File Description:
FSX Scenery - Monterey Regional Airport (IATA: MRY, ICAO: KMRY, FAA LID: MRY) is three miles (5 km) southeast of Monterey, in Monterey County, California, USA. It was created in 1936 and was known as the Monterey Peninsula Airport until the board of directors renamed it on September 14, 2011. The airport is owned by the several municipalities that make up the Monterey Peninsula Airport District. It is a public entity and its five-member board of directors is publicly elected. The airport has its origins with flights from the polo field of the Hotel Del Monte in 1910. In 1941, local communities formed the Monterey Peninsula Airport District and acquired land to build an airport. World War II intervened, and the U.S. Navy leased the land, opening Naval Auxiliary Air Station Monterey on May 23, 1943. The Navy remained at the airport until 1972. Barbados is my home island so I've decided to make a photo scenery for it. please understand that am not a professional at scenery but if anyone is willing to help me improve it, am open for it.
Barbados is a sovereign island country in the Lesser Antilles, in the Americas. It is 34 kilometres (21 miles) in length and up to 23 km (14 mi) in width,
covering an area of 432 km2 (167 sq mi). It is situated in the western area of the North Atlantic and 100 km (62 mi) east of the Windward Islands and the Caribbean Sea;[6] therein,
it is about 168 km (104 mi) east of the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and 400 km (250 mi) north-east of Trinidad and Tobago. Barbados is outside of the principal Atlantic hurricane belt.
Its capital is Bridgetown. Barbados is 1,600 mi (2,600 km) Southeast of Miami.

After countless hours of testing and fixing this soundset I have come up with a result that is incredibly smooth, crisp and not to mention in full stereo. These sounds are 100% authentic recreations of the real CFM56-3 counterparts. Every single characteristic sound that the CFM56-3 produces is included in this soundset from the inside and out and I mean it. | DC-3/C-47 Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Sound Set |

This is a scratch built full 3D sound set for Manfred Jahn & Team's wonderful C-47 Skytrain package. While flying the C-47 in the sim I felt there was some room left to improve the engine sounds. And what started as messing around with parameters ended up in me composing an entirely new sound set starring the Pratt & Whitney R-1830.
The sound set attempts to push the boundaries of what is possible in FSX/P3D. If you fly the C-47 in a realistic manner, this sound set will provide a realistic sound environment. No less than 17 samples are used per engine in order to recreate the external sound environment (everything 44,1KHz high quality audio) while making extensive use of sound cones to cover all the angles. In fact this sound set uses source material from 4 real life C-47As.
All of the aforementioned results in a "study level" sound set that hopes to do justice to the real thing.

A realistic head-up display (HUD) for the FSX Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet. The HUD is an enhanced version of the original HUD for the F/A-18 by Scott Printz. The original functionality Scott built into it is preserved, and the following new features are added: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 4) Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD. Gananoque is an ex-RCAF airfield 20 miles east of Kingston and Lake Ontario and 5 miles north of the Thousand Islands area of the St. Lawrence River and the US border. The airfield was a relief landing field for Kingston during WW2 and opened in 1940 with the classic triangle of runways. It closed in 1945 and is now a sky diving centre, still with the original single hangar and control tower. Fuel is no longer sold there so the only reason to pass by is as part of a visit to the Thousand Islands area, or perhaps look at the Canso (Canadian name for the PBY Catalina) which I understand is in the hangar. Unfortunately, when I turned up there was nobody there. The runways and the taxiways and the apron are all still usable but in what can only be called a state of random disrepair. Centre lines and signage are luxuries. I have included a photo with runway headings indicated.
