This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-20-NA 44-63736 WD-M, which was the aircraft flown by Lt George Green of the 335th FS/ 4th FG on 18 march 1945 during a mission to Berlin. While the 335th was strafing Prenslau Aerodrome, Green's CO, major Pierce McKennon, was hit by flak and had to bail out. Green landed in the field where McKennon had come down with his parachute, threw out his parachute, and the two of them squeezed into the small Mustang cockpit, Green sitting on McKennon's lap. While the rest of the squadron kept the Germans at a distance, Green managed to get 'Suzon' airborne again with centimeters to spare. They flew the 600 miles back to the UK, sharing an oxygen mask. Green was promoted to Captain by a grateful CO. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-30 44-19726 #83 "Wee Three" of the 316th FS, 324th FG, 9th AF. The name came from its first pilot, who was married and had a small child, hence the "Wee Three". After he finished his tour, the aircraft was re-assigned to Lt John Jasper Yowell jr. On 19 march 1945, while on his 65th mission, to Pforzheim, the squadron was ambushed by a flight of Me-109's. His wingman, John Haun, shot down one Me-109, but Lt Yowell was hit by enemy fire and forced to bail out. Unfortunately, his parachute didn't open. He was found and buried in his parachute by French labourers. After the war, he was reinterred at Arlington National Cemetery. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-30-RA 44-33252 #27 "Ole Baldy"as flown by Capt John Batten of the 525th FS, 86th FG, Italy 1944-45. When he was still a lieutenant, Capt was already suffering from a receding hairline, so naturally his squadron mates called him "Baldy". When he was promoted to captain, this became "Ole Baldy". Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LG-P) "Sweet Dish" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 44-6596 LG-P "Sweet Dish" of the 322nd BS/ 91st BG based in Bassingbourne UK. She arrived in Bassingbourne on the 4th of November 1944 and flew her first mission 5 days later, after which she was assigned to Lt Bob Roach and his crew. He suggested naming her Sweet Dish, after his wife, who was known to the crew. Tony Starcer painted her portrait, based on a pocket photograph. By war's end, she would have completed 46 missions by the war's end, including 24 flown by BoB Roach. Her hairiest mission was to Berlin on 5 december. Flak knocked out no.1 engine and set fire to no.2. During the dive to eliminate the fire, the engineer bailed out, and the navigator and bomb aimer followed him. The fire was extinguished however, and 'Sweet Dish' flew home on two engines. They counted 365 holes in the ship next day, and it took until the end of december to get her in the air again. At the end of the war, she took a group of ground crew on a flight over the damaged cities of Germany, so that they too could see the effect of their work, and in may she helped repatriate released PoW's. In june 1945, she flew back to the States, where she was scrapped at Kingman, Arizona in december 1945.

This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-30-RE 44-20866 #53 "Schmaltzie / Mercedes" was flown by Lt. Frank 'Duffy' Middleton of the 57th FG/65th FS from Alto airbase on Corsica in 1944-45, mainly over northern Italy as part of Operation Strangle. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

This is a repaint for the A2A P-51D Mustang in the colors of 'Toulouse Nuts' which in real life is a TF51 Mustang that is very active as a ride aircraft with the Collings Foundation and their Wings of Freedom tour. This was only tested in the Civilian version of the Mustang but should work just fine in the Military version as well. Repaint by Curt Lewis

This is a repaint for the A2A P-51D Mustang in the colors of 'Bald Eagle' that is owned and operated by Jim Beasley and is very active on the airshow circuit as part of the USAF Heritage Flight program as well as The Horsemen demo team. This was only tested in the Civilian version of the Mustang but should work just fine in the Military version as well. Repaint by Curt Lewis
