Tips and Tricks Number 20 - March 2006 Edition. This issue includes a few Tips that may help solve a couple of common problems as well as several links to very interesting and useful sites. Included is the popular "From the E-Mail Bag" department which answers a question of general interest. New in this issue is a section devoted to an aircraft of historical interest. There is also a Tip which will lead you to some really exceptional AI work. An updated index by John Burford for the entire series in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format is included. As usual, I have attempted to include something of value for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Please unzip to a temporary location using the folders option. Compiled in .pdf format for your flying enjoyment.

These flightplans require the freeware Autopilot/EFIS/Flight Planner software, FSPilot, available here at Avsim (fspilot_142.zip). Both plans take you through valleys and over the top of the mountains to help you appreciate the spectacular scenery of Northern Italy and Southern Austria. Installation instruction contained in the enclosed .pdf document.

The regular "From the E-mail bag" and "Of Historic Interest" segments are included as well as several suggestions for unusual Vacation Destinations - three in South America and one in the Caribbean. When I modified the radio compass for my Vultee panel from the CD3_RR gauge (DC3_Radio_Compass_NH3.cab) from the 1940 panel the in the origional DC3 provided with the full radio range program I forgot to rename it and now my new gauge shows up in there 1940 panel...OOPs! sorry guys. This is only needed if you installed my Vultee panel and want the origional two needle gauge back. The new single needle gauge works fine also.
