| Random Flight Database 3.5.2 |
|
File Description:
Random Flight Database is a simple and easy to use application.

It will allow you to randomly choose one or more VFR, IFR flights according to your criteria (type of plane, flight time, company, distance, departure airport, .....).

These flights are chosen at random from a default database, a user base created by yourself or according to the world aviation POIs.

A default database is already included, but also the possibility for each user to create his own database.

But that's not all, you can also extract the flights of the day for an airport, or extract the flights for a whole week.
Why Use RFD ?
The advantage of RANDOM FLIGHT DATABASE:
Extracted from FlightRadar but also from other databases, it chooses randomly among those where these databases according to your choices.
You can also make many other possible combinations, such as leaving each time from the arrival airport for each flight generated, but also selecting your favorite planes and airports.
Simply choose the departure airport, he chooses the arrival airport for you, choose the arrival airport, he chooses the departure airport for you and all this according to the real data of the airlines.
A tab for generating non-real flights is available, it will allow you to generate random flights from over 58,000 global aviation POIs.

Full of possibilities, including the possibility to choose the flight time but also to generate several flights while leaving the arrival airport.
You also have the option of creating your own data for inclusion in this software.
And one of the most important is that once the flight (s) are generated, you can send them to SIMBRIEF or PFPX to schedule this.

| TCAS and Traffic Display Gauge V2.0 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This TCAS and Traffic Display Gauge Version 2.0 includes significant improvements from V1.0. It has been developed for the FSX Flight Simulator SP1/2 also. It should also work with Acceleration. The functionality for the TCAS part is based on general specs for commercial aircrafts. It does not provide in detail the function for a specific aircraft model. It is a generic gauge, and can be simple added to any aircraft as a standalone popup window.
In addition the gauge provides a AI traffic display in the ranges of 10,20, and 40 miles.Within this display mode, no TCAS rules are valid, which means all AI aircraft are displayed independent of any altitude or distance.
Improvements in V2.0 are: 1: Full TCAS and traffic display capability is provided even though your aircraft is on the ground. Only the trigger of the alarm/warn sound and the blinking lamp display willbe blocked. 2: An AI HDG pointer will be displayed. It shows in which direction the AI is moving. 3: A bearing pointer has been introduced. It allows the pilot to point to a specific AI.4: The AI additional text info display follows the structure of an ATC text.5:The AI additional text can be selected individually per AI with a mouse click.
6: Each AI display contains a ID index number (0 20).7: The design of the TCAS and Traffic Display Box has been updated.8: Increased the number of AIs displayed on the screen in display mode.
For installation and functional description look at the doc inside the ZIp.

| FSDbBuild V1.0.2 for FStarToFS2K (Fully functional Release with Installer) |
|
File Description:
FSDbBuild is a Supplement for FStarToFS2K, it provides the possibility to build or update the Airport/Runway Database as used in FStarToFS2K. This Database is required because the from Jeppesen FliteStar/FliteMap exported Flight plans lack some important information as provided by FliteStar/FliteMap. The exported Flight plans don't provide the Information for the Departure Runway, which is a Requirement in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000/2002/2004/FSX and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D.
In this current Version of the Utility, only the old plain Text-type Airport/Runway Data file - a Relict from Erni Alston's FSBuild 1.3.9 around the Year 2000 or even older - will be created, accompanied by a simple Indexing Mechanism Index file to speed-up the Search. A future Release will create a SQLite Database, which will be implemented also in FStarToFS2K V1.2.0 which will be released within the coming Weeks or Month. In Fact, this Airport/Runway Data file could also be used by Erni Alston's FSBuild, if there are any Users still around of this Flight Planning Software from 2000.
This program evolved from the necessity, that the with FStarToFS2K Program Package supplied Airport/Runway Data file was totally outdated, dating back to 2000 or even older! This shortcoming will now be eliminated, the User has now the possibility to build the Information according to the Data contained in his installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000/2002/2004/FSX or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D according the Scenery Configuration. For Installation and other Information consult the FSDbBuild Readme.txt file in the Zip-file.
Several Issues have been discovered and (hopefully) fixed. The detection of any Flight Simulator (MS FS 2002/2004/FSX or LM P3D V1.x) works now also correctly, also on 64bit machines. If you have the previous Versions of FSDbBuild (V1.0.0 & V1.0.1) installed, you should install now V1.0.2. Please note, this Utility is not only for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it also supports Lockheed Martins Prepar3D V1.x!

File Description:
The Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series PBR Native Conversion for P3DV4 and V5 is a newly updated conversion of the old top-hit freeware add-on aircraft series that is known to the Flight Simulation Community since FS2002, FS2004, and onwards to FSX and has been loved by thousands of Flight-simmers across the world because of its simple-but-great model, and completely free of charge. But with newer flight simulators on the line under the ESP Flight Simulator Type such as Lockheed Martin Prepar3DV4 and V5, the Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series (which was only made for FS9) were slowly falling behind and couldn’t keep up with the current flight simulators today. And now, for the first time in 2022; this newly-updated conversion has surfaced to the public and in the eyes of the flight simulation community. Destined to fly in the current flight simulators of today like Prepar3D V4 and Prepar3D V5, this classic freeware had continued to live on into the new era, bringing nostalgia not only just to those who flown it before in FS2004, but also for a new generation who can relive classic scenes of the Jumbo Jet’s illustrious history through this iconic freeware add-on aircraft series in today’s flight simulator platforms. It finally received an all new makeover! And the permission to convert the models was acquired from the developer who was the mind of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series: Hiroshi Igami. And he gave our conversion team the green light to do so. Leading to this conversion to surface in the public for the first time. Follow the instructions in the Readme txt file. | Boeing 787-8XLR Qantas |
|

