These textures are made available with the permission of Bill Rambow, and the use of texture templates by Mark Beaumont. Braniff began opperation in 1928 in Oklahoma...by 1940 they opperated a fleet of 5 Douglas DC-2, and 10 DC-3s. Unfortunately with the start of World War II the fleet of DC-3s were taken over by the military, for war use.

The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the first in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 1 variety with fixed undercarriage. This is G-ANXB - named Sir James Simpson, which served British European Airways for many years serving the Scottish islands and regularly used to land on the beach at Barra. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip. | De Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter (VH-EAZ) Qantas |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Milviz DHC-3 Otter. It shows VH-EAZ of Qantas. Built in 1958 with c/n 258, it was shipped to Australia and became VH-EAZ 'Kerowagi', and started flying in Papua New Guinea. In 1960, it was sold to Trans Australian Airlines (TAA), where it was reregistered to VH-SBT. In 1968, it went to Air West in Canada, where it became first CF-XRI and later C-FXRI. In 1987 it was bought by Osprey Wings, where it is still current as a Turbo Otter. I have included material for the wheeled and amphibian versions. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.

File Description:
Royal Air Cambodge was about halfway through it's life in 1998, having started in 1994 and closed in 2001. The airline was flying a pair of 737-400s to several of the major Asian port cities within 2-3 hours flying time, while the 3 ATR-72s did domestic flying and served the nearby Asian nations. Though I can not find record of more than 3 ATRs, but the flight schedule calls for 5 aircraft. There are quite a few flights that were unable to be covered by the 3 ATRs, so I wonder if some were leased at the time, but I am unable to confirm this. The planes are segregated, but again they do represent a decent portion of the flights. Links to the OSP ATR-72 and FAIB 737-400 repaints are included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | Northern Oman SRTM mesh |

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery covers northern of Oman emirate as well as some parts of United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaima, Fujiarah...). The southern and western boundaries are approx 22°N / 54°E.
No part of Iran has been included.
Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m) and sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m) using Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04". While only tested with Fs2004, this mesh should also run with FS2002.
SRTM 3 arcsec dataset has numerous void areas in this part of the world. But thanks to John Child's beautiful and powerful "Blackart" utility it's now easy to patch these areas with lower resolution dataset: I took the coupled interpolation method to merge SRTM 3-arcsec with SRTM 30-arcsec dataset when needed. This gives the best results, as patched areas with 30-arcsec data are blending naturally with surrounding 3-arcsec mesh. Of course the resolution of patched areas is quite poor, but still a bit better than the default LOD5 mesh.
