File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the FG-1D Corsair by Milviz, in the colors of FG-1D N700G BuNo 88303 is part of the Flying Heritage Museum Collection. The aircraft was built in Akron, Ohio in April 1945. It is a combat veteran having been flown by the Marine aviators of VMF-115 in the southern Philippines in July and August 1945. The Marines were based at Zamboanga and flew close air support and combat air patrols during these months.
The aircraft rode out Typhoon Louise on Okinawa in October 1945 and then rotated through a number of training commands before disposal in 1958.
While under civilian ownership, it was flown at the Flying W, a western themed airpark in New Jersey, exhibited at a museum, and flown off the USS Carl Vinson in August 1995 during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum acquired the Corsair in September 1998. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

| Vietnam Airlines 1998 |
|
File Description:
Vietnam Airlines was the flagship carrier of Southeast Asia in 1998, offering the only longhaul flights in the Vietnam region. The 767-300 was the flagship at the time, serving some major Asian cities as well as Europe and Dubai. A320s did most of the intra-Asia flying while the ATR-72s and Fokker 70s stayed within the Vietnam\Cambodia area. The flightplans called for 1 extra 767 and Fokker 70, and 2 extra ATR-72s which I have segregated in case you wish to delete them. Michael Pearson has done all the paints. I have included a "version 2" or "v2" paint where he has been kind enough to give us 2+ variations for a livery. If you wish, just assign 1 texture to both to save space. I have included the filenames to all the paints in the "Read Me". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson as part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. Follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/flightsim98. File Description:
Royal Air Cambodge was about halfway through it's life in 1998, having started in 1994 and closed in 2001. The airline was flying a pair of 737-400s to several of the major Asian port cities within 2-3 hours flying time, while the 3 ATR-72s did domestic flying and served the nearby Asian nations. Though I can not find record of more than 3 ATRs, but the flight schedule calls for 5 aircraft. There are quite a few flights that were unable to be covered by the 3 ATRs, so I wonder if some were leased at the time, but I am unable to confirm this. The planes are segregated, but again they do represent a decent portion of the flights. Links to the OSP ATR-72 and FAIB 737-400 repaints are included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | Cyprus Airways 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Cyprus Airways had an impressive route network in 1998, however, the vast majority of destinations are served only 1-2x weekly. Still, even with a small fleet, you'll see Cyprus Airways all over Europe and the Middle East, and even in Syria at the time! The airline routed many flights through both PFO and LCA, so there are dozens of weekly flights on the short hop between the two airports. Cyprus Airways was also rather unique at the time by choosing to serve multiple airports in metropolitan areas. For example, in London, Cyprus served LGW, LHR, and STN. In Milan, Cyprus served both MXP and LIN. Cyprus Airways was only operating the A310-200 and A320-200 with no livery variations. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | EGVL - RAF Little Rissington - Gloucestershire, England |
|
File Description:
RAF Little Rissington (ICAO: EGVL) is an RAF aerodrome and former RAF station in Gloucestershire, England. It was once home to the Central Flying School, the Vintage Pair and the Red Arrows.
Built during the 1930s, the station was opened in 1938 and closed in 1994. The married-quarters and main technical site were sold in 1996 (the former becoming the village of Upper Rissington), but the aerodrome has been retained by the Ministry of Defence and remains active along with the southern technical sites, under the operational control of HQ No.2 Flying Training School at RAF Syerston.
It is now home to 637 Volunteer Gliding Squadron as the primary military unit, who provide elementary flying training for Combined Cadet Force and Air Training Corps cadets. The airfield is also used by the forces as a relief landing ground, training area and parachute dropping area. In previous years, the Royal Air Force estate has been used as a film set, including The Avengers, part of the ice chase in Die Another Day, and the Thunderbirds film. Souce: Wikipedia

| Sauze and Val Susa (TO) Italy N45.05.52 E7.20.35 to N45.02.01 E6.50.00 |
|
File Description:
Sauze and Val Susa (TO) Italy Abbey of San Michele della Chiusa, is an architectural complex perched on the summit of the Pirchiriano mountain, at the mouth of the valley of Susa N45.05.52 E7.20.35.
The Fort of Exilles, N45.05.59 E6.56.10 is one of the most important defensive systems in Piedmont. Its position in the middle of a stretch of the high Susa Valley made it a strategic one. Around the Fort were born through the centuries many legends, but perhaps the most famous of all, is that related to a mysterious character the Iron Mask, better described by Alexandre Dumas in the novel of the same name. The village of Sauze d'Oulx N45.02.01 E6.50.00 includes the old alpine village where a large circular hotel built in the 1960's as a holiday center for the FIAT workers in the nearby Turin and higher, the new part formed by villas and hotels. Important VFR points for approching airport airport Torino or Val di Susa.
Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installation. Good fly VFR. Pasquale Marrulli.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

It was sold to D. Gray, Auckland in 1968. It took part in the London to Sydney Air Race in 1969, and remained at Bankstown for a while following the race, during which time Greg Banfield took the third shot below early on the morning of 5 January 1970. ZK-AKU is currently still airworthy and based at Ardmore. It is now painted as "warbird" NZ528, its RNZAF serial during the war.. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave garwood
