Airbus A350, British Airways, for FSX, Demoversion, The A350 XWB (Xtra Wide-Body) is Airbus response to market demand for a medium capacity long range wide-body family. Designed with airlines priorities in mind, the A350 XWB confronts the challenges of high fuel prices, rising passenger expectations and increasing environmental concerns.
Available from 2013, it has an entirely new, uncompromised, 21st Century design with a wider and taller fuselage for extra space and passenger comfort. A complete family of airliners sized to generate cost reductions and provide unprecedented operating flexibility for airlines; three basic passenger versions are being offered. With a range of up to 8,300nm/15,380km they include the A350-800 for 270 passengers in a spacious three-class configuration; the A350-900 for 314 passengers and the A350-1000 seating 350 passengers. An ultra long-range version, the A350 - 900R, will fly even further while a freighter version, the A350 - 900F, will complement the passenger models.
As befits the most advanced aircraft family in its segment, the A350 XWB is able to provide greater economy on long-range markets and is equally attractive as a route opener or as part of a multi-type Airbus fleet offering optimized network solutions. Thanks to the application of the latest innovations, the A350 XWB is able to offer 20 per cent lower cash operating costs per seat than competing aircraft in this size category and fuel efficiency improvements of up to 25 per cent per seat.
The fly-by-wire A350 XWB Family is a significant addition to the Airbus product range. A member of the Airbus FBW Family of aircraft, it benefits from the same operational commonality as the other members of the Family. This handling and flight deck commonality allows airlines to benefit from the unique Airbus Family concept of cross crew qualification and mixed fleet flying, and will ensure smooth introduction into service.

This folder contains a repaint for the Bleriot XI by Wings42 in the colors of Bleriot XI-2 Britannia. The third Bleriot XI imported into New Zealand, it was a two seater presented by the Imperial Air Fleet committee to the New Zealand government. The committee's aim was to promote the development of aviation in the British empire, and the presentation was intended to stimulate military aviation in New Zealand. The aircraft was a proven one, having been flown 347km non-stop from Dover to Cologne by Gustav Hamel in 4 hours 18 minutes on April 17, 1913. The aircraft was dubbed "Britannia' at a ceremony at Hendon on May 22, and Hamel then took former New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Joseph Ward for a short flight. The committee was composed primarily of London businessmen and Sir Joseph was the deputy-Chairman. The aircraft was paid for by public subscription and was valued for insurance purposes at 1400 pounds. The aircraft was disassembled and shipped to New Zealand aboard the Athenic. The aircraft arrived in Wellington on September 29, 1913, where it was discovered that the propeller was not in the shipment. This was soon shipped to New Zealand. In the meantime the aircraft was stored in a purpose built shed at the Buckle street Defence stores. In late 1913 Joseph 'Joe' Hammond had been appointed official Government pilot.
Mr Hammond suggested flying the aircraft to Auckland for display at an Exhibition. However the aircraft was railed north and was assembled in Auckland on January 14, 1914. On January 17, 1914 Mr Hammond made his first flight in the aircraft from the Epsom showgrounds. The following day he completed an hour long flight over Auckland at low level. A flight on the 19th with a journalist as passenger was aborted during takeoff when Hammond found he had no rudder control. Repairs were made and the aircraft flown again on January 24th. Another flight with a passenger then took place. Rather than a member of the media or any of the officials present Hammond chose to take Miss Esme McLalland as passenger. Miss McLalland was a member of the touring Royal Pantomime Company which was performing in Auckland, and the choice failed to impress the officials - Joe Hammonds employment as official pilot was terminated. The aircraft remained on static display for the remainder of the Exhibition and was returned to Wellington at the end of April 1914. Without a pilot (there were several Army Officers training in England - 2nd Lt. A. Piper and 2nd Lt. W. Burn) any official role for the aircraft (and officials did not seem to know what to do with it), it was placed in storage at the Mt Cook barracks in Wellington. Soon after, a report by General Hamilton, the Imperial Inspector of Overseas Forces discouraged further aviation development. With the outbreak of war an offer was made to send the aircraft with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. It was shipped back to England, departing on the Arawa on October 16. It was unloaded in London on January 15, 1915 and and went from there to Brooklands where it is believed to have been used as a trainer. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom

