Civilian "CS" (Competizione Sportiva=Sporting Race) versions of the known medium and torpedo bomber Savoia-Marchetti S.79 "Sparviero", deployed by Regia Aeronautica, or Italian Royal Air Force, were successfully flown (w/civil marks) in the "Istres-Damascus-Paris (Lindberg Cup)" 1937 air race, where they ranked the first three places of the final scoreboard. The also "civilian" "T" (Transatlantic) version of the very same S.79 performed exceptionally in the 1938 Atlantic crossing Roma-Dakar-Rio de Janeiro and in 1939 experimental test meant to verify the feasibility of an airline passengers and mail line between Italy and South America for the civilian airlines (Ala Littoria S.A.- Linee Aeree Atlantiche, later called L.A.T.I./Linee Aeree Transcontinentali Italiane) over the routes of Southern Atlantic Ocean.
3 new different GMax models, covering 3 different versions of the civilian S.79 described above and featuring the standard animated parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading-edge slats. Ten (10) different liveries depicting all the S.79CS team which flew the 1937 Istres-Damascus-Paris Race, the 1938 Roma-Rio de Janeiro Expedition and the 1939 Transatlantic Test flight.
This is an adapted FSX version of the original FS9 plane (also available in another separated release).VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa & Italianwings. Installation instructions included. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, April 2016.

Flightplan Visualizer (FV) version 1.9.0. Copyright 2018-2019 by Pelle F. S. Liljendal ([email protected]), all rights reserved.
FV comes with 300 Commercial-, and +380 BizJet AI pre-imported flightplans which the creators of those flightplans have gracefully allowed me to include with the installer, however you are able to import additional (AI) flightplans if you want to. Once imported these (AI) flightplans can be visualized on a map-view, and the user will be able to search accross all these. Hence you can use the program as inspiration as to which routes to fly. E.g. you can search across all imported flightplans to find all flights in an A321 flying into/out from LDDU, or simply to look for all flights in a Boeing 747-8F.
Simply run the included installer to install the software. The program will be installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flightplan Visualizer" and all datafiles will be installed into: "C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\FlightplanVisualizer". The program comes with a full manual explaining everything, and a 3 page quick manual to get you started. The first 3 times you run the program the quick manual will automatically open. Here is a new San Diego scenery package that I designed for my personal use. I have had numerous requests to do more cities and airports so this is my first free scenery for 2004. Being the lazy person I am, no research was done and no claim to real life designs are implied.
I have added many objects to the airports and cities including terminals, hangers, buildings, stadiums, balloons, city scapes and other fun and interesting things. All of which were begged, borrowed or stolen from all the wonderful designers in the X-Plane Community such as Ken Spiker, Christian Franz, Ted Davis, Robert Bunce, Tom Curtis, B. Brooks and all the others who have inspired me. Many thanks to each of you for your contributions to the X-Plane community.
Like all my scenery packages, the additions to the citys and airports are purely fictional. The airports themselves are unaltered. I have enhanced "San Diego Intl.-Lindburg Fld. (KSAN), "North Island NAS. (KNZY), Miramar MCAS (KNKX), Imperial Beach NOLF (KNRS), General Abelardo L. Rodriquez Intl. (MMTJ) and a few other near by airports. A special thanks to Ted Davis for creating the orignal San Diego scenery that led me to adding to his great work. Also, Ken Spikers new KWIKCITYS package contributed to the completion of my version of San Diego and surrounding areas. His cities really added the crowning touch. Thanks Ken. If I inadvertently left out other object designers, it was purely unintentional and I offer my apologies.
Installation: Place the extracted "San Diego" folders in your "Custom Scenery" folder.

