FS2004 Scenery - In 1979 the Collings Foundation was founded to support "living history" events involving transportation. Originally founded with the focus of automobiles, the foundation moved to aircraft as the need for quality aviation history exhibits grew. Mansfield Municipal Airport (1B9) serves Mansfield and Bristol County, MA and is owned by the Town Of Mansfield. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 3498 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 122 feet. Created using Instant Scenery by John B. Loney, Jr.

File Description:
The lighthouse-plain.api is the one used in the Grand Lake O12 scenery project. It has a rotating beacon light & lamp. EOD source included. I darkened the lighthouse sides texture from the one shown here. All are re-scaleable without having to redo the EOD. Feel free to modify it.
Beams API set so ya can agl altitude position them inside or over top of other api/objects. There's two kinds; 3 feet wide and 6 feet wide. These range in length of 100 yards (299 feet) to 5200 feet long. They all have a lamp and both beam & lamp rotate horizontal. They all just use the beam.bmp and the beam_LM.bmp Beam_LM.bmp is the only visable texture in the sim. The beam.bmp is the dummy.

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery--Danish VFR Aerodromes. EKAE-Aero, Denmark, is a small island Aerodrome 160 nm from Copenhagen Airport. It lays in the Danish "South Pacific", the area south of Fyn, situated beautifully among many other islands, and only a short flight from Northern Germany. The area attracts every summer many tourists and sailors, with its green and rich nature and miles and miles of white sand beaches, plenty of fishing and leasure opportunities, and accommodations for everyone in the historic cities Marstal and Aroskobing. Aero Aerodrome has a 790x30m grass runway, and is approved for VMC day and VFR night operations. It is operated by a small air taxi company, performing regular taxi route flights to danish destinations and taxi flights abroad to European destinations, hence it is approved as a customs and immigration point for international cross border flights. As many other Danish VFR fields, Aero can be crowded during the summertime, and many people find it a nice place to visit, just watching the traffic on a Sunday afternoon. | Frozen rivers and lakes (and sea) for Alaska's winter |

File Description:
This "freezes" all lakes and rivers (and some sea) for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels; it is meant for low level flying rather than high level jet flights. This edition covers all of Alaska, except for the Aleutian Islands, as the worst area to do this for is a string of islands. Terrible. Fiddly. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the larger inlets along the southern coast do not get frozen too as they stay ice-free in winter. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but anything else would be ...... fiddly. This is really for use with Ultimate Terrain, though it will work without it. But as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place it would be a shame not to be using UT. There is a blurry transition between southern Alaska and Canada so you may need the recent Canada post too.
