This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-20-NA 44-63736 WD-M, which was the aircraft flown by Lt George Green of the 335th FS/ 4th FG on 18 march 1945 during a mission to Berlin. While the 335th was strafing Prenslau Aerodrome, Green's CO, major Pierce McKennon, was hit by flak and had to bail out. Green landed in the field where McKennon had come down with his parachute, threw out his parachute, and the two of them squeezed into the small Mustang cockpit, Green sitting on McKennon's lap. While the rest of the squadron kept the Germans at a distance, Green managed to get 'Suzon' airborne again with centimeters to spare. They flew the 600 miles back to the UK, sharing an oxygen mask. Green was promoted to Captain by a grateful CO. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

This is a repaint for the A2A Mustang of Gunfighter, N5428V. Gunfighter is based in Council Bluffs, IA and operated by the Commemorative Air Force. It spends a lot of time touring with B-29 Superfortress FIFI on the Air Power History Tour as well as doing airshow exhibition flying. Repaint by Curt Lewis

This is a repaint for the A2A P-51D Mustang in the colors of 'Toulouse Nuts' which in real life is a TF51 Mustang that is very active as a ride aircraft with the Collings Foundation and their Wings of Freedom tour. This was only tested in the Civilian version of the Mustang but should work just fine in the Military version as well. Repaint by Curt Lewis

Served with 78 Sqn, on 3/8/43 it was received by 78 Sqn from 2 AD and coded HU-Z and during the Jan or Feb 1944 it had "Come In Suckers" painted on the lower cowl, on 11/4/44 it was received back at 78 Sqn after an engine change through 11 RSU, on 25/4/44 while landing at Tadji airstrip its port undercarriage collapsed and it stood up on its nose flipped over and burst into flames fortunately F/Sgt James Denman Harvey (418408) was uninjured, on 26/6/44 approval to convert to components was given, please note this is a repaint of a P40N on a P40B model.

File Description:
A repaint only for the payware Warbirdsim product 'Mustang Tales'. This repaint depicts the restored P-51D-25-NT 45-11391, "Boo-Man Choo", registered N51MV. This aircraft has a long civilian history, having been first registered with the FAA in 1963. In the 1990's, this aircraft became a popular sight when owned by Wally Sanders and painted as "Nervous Energy IV", and could sometimes be seen flown by the late, great Jeff Ethell. In the years since, the aircraft has passed through several owners, though the same over-all paint scheme has remained. In 2005, the aircraft's name was changed to "Luscious Lisa". In 2008, not long after having switched hands, the aircraft was damaged in a hard landing. For the next four years the aircraft was repaired and rebuilt, flying again in May 2012. The aircraft's most recent owner is Col. Ray Hofman, who now bases the aircraft in Midland, TX. The aircraft is now named "Boo-Man Choo", which is derived from the nickname of Col. Hofman's son, "Boo-Man". The nose art was inspired by the nurse character from the animated cartoon Animaniacs. This repaint features new bump maps, wheel well, gun bay, and cockpit textures.

This is just a livery file and can be installed using the PMDG Livery Manager. It will load as a -600 in the Livery Manager but show up as a -500 in FSX. Enjoy!

File Description:
The P.212.03 was Blohm und Voss entry into the Emergency Fighter Competition to take advantage of the new He S 011 jet engine. Three prototypes were ordered and construction began in May 1945. The first aircraft was to make its first flight in August and the second aircraft was to be ready by September 1945. Of course, the end of the war ended all construction. Features: realistic Flight Dynamics, realistic Sound and Panel, realistic Damage Profile, full moving parts, two liveries: Green Camo and Air Grey. Model, Textures and Damage Profile by CM Carlson. Cycle 0603 PMDG SIDSTAR file by Terry Yingling revised 3/22/2006 by Dan Downs for KHOU Houston William P Hobby. The controllers at Houston are creative. There is a BLUBELL STAR that goes over the Bluebell Ice Cream creamry, with fixes at COWZZ and SNDAY. Houston Texan football fans are aware thay they have a new COACH, and are hoping for more TCHDN and fewer FMBLE from their QTRBK named CARRR. Basketball fans cheer for the ROKIT team, and love it when they SSLAM DUUNK. All SID, STAR and ILS procedures edited as required to comply with current charts. SIDS have initial tracks off of runway and vectors command to eliminate discontinuities. Constraints added to BLUBL2 DAS6 HOAGI1 LISSE6 MHF1(change MEAs to STAR constraints), DAS6 HOAGI1 RIICE1 ROKIT7 STAR routes for KHOU added, adjusted transition routes between BILEE and RIICE to conform with STAR instructions. Added TEXXN3.12R and TEXXN3.04 to provide direct RNAV to IAFs for rwys 12R/4 per note on chart. Minor adjustments to ILS 4/12R/30L, including set hard constraint at GS intercept.

File Description:
This pack contains two repaints for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, one depicting L2-V "pin up girl' as flown by Lt. John C. Donnell Jr and , 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, and the other depicting N514DK, which is owned by DK Warbirds Inc of Las Vegas. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík.