File Description:
This is a COMBINED Descartes Landing site and Descartes Enhancement Pack for the new NASSP (v3.0) and the new ORBITER (021202). It also includes Vinka's updated (for 021202) Generic Spacecraft DLL Module so that the "independent" Lunar EVA implementation would work. It also includes YesRushGen's Apollo 16 scenarios which depict the Apollo 16 mission in various stages during the mission.
Everything found in Descartes Landing Site and DEP add-ons are included, along with a new Lunar Rover that has both the CMDR and LMP on board when pressing "V" after the NASSP EVA key is pressed. However, due to an inexplicable bug, I decided not to include the detailed SIMBAY EVA astronaut mesh, because Orbiter kept on crashing whenever I perform EVA on BOTH the LM and the CSM.
Furthermore, although the LM now sports the bronze-like coloring of the J-Mission Advanced LMs (from inside the SIVB booster until separation of ascent stage), I had to remove the enhancements like the hanging MESA and the LRV from the Descent Stage because it caused inexplicable Orbiter crashes too. But I hope you like the new LM color which is now consistent during the course of the entire mission (in the DEP add-on, it was still aluminum/grey when docked to the CSM and only turned bronze when undocked).
Finally, I added a NAV/ADF beacon to the landing site, so that if you press SHIFT-C and tune to 109.10, then press SHIFT-L, your landing display will show your position with respect to the landing site, provided you are within 500 kilometers.

| DDA Douglas C-54A-DC ZS-IPR |

File Description:
FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas C-54A-DC ZS-IPR. This aircraft was built a C-54A-5-DO Skymaster at Santa Monica, CA, for the USAAF. After WW2 struck off and converted to DC-4 standard. Having served various civil and military operators in the USA, Philippines, Thailand, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia from 1946 till 1981, the C-54A was bought by the South African Air Force on 23 April 1981 as 6906 in order to replace DC-4 6903. In 6906 was sold 1995 to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd. as ZS-IPR. Then bought in November 1996
by the Dutch Dakota Association for spares for its DC-4 PH-DDS. At that time it was the 3rd oldest airworthy C-54/DC-4. The white and blue 'livery' was only meant to ferry the aircraft safely over the troubled continent of Africa. It was kind of improvisation as at the moment the DDA people arrived in South Africa to collect the plane, it was still in the camouflage colours
of South Africa which isn't very practical if you have to fly across warzones. On 4 June 1997 this 'bunch of spares flying in perfect formation' arrived at Schiphol, where it was stored and dismantled. Since PH-DDS returned to South Africa, the C-54A is on display from 2003 as NGAT's
NL-316 at the Aviodrome, Lelystad. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip) and Douglas DC-4 and C-54 freighters V2.1 (dc4cgv21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

Red Lake is in Ontario, 90 miles east of the Manitoba border & 120 miles north of the US border. The town is at what was the northern end of "the road" for many years, & this has led to it becoming a centre for floatplane flights north to fishing lodges etc. It has also become THE centre of Noorduyn Norseman floatplanes in Canada & there is a Norseman on display & an annual Norseman festival. Red Lake CYRL airport is 3 miles north of the town with 5,000 feet of asphalt runway aligned 08-26 with PAPI at both ends. The apron is in two parts; the western for the fire fighting planes & the eastern for the new terminal & the hangars for North Star, Superior, and Wasaya. There is also a scruffy hangar that is used for storage & to the south of the east apron some private hangars. The town & the float base (CKS4) are at the southern end of Howey Bay. Planes taxi north before going to full power for take off, & there are two main companies based at CKS4, Chimo & Green's, both of them using Norsemans (or Norsemen?) among other planes. Chimo service their fishing lodge & outposts in the Roderick Lake area, & Green's (who have a base on the west side of Howey Bay) service their own outposts on Trout Lake & Nungesser Lake in the AI. There are other Red Lake float operations using Norsemans from further north on the lake & they service fishing lodges in the AI on Peisk Lake and Uchi Lake. The AI also includes some GA float planes, & there are numerous GA & scheduled flights into CYRL.