| RAF Tholthorpe |

File Description:
RAF Tholthorpe opened in the late 1930s as a grass airfield, and operated as a sub-station of RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
From August 1940 to December 1940, Tholthorpe was a landing field for Whitley bombers of No. 58 Squadron RAF and No. 51 Squadron RAF based at Linton. From January 1941 to June 1943, Tholthorpe underwent maintenance to upgrade to Class A standards, with three intersecting concrete runways.
RAF Tholthorpe was assigned to No. 6 Group RCAF in June 1943. RCAF squadrons stationed here included No. 434 Squadron "Bluenose", 431 Squadron "Iroquois", 420 Squadron "Snowy Owl", and 425 Squadron "Alouette".
No. 434 Squadron, flying Halifax bombers, was formed and headquartered at Tholthorpe airfield from June 1943 until the squadron was moved to Croft. In July 1943, 431 Squadron moved to Tholthorpe airfield from Burn. It was later moved to Croft airfield as well. Not only were the operational squadrons quartered here, also their service echelons, - respectively Nos. 9431 and 9434 Service Echelon - which were formed from the ground crew of nos. 431 and 434 Squadron on 3 November 1943 and who moved with their squadrons on to Croft in December 1943.
In December 1943 No. 420 and No. 425 Squadrons (together with their service echelons, nos. 9420 and 9425 Service Echelon were moved to Tholthorpe airfield from Dalton and Dishforth respectively. These squadrons had returned from service with Wellingtons in North Africa, and it took them several weeks to work up on the newly acquired Halifax bombers. They were therefore unable to fly their first raids from Tholthorpe until mid-February 1944.
No. 420 Squadron flew 160 operations from Tholthorpe airfield and lost 25 Halifax’s. No. 425 squadron flew 162 operations from Tholthorpe airfield and lost 28 Halifax’s. In all, 119 Halifax bombers were lost from Tholthorpe. In April and May 1945 nos. 420 and 425 Squadron converted to Avro Lancaster’s, which they took with them when they left for RCAF Debert, Nova Scotia, Canada in June 1945.
The station closed in June 1945.

| Iles de la Madeleine CYGR in Quebec Canada |

File Description:
The Iles de la Madeleine are a group of spit islands linked by bridges in the Gulf of St Lawrence. They are east of New Brunswick, north of Cape Breton Island, west of the Island of Newfoundland, and south of the mainland coast of Quebec. On a southwest to northeast axis they are 40 miles in length and the airport CYGR is pretty much at the midpoint of the southern line of islands. Take a look at the overhead from FS9 to see what I mean. CYGR has two runways, one is aligned 08-26 and is just under 4,400 feet long and 150 feet wide with lighting and PAPI at both ends. The second is aligned 16-34 and is 3,600 feet long and 150 feet wide, without lights or PAPI. Both are asphalt. The apron is not huge, and a newish (in 2010) hangar was built with separate access to the 16-34 runway. There are daily flights by Air Canada and Pascan Aviation included in the AI. The AI also includes some boats and a ferry, and I first used these with my Dutch Harbor scenery, so if you have that already.... This scenery also includes Cindy Hook, a small boat harbour just 2 miles southwest of the airport, and the larger harbour at Cap aux Meules a further 3 miles away that accommodates the daily ferry trips, along with fishing boats etc. Also included here is a further addition to the Homer PAHO scenery in the shape of a boat that is included in the Homer Spit harbour. Just add the contents of the scenery folder to the Homer scenery folder of your Homer installation, and the texture folder contents to the Homer texture folder. December 5th 1945: The war in the Pacific made the topography of the Bahamas with its unlimited landmarks, ideal for advanced over water navigation exercises. Like all others training daily out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Flight 19 was to perform a fairly simple navigation problem. At 14:10 that afternoon 5 Avenger Torpedo Bombers departed the Station and never made it back. File includes aircraft (CFS2 default AI Avenger converted for Fs2002 and packaged to fit the flight), flight weather(local-global) based on descriptions and map of navigation problem No1 available to pilot at all times from panel via SWIFT+3. The CIA has reliable intelligence info on the exact whereabouts of Saddam Hussein. Believing (we hope correctly) that a lone DC-3 hedge-hopping (well, SAND-hopping) across the desert at low altitude can sneak its way into Baghdad, the agency has commissioned Val-U-Prop to perform a GPS guided bomb attack on the dictator. To maintain radio silence this is a GPS only flight. FS98 and FS2000 users may use ACS-GPS: FS2002 users can just drop the folder into "myflts" and it will pop up in flight planner. This is WAR folks. And Val-U-Prop must do its part! By James Underwood
