force One itself! The Aircraft could likely be used by Vice President, Secretary of State, or other top-ranking officials. Please note, the missing doors, and windows, were carefully chosen based on a Boeing floor plan of a possible military VIP 200LR configuration, I had planned to release this floor plan but have decided not to.

File Description:
This repaint is for the A2A Wings of Power 3 Spitfire MkIIb and represents the Spitfire Mk.Vb BM124 LO-W 602 Sqn (City of Glasgow. Queen Salote, an aircraft flown by Wing Commander Brendan Eamonn Fergus Finucane. Known as Paddy Finucane, he was an Irish Royal Air Force fighter pilot, who was a high scoring Second World War flying ace claiming 26 victories, plus six shared and was the RAF's youngest Wing Commander in its history. He was killed at the age of 21 on 15 July 1942, when he was leading the Hornchurch Wing in a fighter "Ramrod" operation targeting a German army camp at Etaples, France. Photographs show the plane was incorrectly named "Queen Of Salote" but were later altered by scratching out the word "Of" on the negatives in an effort to correct this.

File Description:
Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot (Part 1). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this close air support aircraft. The Su-25, known as the Grach (Rook), was put into service in 1981, was designed as a comparable aircraft to the USAF A-10 Warthog, focused on battlefield close air support. Starting with Afghanistan, the Su-25 proved itself to be an extremely versatile and survivable aircraft, and has been in service ever since. Just over 1,000 were built in various models, and have been or are operated by thirty countries. An original 8-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This is part 1, representing the pre-1990 Su-25 and Su-25UB, in the service of Russian Frontal aviation and early export users; with 8 models and 60 repaints. Aircraft, textures, and flight dynamics by Michael Pearson.

| KMFV - Accomack County Airport - Melfa, Virginia, USA |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Accomack County Airport (IATA: MFV, ICAO: KMFV) is a county-owned public-use airport located 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the central business district of Melfa. The airport was built by the United States Army Air Forces about 1942, and was known as Melfa Flight Strip. It was an emergency landing airfield for military aircraft on training flights. It was closed after World War II, and was turned over for local government use by the War Assets Administration (WAA).
This is a complete re-work of the airport with added taxiways, parking and custom buildings. Created with Airport Design Editor by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects and custom buildings.

File Description:
Douglas DC-6/C-118 Liftmaster for AI Traffic. The DC-6 propliner has enjoyed a 60+ year service span, with around a dozen airframes still in service for cargo work, VIP charter, and aerial firefighting. In conjunction with Jake Burrus, I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this iconic transport aircraft to the flightsim world. This package includes 22 models, 102 repaints, and a Photoshop paint kit. The paints in this package mostly focus on DC-6 use from the 1970s to present day, to include all current in-service aircraft from four operators. I am also including some effects specific to the DC-4 package which were not included in that release file. Aircraft model and master textures by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, flight dynamics and repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
The Douglas C-54 Skymaster was a four-engined transport aircraft used by the United States Army Air Forces in World War II and the Korean War. Like the Douglas C-47 Skytrain, the C-54 Skymaster was derived from a civilian airliner, the Douglas DC-4. Besides transport of cargo, the C-54 also carried presidents, prime ministers, and military staff. Dozens of variants of the C-54 were employed in a wide variety of non-combat roles such as air-sea rescue, scientific and military research, and missile tracking and recovery. During the Berlin Airlift it hauled coal and food supplies to West Berlin. After the Korean War it continued to be used for military and civilian uses by more than 30 countries. This was one of the first aircraft to carry the President of the United States.

