KMHV Mojave Airport v2.0

File Description:
This remote former World War II desert airfield has developed some very interesting and unusual features. It is a center for civilian aviation R&D, a major aircraft storage and scrap yard (possibly the largest nonmilitary one in the country), a busy film site, and is the home of the National Test Pilot School, the largest civilian test pilot school in the world. Also located here is Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites company, where many innovative aircraft designs have been conceived and constructed. Mojave Airport is also where many commercial carriers store surplus or otherwise in- limbo airliners. There are currently around 90 airplanes waiting to be sold, repaired or reused here, including several 747s. This file has been designed to work on both FS2004 and FS-X platforms.

Radar Altimeter & Digital Airspeed Readout

File Description:
This is a digital readout that shows your AGL altitude (in feet), and your airspeed (in knots). It comes up in a scalable, resizable window. You add it to the aircraft of your choice by copying a few files and doing some minor tweaking of the Panel.cfg file. This was designed mainly for chopper pilots. Your existing altitude and airspeed gauges are fine if you're trying to hold 120 knots at 3000 feet ASL. But what if you're working on your hovering and want to stay between 10 and 15 feet above ground level, or trying to hover taxi at 20 knots and 15 feet AGL? Having this readout handy makes it all possible.

RFDS Road Accident Landing Mission

File Description:
There has been a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) roughly 72nm south of Broken Hill. The Police, Fire brigade, Ambulance and State Emergency Service (SES) are at the accident site. A man is trapped and is being extricated but this will take some time, and he will need further medical help. You need to fly to the scene and land on the road. Have you got what it takes to fly it and maybe save a life? Includes appropriate chart, briefing and debriefing documents, weather, saved flights and scenery. Project Airlift (Aardvark) 757-200 R-R Royal New Zealand Air Force No. 40 Squadron #0

File Description:
In May 2003, the Royal New Zealand Air Force took delivery of a "pre-owned" United 757-200. In a few more months, the RNZAF will take delivery a second (and presumably final) 757-200. They will provide Defence and Government with transport services that were formerly provided by 727-200s. They will be later modified with cargo doors and additional fuel tanks to extend their range and capabilities. This RNZAF paint was provided by Cees Melieste for Project Airlift. The entire file (.mdl + .air) is present, so no need to cut n' paste files and figure out what [fltsim.x] et cetera to use. Get the NZAF AFCADs and the No. 40 flightplans at Avsim.com.

Texas International Airlines Boeing B737-700w

Features DXT3 textures on the winglet Boeing 737-700 from Project Opensky. If Texas International had kept their airline name and not adopted Continental as the permenant name,Continental would have been the airline to fade into the history books. With TI's "New Look" scheme,this is a rendition of what the 737-700 would look like today in that livery.Infact,before the merger,Texas International was in talks with Boeing about orders for the brand new 737-300 that was at that time still in the research and development phase. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Launch Complex 39

File Description:
This is a rebuild of Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 which includes the Vertical Assembly Building (VAB) relocated to its proper location, Photo background, removal of the ficticious Mobile Launch Platforms (MLP's of which there are only three, not five) with the old style Atlas towers, and addition of three realistic MLP's. Orbiter Processing Facilities have been added along with the other LC-39 complex buildings. There is also a heli-pad adjacent to the External Tank recieving wharf where it belongs. All textures used are origional FSX so there are no additional textures to add (the buildings were designed as close a possible to the origionals using what is available in FSX.

SAAB J-35J Draken - RAF Fictional

File Description:
This download contains four new texture files for Alphasim's excellent SAAB J-35 Draken, in fictional RAF liveries. These repaints arose from a pole conducted on an Alphasim forum as to what would have been the best alternative to the English Electric Lightning had it been cancelled by the British Government along with other advanced aircraft in the late 1950's. The winner was the beautiful J-35 and the four textures represent how it might have appeared in No. 92 and No. 111 Squadron colours in the mid 1960's, in a later 1970's camouflage scheme and in a final late 1980's two-tone grey from No. 5 Squadron.
