File Description:
This is a revised post of Chilanko Lodge, which is an airstrip that serves the Lodge of the same name on the beach of One Eye Lake. The lake is close to the eastern side of the Coastal Range, 30 miles south of Nimpo Lake and 30 miles west of Puntzi Mountain, both previous posts. There is also a dock for float planes. The runway is 2,900 feet of gravel aligned 10-28, unlit, and at 2,972 feet above sea level. I remade this scenery as I was not very satisfied with the surrounding terrain, and then there was a reported terrain level problem. It is now better than the first time around, in my opinion anyway. I have posted it as version 2 of Chilanko Lodge CBX3, but I suggest that you add this to your "BC airfields" folder as previously suggested. Up to you. If you find a defect, email me.

| Camden Field in Trinidad, original and renovated hangars |

File Description:
Camden Field is in southwest Trinidad near a town called Couva and the petrochem complex at nearby Point Lisas. This version has the renovated hangar which is how it is now, plus the older version. I have included a landclass file to put in some farm fields and also nearby housing, textures for an AI crop duster plane, (by Marvin Vandeweert) and an AFCAD, and I have finished all the things I didn't get to before, the tanks, the green railings for the control tower, etc. Camden Field was once a wartime American airfield, which shows up in the wide east-west runway that has more recently been partly resurfaced. There are no runway markings beyond a centre line, and it just sort of tapers off at the sides and the eastern end into the bush. There is a renovated hangar to the north of the runway and some older "patched together" buildings to the south which were fun to model.

Paul Field is on the south side of Highway 174, four miles east of Hawkesbury Windover Field and five miles west of the town of Hawkesbury; the town is on the south bank of the Ottawa River approximately midway between Ottawa and Montreal. I first saw the field when I was on the way to Windover a few years ago. I asked some old timers at Windover who the grass strip belonged to and they said "Paul". It may not be what Paul calls it, but it's the only name I know it by. Probably Paul doesn't call it anything, it's just the field where he keeps his plane. There is a grass runway approximately north-south and 2,000 feet long, and two hangars which look to be an old one and a new one. In real life the runway isn't so north-south as it lines up with the farm fields alignment which is of course in FS is auto-generated and not actuality-accurate.

Boulder is situated where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains. Just west of the city are imposing slabs of sedimentary stone tilted up on the foothills, known as Flatirons. Located at the base of the foothills is Boulder's main campus of the University of Colarado which is clearly visible from the sky. Longmont is home of the Denver ARTCC (Air Route Traffic Control Center) which controls all flights in the upper airspace of most of Colorado and parts of adjoining states. To explore the scenery depart from Boulder (KBDU) and head northeast. Extends my Rocky Mountain Park scenery to the east and my Denver scenery to the north. Provides another 3.500 sq km in 4.7m/pix quality. High resolution versions for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_East.html . Thank you for downloading this scenery. This is a major rebuild of Minneapolis/St Paul International airport. All default elements of the main terminal and cargo ramps have been replaced. The Humphrey terminal as well as runway 17/35 have been added. The included AFCAD will activate rwy 17/35 during normal runway 12's/30's ops. When conditions call for rwy 4/22, traffic will really stack up. Also included are 2 bgl files which add the ILS for rwy 35 and changes some of the ground texture and elevation around the airport. All gates are laid out per the MSP website and sat photos.
Version 5 has an all new AFCAD file by AFX with all taxiway signs in place, and all taxiways correctly named. Also parking has been updated to compensate for the Delta/Northwest merger. There are several modifications to the cargo ramps and maintainance areas as well.

Richard I. Bong AFB, Brighton, Wis. Originally designed out in the 1950's as a NORAD Base with the 56th FIG assigned to cover the Milwaukee/Chicago region the Great Lakes. Later it was transferred to SAC as a B-47/KC-97 installations and the 4040th Air Base Squadron taking command of the base. Initial drainage and the runway were laid out and the runway was within 3 days of being poured when the project was cancelled and the base closed. The base later became the Richard Bong State Recreation Area west of Kenosha, Wis. on US-142. The layout of the runway can be seen by satellite. This is the first of two versions of this base, this has the B-47/KC-97 layout, the second (KBRT RI Bong-B-52) will be B-52/KC-135. Both are set-up for the NORAD unit (56th FIG) using F-101 Voodoo aircraft. Check readme for requirements.

Lafayette Louisiana USA Regional Airport for FSX. Several improvements have been made to the default airport. The default terminal building has been replaced with a custom building created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded using Airport Design Editor 1.70.6042; a new airport vehicle network has been built to prevent airport vehicles from entering the taxiways; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; static FedEx and UPS scenery objects have been placed throughout the airport; all taxiway signs are correctly placed and all taxiway designators are correctly named; there is the option to open both runways to AI traffic; the ILS for Runway 4R has been added; optionally, a set of GA flight plans is included using all default FSX aircraft to liven up the GA area; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. Please read the README.txt file to insure proper installation of all files.