File Description:
Qantas is requesting proposals (Dec 2018) for design of an aircraft model or variation that is capable of non-stop flights over 10,000 nm for YSSY to EGLL and/or YPPH to KDFW and return service routes. This model is the best choice for Boeing based on real world data. The Boeing 787-8XLR "Dreamcruiser" will have a maximum range of 13,600 nm at FL450E (Mach .83) which will give her more than the desired capabilities, and will be the very efficient. This model (B788XLR) is based on the current 787-8 using weight modifications to increase the range without adding additional fuel tanks, and designed for luxury/comfort with only 161 paid passengers on board. Everything in this model is realistic to the best of my abilities. If Boeing creates this model, it will likely be very similar to this. The name is my own invention, as are all of the weight characteristics. Based on all of my extensive testing, there is no other aircraft capable of these requirements, to date. The 787-800 is certainly the right choice for Qantas if Boeing decides they will modify the original model to fit these requirements. In reality, there is no such aircraft as a 787-8XLR Dreamcruiser. Not yet, anyway. My data shows the aircraft is capable of long-range non-stop flights over 13,000 nm east or west at Mach .82 and above FL435. However, this can only be done by lowering the empty weight and using the full fuel capabilities designed within the original model. This simple modification cuts the total souls on board down to 176, with 161 paid passengers, 11 flight attendants, and 4 pilots in two shifts. Full fuel can now be used in all long-range flights which is actually not common for most 787-800s in service today (Fuel Managed). Ramp and MTOW remain the same, but because she flies higher than normal, and has less weight, she can cruise much further than any other 787. In reality, this is what the 787 was originally designed to do.

| C-17 Globemaster III/ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. | Graphic Realism and FSX Optimization |
|
File Description:
The add-ons configuration step by step
Not configured FSX is a pain in the neck for many people. A small number of fps and frequent CTD (crash to desktop) can be extremely annoying or even depressing to some users. A lot of you probably came to a conclusion that it was going to be a losing battle and you gave up after a few fruitless days or you spent money on the FSPS-XTREME FSX PC V2 program, which can automatically do practically everything for us. But what's the point of spending money on something that we can do by ourselves with the help of this handbook?
I myself was dealing with the FSX platform three times before I gave up FS9. Microsoft gave out the engine to us, but in order to make sense, our passion involves radical tuning of the device. On the ground of one's own experience and thousands of hours devoted by people to diving into the core of the platform, I'll present a way of installation, add-ons selection and their configuration starting from the installation of the system. Having done the procedures described below, FSX will look beautiful and it'll work smoothly even with challenging sceneries. The entirety is based on quite a popular hardware configuration, which will let us use 85% of the graphic potential of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. We want t to achieve the goal of minimum 25 fps in VC B738 PMDG NGX, with challenging sceneries, flying in the window mode. For the mode the full screen efficiency should reach 33 fps.
In this handbook, I'm neither going to describe each and every change made in cfg nor explain what the alterations are to conduce. You will be given a simple and ready recipe which I use myself. I can't guarantee a 100% satisfaction for the poorer equipment computers. I can assure you, however, that FSX will definitely work so much better and playing with FSX sliders or with the size of textures in REX you will be able to obtain the desired effect.

| 737NG Normal Procedures Non-APU version |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
After some input and ideas from a fellow FS2Crew pilot here is a non-APU version of my flow and checklist to even closer mimic real world OPs the way many big airlines operate in real life every day at big airports around the world where the use of APU is limited to only a short period of time a couple of minutes before engine start. I also (don't I always ;-)) did some other changes and what I think improvements since my last version so give it a try and see what you think! About fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad please set all your margins to 25 mm in WordPad and uncheck the option to print the page numbers. This time I will not ask the AVSIM Library Managers to replace my old version with this one since some of you might still want the version where the APU is used depending on what kind of flights you do and to what kind of airports. Instead this will be uploaded as a new and separate version.
A flow/checklist for flying PMDG's 737NGX with FS2Crew Voice Edition. Did this mainly for my own use meaning the flow/checklist is adjusted for how I do my flying and with the addons I use like Aerosoft AES for example. Please also be aware this is not the kind of flow/checklist that includes all things you need to perform during a normal flight but instead you are expected to already have a general knowledge of both the NGX and FS2Crew. However I thought others might be helped by this too both newbies to get you going with the "flow" using FS2Crew but also for the more experienced users as a simple to print out and use memory note. It's also easy for you to change whatever you like to suit your own needs better since I created it in common rtf format using the standard Wordpad Windows application. I deliberately made it as compressed as possible leaving out stuff like all the answers to the checklists etc so it would fit on a single A4 sheet being easy to print and maybe also laminate if you like. Hope you'll enjoy it!
