Cairo International Airport HECA Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This single-layer AFCAD file, named HECABB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Cairo International Airport in Cairo, Egypt. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is HECA and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-2, Medium-3, Small-7, Express-0, GA-7. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file HECABB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

GERMANY 2004 SRTM MESH SCENERY

File Description:
Based on SRTM 3 arc.sec data. Unfortunately SRTM DATA have many holes and data loss, so I made a resampling and an oversampling with other data with lower resolution, but with better coverege (like data from swiss topographic federal istitute or from italian IGM, and finally with DTED Level 0.) with geo cad software like Grass and GlobalMapper for projection convertion. Compression and conversion to bgl with MS Flight simulator SDK at LOD 9 This scenery cover the entire Germany teritory, the part of Swiss and Austria territories not included in my Italian scenery. Parts of Belgium and Netherlands and Luxembourg are included too (Till E005); next quite the whole territory of Czech Republic and part of Poland till E017.

METAR Update Of The METAR Weather Program

File Description:
Update of the Free METAR program with new features and bug's corrected. New features: 1. I improved the temperature aloft settings. This also should give better cloud settings, esp. the cloud high is now computed out of temperature and other data. 2. No more 'weather update' messages 3. If the needed stations files not there, the program shouldn't crash anymore 4. The .reg file shouldn't be needed anymore 5. Both free METAR and WindsAloft Servers are used. To save time, the Server with the smaller files is used first. Only if this server failed the other is used. 6. The choice to get METAR text message of the nearest airport in FS9 is implemented. The message is updated every time the FS2k4METAR program updates the weather.

Avro Lancaster Panel V2.0

File Description:
This file is an updated version of my Avro Lancaster panel. Several changes have been made. Panel light switch, Nav lights switch and Landing lights switch have been added, Also added are left and right mag switches for each engine. The default DC-3 radio stack which it uses has aso been repositioned and resized as it was just too big, and of course, a few things have been moved around to match those of the real panel. This panel is optimized to run in 1024 X 768 resolution and still uses only FS9 default XML gauges, although many have been modified to suit four engines. I have included all of these "modified" gauges. Nothing else is needed, everything is included in this package.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 19

File Description:
No better way to pushback from the gate in Raleigh-Durham than with the SGA MD83 using the thrust reverser. Such an authentic feel to it! Also making the rounds is the Piper J-3 Cub for a short stroll. There is no missing the noisy SGA Boeing 737-200 as you experience your first snow shower while heading to Indiana International Airport. Nice job Microsoft on the realistic snow bounderies. Look for em while in flight. Keep on your toes as things could get hairy if you have a lapse in judgement. This was a very fun pack for me and I know you will enjoy it too! Next up is Canada and back to the USA to hop around the East Coast and New England.

In order to share the market of low cost air transportation which two airlines ( Air Asia and One-Two-Go) are in an active competition, THAI has to move a further step. Nok means bird, Nokair trys to attract customers with short out standing name and unique organization culture. Nokair initialy operate two boeing 737-400 from bangkok to 3 major destinations in Thailand (Chiangmai, Hatyai and Udornthani) with plans to increase the number of aircraft and destinations through out Thailand and more in the region. Parajumpers - Canadian Forces Search & Rescue

File Description:
These FX files allow you to drop a number of search and rescue paratroopers from the DC-3, JU-52, DeHaviland Otter, and the C-130. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. Lighthouse and Beams

File Description:
The lighthouse-plain.api is the one used in the Grand Lake O12 scenery project. It has a rotating beacon light & lamp. EOD source included. I darkened the lighthouse sides texture from the one shown here. All are re-scaleable without having to redo the EOD. Feel free to modify it. Beams API set so ya can agl altitude position them inside or over top of other api/objects. There's two kinds; 3 feet wide and 6 feet wide. These range in length of 100 yards (299 feet) to 5200 feet long. They all have a lamp and both beam & lamp rotate horizontal. They all just use the beam.bmp and the beam_LM.bmp Beam_LM.bmp is the only visable texture in the sim. The beam.bmp is the dummy.

File Description:
AFCADv2 (FS2004) for EGLL London Heathrow, 2005, Default scenery, as per AIS document (Dec 04). Changes from Default version:---Most gates assigned, taxiways renamed as per AIS document (Dec 04). Taxiways A and B re-aligned to prevent aircraft hitting buildings as was the case before with the default AFCAD. Terminal 3, pier 6 changes added too. New Terminal 5 parking spaces added (10 spaces) and ramp areas as per AIS document (Dec 04). Closed taxiways addded to tidy up taxiway lighting. RWY 09L/27R for Landing, 09R/27L for takeoff. FDE PSS A320 LIP v1.6 (Improved A-FLOOR protection)

File Description:
A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP v1.6 (Lift Improvement Package) by Alan Fernandes and improved A-FLOOR protection by Edson Costa. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developped with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge.