File Description:
FS2004 - AI Flight Creator Version 1.7.5
AI Flight Creator is a utility designed to create AI FlightPlans for Microsoft's Flight Simulator FS2004. Built in support for Traffic Tools. The most difficult part of creating a new FlightPlan is to convert local time into GMT (UTC) to have the flights depart on time, both locally and internationally. AI Flight Creator allows you to select any Time Zone in the world, enter a local departure time and it will automatically convert the local time to GMT (UTC) time for your FlightPlan. Also supports Daylight Saving Time (DST). AI Flight Creator also has the ability to filter FlightPlans and display only the Departures or Arrivals for a selected Airport. It can randomly generate Aircraft Registration numbers with a user-defined prefix. Also provides support for Weekly departures and Touch and Go's. You'll need a copy of Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools to compile your new FlightPlans. Version 1.7.5 corrects a problem that can occur when loading flightplans. AI FlightPlan Creator is a companion utility to the AI FlightPlan Utilities package (AIFPE154.zip) available here at Flightsim. The previous version (1.7.4) had 1611 downloads.

| VARIG 1998 |
|
File Description:
In 1998, VARIG was still a huge legacy airline, but routes and frequencies were starting to be cut, which continued into the 2000s until their 2006 demise. MD-11s, DC-10-30s, and 747-300s mostly served long-haul routes such as NGO, NRT, LAX, MIA, JFK, MAD, BCN, LHR, CPH, ect, while the 767s did longer South America routes as well as CUN/MEX/JFK/MCO/MIA as well as flights to Spain and Portugal. VARIG's "around the world" GIG-GRU-JNB-BKK-HKG-BKK-JNB-CPT-GRU-GIG flight was flown with an MD-11 at the time, and I have assigned it to the "World Cup" livery MD-11, which means you will not see the aircraft much in Brazil but it will pop up abroad. VARIG flew many "tag on" flights, like LIM-LAX-NRT/NGO, LHR-CPH, MAD-BCN, MIA-MCO, ect, and there are many, many GIG-GRU and GRU-GIG flights that were part of international routes with no ticket sales in between. Between 0500 and 0700, there are many widebodies making this short flight. The 737-300s flew all over Brazil and to some South American countries. Rio Sul, who did the flights to CGH and SDU, is not included was released seperately on Avsim as "rio_sul_1998.zip". Though VARIG livery 737-300s flew on behalf of Rio Sul, Nordeste and PLUNA, those flights are not included and are included in those respective airlines. An MD-11 and a 737-300 were painted in special colors to celebrate the World Cup, and a 767-200 wore a special Star Alliance livery. The 747-300 in the Star Alliance colors only had them applied to one side of the aircraft and never flew revenue service in that livery, so it is not included. The rest of the fleet wore a mix of the 1997 introduced livery and the 1980s blue and white colors with the silver belly. The entire fleet on the FAIB 737-200, 737-300, 747-300, 767-200 and 767-300,and FSPX MD-11 by Raphael Rodrigues is included. The DC-10-30s on the AIM model by Jason King are on Avsim as "aim_dc1030_varig_pp-vmb_313514.zip" and "aim_dc1030_varig_oldcolors_307373.zip". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | Crossing North America Flight Adventures-Package 3 |
|
File Description:
Inspired by Michael Doherty (Difficult & Dangerous Approaches) and David Dossiere (Hopping Round the World) and their flight adventures, I have put together a series of flight plan-adventures where the aircraft used are all available as freeware. A file locator is included with each package so that you can easily find and download the aircraft used. These packages each contain 10 flight adventures and each package begins at the location the previous package ended. All flightplans are VFR only and are designed so that you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Alaska, Western Canada, Western and Mountain States of the lower 48, and Mexico.
The adventure, Crossing North America, begins at Pt Hope, Alaska and will conclude in the following months at Cancun, Mexico. The aircraft used are: General Aviation, Vintage, Warbirds, Bush Aircraft, and Propliners. No IFR flightplans or jets!
The flightplans are NOT designed to get you from Alaska to Mexico by the shortest route possible, but are in the spirit of David Dossiere's "Hopping Round the World" adventure flights, in that they take you into as many areas or airports as possible. Looking for some fun, flying low, and enjoying the scenery, then these flight adventures are for you.
Todate: 3,769 miles covered, using 26 different aircraft in the first 3 flight packs!
