Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX NH238 (OO-ARE) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire LF IXc OO-ARE as it looked around 1960 when flying as a target tug with Cogea in Belgium. Originally NH238, it went to the Dutch Air Force in 1946, where it flew as H-60 and H-103. It went to the Belgian Air Force in 1952, becoming SM-36. It was sold to Cogea of Ostend in 1956, and was used as a target tug until 1961 with the registration OO-ARE. It was sold to the UK, becoming G-MKIX. It was dameaged from a ground fuel explosion in Exter in 1961, but restored again. It went to the US in 1969, where it became N238V, returning to the UK again in 1979. It was last flown as NH238/D-A, but it was removed from the registry in 2002. It is rumored to be in storage at Greenham Common. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

Charleroi Brussels South EBCI2022 Early Release Download

File Description:
This is the latest update of the EBCI2016 scenery previously published. It only features default buildings and objects but creates the whole "new" terminal area (north of the runway, since 2008 but not implemented by default on FSX & P3D), and it also features the extension of the runway and additional taxiways as of December 2021. This scenery should work on FSX and P3D all versions. However please be kind reporting any issues you see. It is an early release, allowing you to benefit the new infrastructure and the longer runway. However, expect later in 2022 a fully redesigned scenery, closer to the reality. MAIN FEATURES: - current accurate runway + all taxiways - runway and taxiway lighting according to real life - DME added to the ILS 110.900 IGC - All parking stands at the north (51 to 72 + "far-away" stands + B stands for code D and A340) - parking numbers (may fail to show up sometimes) INSTALL: Put the main folder in your ADDON SCENERY and add it to the library (like most sceneries). Enjoy!

Seldovia PASO in Alaska US Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Seldovia is a small airfield across the Kachemak Bay from Homer, 15 miles to the south. The runway is gravel and without lighting; the runway edges and the apron edges are marked by cones. The runway in real life is aligned 16-34 and is just over 1,800 feet, increased here to 2,200 feet to accomodate FS9 AI plane capabilities. The video is one of a series that are well worth watching and this one demonstrates the technique of short field landing and take off. There is AI, with flights between Homer and Seldovia. I should mention here that the I can only make scenery to fit into my version of FS9, and probably your version is not exactly the same. Also, you may not have the planes that I have used for AI. Unfortunately I cannot cater for something I do not have myself. Homer PAHO will follow on from this post. If you find an error email me please, and note that my email address has been changed to rogwens at Gmail dot com.

Yamamoto Shootdown by Lockheed P-38G with AI Aircraft and Scenery Download

File Description:
Re-Upload. This package provides a new P-38G modified specifically for recreating the mission that resulted in the interception and shootdown of Admiral Yamamoto over Bougainville Island in 1943 in accord with available documentation (links provided). The panel, mixture controls, capacity of the external tanks and the flight dynamics have been tailored to provide accurate power settings and performance to closely match the historical flight. Included are detailed documentation of the new aircraft, and the P-38 fuel settings used by the Army Air Corps before Charles Lindbergh suggested a "correction" in 1944 which greatly improved cruise fuel efficiency. To add to the realism, also included are AI aircraft (Zeros, Bettys, SBDs and C-47s) from CFS2. New airports, scenery, and extensive scenario documentation to help the simulator pilot successfully "intercept" and "shoot down" the Admiral's Mitsubishi G4M 'Betty' are provided by experienced real world fighter pilot and Adversary Instructor Jim Daigneau, who also provided overall technical support and mission testing. David C. Copley's outstanding P-38G has been modified as described above and is included, with his permission.

KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM, on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. This DC-4 and the sistership PH-TAP were the only DC-4/C-54's that wore this short-lived livery. From PH-TAR on KLM's DC-4's (and Skymasters) featured the famous 'The Flying Dutchman' livery. As PH-TAT, PJ-TAT and PH-DBT this aircraft served KLM in Europe and the Dutch West Indies until it was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

OPDB Dalbandin, Pakistan Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for OPDB Dalbandin, Pakistan - a quiet domestic airport for which no operational facilities are provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add/correct the runways, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport appears to be served all of once per week by ATRs of Pakistan International Airways so will hardly buzz with activity, but you will be assured of a friendly welcome when you arrive. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. VAAH Ahmedabad International, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VAAH Ahmedabad International, India - an enhancement to the airport provided in Flight Simulator 2004 which is incorrect in many respects. These scenery files correct and improve the terminal location, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served by aircraft as large as Jumbo Jets from a range of domestic and international Indian airline operators, together with flights from other countries' airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Singapore Airlines. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru - a small domestic airport for which nothing more than a runway is provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add the apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served daily by domestic operator L C Busre and perhaps also others using small aircraft, but little information has been found on activity in this area. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. Cape Dorset CYTE, Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Cape Dorset is a village of 1,300 or so inhabitants at N 64 13 W 76 31 on Dorset Island, off the southwest corner of Baffin Island. It's Inuit name is Kinngait, which means "High Mountains"; watch out if you fly there in low clouds. The village (again) does not feature in FS9 but is included in this scenery with approximately the right shape, or shapes as there are separate parts. The airfield runway is just under 4,000 feet of gravel 100 feet wide at 158 feet above sea level. There is a double gradient to it, but unfortunately this cannot be replicated in FS.

Cape Dorset had a Hudson Bay Company store as long ago as 1913, and is now known as a centre for Inuit art. I added the roads, a new airfield background, a pond between apron and runway, plus of course there is the scenery file and the AFCAD and AI, which has two planes visiting, a First Air HS748 and a Canadian North Dash 8-100, as per real life.
