| PASY - Shemya (Eareckson Air Station) - Alaska, USA |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Shemya is pretty well AT the western end of the Aleutian chain of islands in Alaska, around 240 miles west of Amchitka. There is no town on Shemya and the whole island is occupied (and owned) by the Air Force. There are three runways, two of which are from the 1940's and are now unused; in fact one of them has been partly ploughed up and also used for outdoor storage. The single in-use runway is aligned 10-28 and is 10,000 feet of 150 feet wide asphalt with an ils on 28, the runway that is used 99% of the time. The base is now not active but is maintained as a refuelling facility, so for landing and takeoff purposes it is open. The older and now unused areas are those where the hangers are slowly rusting away and the asphalt is turning green with encroaching and well-watered wildlife plants. The tower is now closed, so there is no atc and you just announce your intentions. Read the history of Shemya, a lot happened there.

File Description:
Tel Nof Air Base was founded in July 1939 during the British Mandate as RAF Aqir and served as the main Royal Air Force station in Palestine. It is located near the "city of science" Rehovot in central Israel.
The base is the primary operational and training center for all IDF paratroop forces, as well as the home of Unit

Air Force Command (KAHAM). The ORT Israel - the Administration for Research and Development and Training -
operates the Air Force Industry School at Tel Nof.
In addition to the two operational squadrons on F-15, Tel Nof is home to the MANAT evaluation unit which
conducts flight testing and evaluation of aircraft and weapons systems. This unit is designated as the 601 squadron

| Southeast Airlines 1999 AI Package |
|
File Description:
Southeast Airlines was the late 1998 re-start of Sun Jet International which was a US scheduled carrier that had gone bankrupt in 1997. The airline's livery featured the revival of National Airlines' "Sun King" logo, and the ICAO code and callsign reflected this logo. In contrast to their past, the airline came back as a charter carrier with contracts with tour operators. Most of the charters were between Florida Beach cities or Cruise ports and cities in the Southeast USA. Initially, the airline had a single DC-9-30, but a 2nd was added in July 1999. In 2000, the airline grew and started preforming some sports and private charters and charters to the Western US. MD-80s arrived in 2001, and the airline failed soon after in 2004. Fleet repaints for both DC-9-30s on the AIG model are included. Flightplans and repaints by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. This is a livery I made as a tribute to Philippine Air Lines Flight 158 which crashed in September 12, 1969 when approaching Manila Airport, which killed 45 occupants on board and 2 occupants surviving.
I included 3 PNG images on the Decals folder which you can use to paint to paint any model you like!
I also included an alternative lightmap which features the tail lightmap with the airline's decals. It is inside of the "texture.PI-C1131" folder.
Instructions and more information are included in the readme file.

| USAF Douglas C-124C Air Materiel Command |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124C in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124C for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. Air Materiel Command (AMC), formed in 1946, was headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The USAF's research and development, and logistics were operated separately during World War II. Later in 1946 they were merged, and became the responsibility of the new Air Materiel Command. The command operated until 1961 when the command was redesignated as the Air Force Logistics Command. The AMC were assigned 3 C-124 Squadrons in the 1950s until MATS took the C-124s off the AMC's hands in 1957. This C-124, serial 52-1089, was one of the C-124s that AMC had at their disposal. It was retired from Air Force service in September 1972. It is now preserved at the Warner-Robins Air Force Museum in Georgia. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

File Description:
F4U-4 #315, VMF-322 2nd. Lt. Robert Dahlberg, Midway, 1945. F4U-4 painted over DBolt's F4U-1C. All new texture and damage files. The artwork above the tail code could not be identified from the photo, so a little guess work, and the squadron insignia became the artwork. Enjoy!

These are realistic flightplans for Switzerlands Edelweiss Air for Summer 2006. All flights but the ones to Pristina (PRN) are included, as they don't fit into the existing aircraft.