File Description:
This scenery is a homage to the great military airport of Cameri NO, Italy; it has been revised with complete new ground that solves the previous flickering problems; it is builded-up with ownmade GMax objects and other existing ones; some buildings by GMax, remainder by others and by Generic Building system.
Information: Built during 1910 close to Novara, it became a prestigious Flight School where a lot of pilots of WWI where trained. Later, Gabardini/CANSA entered by promoting and developing aviation activities, mainly establishing a military flight school. On 27th July 1914, first of story's time, a flight from Cameri crossed the Alps (Camery - Viege, over Monte Rosa) with a Gabardini 80HP aircraft and pilot Achille Landini together with Giuseppe Lampugnani passenger. On 1930 the school closed, but the field still remained as aviation workshop. During the WWII the airport was quite destroyed by the german army, during their retreat. After the war, the rebuild operations carried on to Cameri several details, of which the acrobatic patrol of "Lancieri Neri" and, 1967-1999, the great 53th "Stormo Caccia". On 1998 the storm was moved to Gioia del Colle airport and the base was restructured as Comand Airport, where some technical departments still works (the 453th Operative Technical Services Group, the 553th Logistic Operative Services Group and, mainly the 1st Aircrafts Maintenance Dep.nt)
Contents: all around new great terrain for about 4.5 x 3.5 km; static aircraft inside hangar as Tornado, Eurofighter and historic monoliths at admittance and inside airport; ground equipments, cars outside and inside airport, bus, tankers, emergency trucks; military shelters (10) and workshop ones (5); buildings outside/inside airport, control tower, VOR, radar tower and some other navaids; lights at hangars, admittance and all over the boundaries; more then 10 km boundary by walls and fences of the complete areas; thousands trees all over the scenery. AIFlow v1.1 is a simconnect utility designed to ease AI congestion and go-arounds at the airport the user is departing from and arriving at. AIFlow does this by enforcing spacing minimums between arriving AI aircraft resulting in more orderly arrival patterns. AIFlow also supports spacing spacing minimums between the AI aircraft and the USER’s aircraft when the user is flying (during all phases of the user's flight). For added realism, AIFlow adds landing effects (e.g., micro bank and pitch corrections that scale up during crosswind conditions) to the AI on short final approach. The user can also briefly squawk 1234 in their aircraft to temporarily suspend landings so that the user can find a slot to depart a busy runway. AIFlow is designed to compliment the default P3D AI program and thus is fully compatible with any AI-related program that is compatible with the default AI program (e.g., AIG, Ultimate Traffic Live, Radar Contact, etc.). AIFlow is targeted to Prepar3D version 4.5 or 5.0, specifically SimConnect Version 4.5.0.0 or later. AIFlow operates externally via simconnect and thus makes no changes to the P3D sim. NEW for v1.1: (1) detect and correct AI performing poor approaches (e.g., dive-bombing, descent into terrain) under control of the P3D AI engine, (2) user can specify minimum and maximum AI approach speeds in terminal area, (3) prevent AI from stopping on runway when user landing, (4) AI plane spotting mode only, (5) external database fallback in case simconnect fails to provide local airport data, (6) adjustable in-sim message level, (7) periodic read of .ini file to tweak parameters more easily, (8) AIFlow starts minimized. FIXES for v1.1 include: sequencing in heavy AI traffic would sometimes cause excessive go-arounds, going around AI would sometimes improperly hold, changing AI spacing from default value did not have any effect, sometimes user aircraft would get controlled, .ini file would sometimes get confused reading parameter values having whites spaces.

The VC-25A is a modified Boeing 747-200F used as a dignitary transport by the Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base (KADF), Maryland. There are two twin sister aircraft with tail numbers 28000 and 29000. Both are used by the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) and as a dignitary transport for high level personnel for special missions. When carrying the President, the call-sign is “Air Force Oneâ€, but otherwise uses a variety of call-signs when the President is not on-board. Each sister aircraft is nearly identical to the other, with all of the same accommodations. One can fly as a “Mask†when the President is on-board the other.
The aircraft is modified with many secret aspects, and is heavier at Empty Weight than a normal 747-200F because of this. However, she normally only carries 102 souls on board with enough supplies to last for any long range flight, so she operates at a lower weight than the normal 747-200F. Due to the fortifications employed within the design, her MTOW is lower, as well. The engines are a bit more powerful than normal, and have better fuel efficiency. She has specialized equipment on-board for communications, a weather/recon radar dome (not shown in this paint scheme), and missile/aircraft countermeasures if needed. The interior is almost silent due to the high pressure cabin structure and fortified frame, including bullet-proof windows.
With all of the above, she is still the most powerful, efficient, and the fastest 747 ever built.

AIGround is a simconnect utility designed to improve AI taxi characteristics at the airport the user’s aircraft is located at. AIGround holds the AI stationary on the tarmac after pushback for a more realistic amount of time before the AI begins its taxi out and optionally performs an extended pushback including more realistically turning the AI toward the apron. The AI will also perform control surface checks as the AI begin their taxi out. Finally, AIGround enforces better spacing between AI and the user’s aircraft when the user is performing a taxi-out or taxi-in. AIGround does this by commanding the AI to temporarily stop in situations that the normal P3D AI control program would miss. In situations where the user might want the AI to pass (e.g., giving way at an intersection), the user can flash the landing lights on the user’s aircraft (on, then quickly off) as a signal to the AI to continue the taxi. AIGround also allows the user to adjust AI landing and takeoff lengths. AIGround is designed to compliment the default P3D AI program and thus is fully compatible with any AI-related program that is compatible with the default AI program (e.g., AIG, Ultimate Traffic Live, Radar Contact, etc.). AIGround is also compatible with the AIFlow simconnect utility. AIGround is targeted to SimConnect Version 4.5.0.0 or later. AIGround operates externally via simconnect and thus makes no changes to the P3D sim.
