Anaktuvuk Pass is a village located 85 miles north of Bettles and just north of the Brooks Range, in a valley that is a route between north and south. The inhabitants are mainly Numamiut, a section of the Inupiat that existed in history (and until today) away from the coastal food supply of fish etc. The current population is around 350. The airport has one gravel runway, aligned 1-19 with PAPI at both ends, and 5,500 feet long as there is no connection to the outside world other than the runway for all necessities that are not available on the tundra. There are two aprons, with light planes and passengers at the northern end of the runway and the Everts cargo flights unloading at the mid runway apron. A note here about my scenery making. There will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes, plus I expect to move on from FS9 at some point during next year.

| FS2004 Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant |

File Description:
As travel by air developed and matured, navigation over long distances also developed and improved. In the early days, however, air navigation essentially used ship navigation techniques adapted for aircraft. Without "landmarks", the navigators used Ded Reckoning (DR) and the stars. Celestial or Astronomical Navigation provides a means of obtaining Lines of Position (LOPs) from the stars. Crossing LOPs will fix a position. It requires a chart, and a planned course on that chart, with waypoints specified by Latitude and Longitude, an assumed time of arrival at each waypoint, and stars (including the Sun, Moon, or planets) in view. In the 1940s, extensive tables of star positions were made available to air navigators to be used with sextants to obtain these LOPs. In the tables, all times involved are GMT. This data is available from the Internet in "ready to use" form. This gauge simulates the sextant, and the process by which one obtains a LOP, or crossing LOPs to obtain a position, or fix. Can be used with any FS2004 aircraft. Includes comprehensive browser-based manual and references.

The 757 has long been on my list of to do's to update. I finally got around to the daunting task of finding all new clips, redoing the whole cfg, and finding a whole new perspective of the 757. With ultra-Realism in mind, Ive created my best work
yet for the narrow body aircraft. You can clearly hear that this set deserves the title of being a Rolls Royce. All files were recorded in full stereo and all exterior files were recorded in very close proximity to give you the most realistic simulation experience possible. The signature of this engine is the mid-spool compression grind. When the thrust of this engine hits 85% you'll gear a nose-grating grind noise that lasts for the rest of the time the engine is at that level or higher. Same for the inside, just to a lesser excent. Recomended for use with the Project Opensky Boeing 757, IFDG v2/v3 Boeing 757 and any other model of the Tupolev Tu204/Tu214 that you can find, as these engines also power that aircraft. Please Enjoy

File Description:
Czech Airlines(abbreviated to CSA) is the national airline of the Czech Republic and one of the world's oldest surviving air carriers. Having been on the Eastern Side of the "Iron Curtain" during the Cold War, the airline historically operated Russian aircraft. However, by 1998, the airline had transitioned to a Western fleet though 4 Tu-154Ms remained solely preforming charters. All long-haul services were provided by the carriers 2 A310-300s, so most routes were only operated a few days per week at most. As many of the repaints included multiple variations, these flightplans were made to suit the variations. If you wish not to use them, simply assign the same paint to both versions. Included is a texture for the TCAI Tu-154M, links to the other required textures by various authors are included. Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk and Chasen Richardson. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas DC-4-1009 ZS-NUR/PH-DDS. This aircraft originally flew with South African Airways from 1946 till 1966, and a short interlude from 1968 till 1970, as ZS-AUA 'Tafelberg'. From 1966 till 1995 the DC-4 flew as a transport and later an electronics warfare aircraft with the South African Air Force, called 'Spook'. Its registration was 6901. In 1995 the aircraft was sold to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd as ZS-NUR. In 1995 the Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) purchased the ZS-NUR, christened 'Skymaster'. The DC-4 arrived at Amsterdam-Schiphol on 5 May 1996. In 1997 she was re-registered PH-DDS. Due to the extremely tight regulations in the Netherlands, the DC-4 returned to South Africa in 2002 as ZS-AUA on long-term lease, first to Springbok Flying Safaris, later on to Rovos Air where she is still current (2008). These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

| Alaska North Slope 4: Lonely Air Force Station (AK71) |

File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Lonely Air Force Station AK71 is 80 miles east of Barrow and on the coast. It was, and at first sight appears still to be, a DEW station until you are close enough to see that the gravel apron is deteriorating. There is a gravel runway around 5,000 feet long, a large hangar, the DEW buildings, radar under the domes, the remains of huge line-of-sight communications reflectors, and oil tanks. Some DEW sites are not worth a visit; others are surprisingly intact and this is one of those. The AI takes place three days a week and is a C130, in which case the DEW site is still functioning or under mothball maintenance, a chartered Reeve Aleutian in which case the site is closed and they are documenting wildlife, and a Cessna with a group of the curious.

This AI-Package has been prepared for the Oberpaffenhofen Airport (EDMO) located in
South-Germany 20 NM west of Munich and contains the following beautiful aircraft:
Dornier Do-27, Do-28, Do-228, Fairchild/Dornier, FD-328 Turboprop and Jet version,
FD-728 (did not go onto production line) and the amphibian Dornier Seastar,
Boeing-707 (AWACS/E3A), Breguet-Atlantic, Dassault/Dornier Alpha-Jet,
Lockheed-P3 Orion, British-Aerospace Canberra B.20, Hawker Sea-Fury, North-American
F-86A, and Bell UH-1D. The corresponding scenery "oberpfaffenhofen-v2.2_fs2004.zip"
is available here at the library.
Most of the planes perform testflights after a long term maintenance in the local
traffic pattern and some of the bigger ones leave IFR (in accordance with
"Instrument Flight Rules") to other airfields per attached flightplan. All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers(see briefing). My part was just to put them together and to generate an almost reasonable AI-Flightplan. Gentlemen, let's take a rest, watching the airplanes and listening to ATC.

Kangiqsualujjuaq is in northern Quebec on the east side of Ungava Bay, and the rocky coastline stretches north from there for 130 miles before turning sharply to head south as the Atlantic shore of Labrador. On this shore and 120 miles almost due east of Kangiqsualujjuaq is Saglek, once a US radar base as part of the DEW line, and then a Canadian base with a Long Range Radar sited 1,200 feet above the airstrip on the top of the vertical cliff. The airstrip is still in use today as an access to the Torngat Mountains Canadian National Park area further north, with organised summer camps and walks etc and helicopter relays from airstrip to campsites. Saglek closes the gap between my post of Kangiqsualujjuaq and the string of airfields further south on the Labrador coast, such as Nain, Davis Inlet, Hopedale, Makkovik, and Postville etc. These have all been made by Flight Ontario and posted along with the Goose Bay Air Base, which also functions as a civil airport.

| SLM Mc Donnell Douglas Super 80 'Dirty' Scheme |

File Description:
Highly detailed and dirty photoreal repaint of CoolSky's Super 80 in Surinam Airways' livery. SLM a small time operator from Surinam, is what you may call a Mc Donnel Douglas operator. Not that they have heaps of these planes, but the ones they do own/have owned are from this once renowned manufacturer. Back in '89 one of their Super 62's crashed while executing an illegal ILS at SMJP killing all, but 11 and if I'm correct -at present time- they only operate a MD-82 on their South American en Miami routes and a 747-206SUD for the Long Hauler to Amsterdam. There's rumors for the aquisition of a second MD-82, but that rumor has been buzzin' around for quite some years now. These are textures only and are intended for use on the Flight1/CoolSky Super 80. This texture must be processed using Flight1's "Text-o-Matic" utility in order to create a new aircraft with this livery on it. I hope you enjoy it...
