File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 3. This scenery consists of 1. EIKY Kerry International Airport, 2. EIBN Bantry Airfield, 3. EIBR Birr Airfield, and 4. Clonbullogue Airfield.
Kerry is situated in the South West of Ireland and serves as a gateway to the world famous Lakes of Killarney, The Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Bantry is ideal for visiting the rugged beauty of West Cork. Clonbullogue is home to the Irish Parachute Club and is situated approximately 30 miles southwest of EIDW Dublin. Birr is almost in the centre of Ireland and is home to a very active group of GA aviators.
The scenery has been created almost entirely from real photographs and all objects have been placed accurately using ordinance survey data and satellite imagery. It also includes animated marshallers, aircrew and passengers together with animated animals and vehicles. Appropriate sound effects have been added to each file together with smoke and strobe lighting. Full night lighting is included, with flood and wash lighting of the aprons and carparks. Each airport has been sub-divided into seperate elements, which can be switched on or off according to the users preference and hardware setup. It caters for GA enthuasiasts and for those who prefer to fly the heavies.
This scenery has not been designed as a standalone, it calls on many objects from my Ireland VFR Small Airports parts 1 and 2. It has also been designed to complement photographic scenery but will also work with the default terrain and I have inlcuded a set of landclass and photoreal textures. It also includes an extended set of photoscenery treescapes. Full installation instructions, settings, credits and tips can be found in the README file.
Please enjoy and I hope you like my airports as much as I enjoyed making them.

File Description:
This aircraft is the advanced upgrade from previous versions, and there are no more upgrades scheduled for the future. The paint is fictional, but illustrates what would be used for Charter flights by some airlines. Even in that case, I tried to make it as real as possible, as you will see. All authors credited other than myself are not involved with any of the engine or aerodynamic or detailed corrections. I even enhanced the parking data, callsign used, lighting effects, gear, MOI, weight & ballance, flaps and smoke for realism. There are no known issues with this model as it stands, and it is now possible to easily achieve FL510 and cruise over 8,000 nm, even with 16X simulation speed activated using auto-pilot. This perfection is based on real world aero/engine dynamic data and formulas employed within the aircraft.cfg and .air files. Flight Tuning is no longer used in this model. There is no other FSX Gulfstream G-550 available anywhere (Free or Payware) that includes all of this realism, and if there is in the future, it was copied from this data. Don't be fooled. I don't expect any world-wide awards or the "Nobel FS Prize" for any of this, but your comments related to the results will be appreciated, and acknowledged. Please understand that this work required many hours of study and testing, and is offered free for Educational Purposes primarily. The results illustrate the realism of the G-550 in almost every aspect imaginable, which is possible with all FSX aircraft when you know how and what is needed. | P-51D Mustang "Frenesi" (N357FG) |

Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware Warbirdsim P-51D "Mustang Tales" product. This repaint depicts the latest Mustang restoration to emerge from Midwest Aero Restorations, completely stock, which just had its first test flight from Danville, Illinois on January 30th. The aircraft is F-6K 44-12852 (restored as a P-51D), owned/operated by Dan Friedkin/Comanche Fighters, based in Texas. Sold surplus immediately following WWII, registered as NX66111, the aircraft was entered into the 1946 Cleveland Air Races as racer #80 "Full House", but its engine blew and was forced to crash-land. Later, the aircraft was sold to Jack Hardwick in the early 50's and crudely rebuilt, with a jump seat and rudimentary dual controls installed in the back of the cockpit, and would soon be sold onto the Dominican Air Force in 1954, becoming FAD 1900 (#2). The aircraft served with the Dominican AF until it was sold and imported back into the US by Brian O'Farrell in 1984. Made serviceable, the aircraft flew again on the US register as N21023 by 1990, and was sold to Jim Beasley Sr. and later owned/operated by Jim Beasley Jr., of Coatesville, PA (sharing hangar space with their P-51D "Bald Eagle"). During this time the aircraft was painted as "Frenesi", the personal mount of WWII 357th Fighter Group ace Gen. Tommy Hayes (the name inspired from a 1940 Artie Shaw tune). By the early 2000's, showing the effects of poor-quality work done on repairing/restoring the aircraft in the past, a complete rebuild of the airframe began. By 2009, the project was sold to Dan Friedkin, now registered as N357FG, and the restoration was continued at Midwest Aero Restorations, known for their award-winning authentic Mustang rebuilds. The aircraft has now emerged in early 2017, resplendent and flying again in the markings of "Frenesi".

| Hellenic Air Force Republic Aviation F-84F Thunderstreak |
|
File Description:
This is one of the first jet age aircrafts served in Hellenic Air Force, almost 50 years ago (!!!). There are three (3) repaint versions of Royal Hellenic Air Force in the zip package: The first one, represents an F-84F, as placed in front of 113rd Wing's main entrance as a "gate guard monument". The aircraft was placed there during early '90ies and the idea was captured by Brigadier General Vlachandonis who used to be the 113rd Wing's commander at that time. The second, shows an F-84F, as it was painted from 1957 to 1967. The specific aircraft used to belong to 339th Sqdr.with a white-blue-white stripe painted close to the nose as a squadron's ID mark. Additionaly, the "Mighty Mouse" official Sqdr's badge was placed on the left part of fuselage, just behind the cockpit. The thrird repaint is representing an F-84F, as it was painted from 1971, until the "retirement" on 1984. The aircraft which is presented into this "VietNam typed" repaint version used to belong to 338th Sqdr. operating from Larisa AB. This "F84F_HAF.zip" package is full compatible with FS2K2 and FS9 too and contains realistic sound made by Angelos Hatzikatakos, new panel made by Nick Karatzides, helpfull checklist and a VERY completed (as always...) flight manual (46 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. This repaint was based on the original model made by Kazunori Ito. A total NEW flight model ("air" file and aircraft.cfg file) have been created by Nick Karatzides and have been tested hard, to ensure that the aircraft flies as close as possible like a real fighter! This "F84F_HAF.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the stick and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying. The package contains new visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

| Replacement Dynamic Water Textures Version 8 |
|
File Description:
Replacement dynamic water texture-sets for FS2004 (VERSION 8). This is the full version 8. The default reflections and water colors leave a lot to be desired in FS2004. As an example; The default milky "white/green" texture is highly unrealistic in overcast conditions. The replacement textures will change this dramactically to a much more convincing and realistic "blue/grey", cast, with improved lighting and refections in respect to the sun. These replacement textures will generally give a much more realistic tone and color to the water effects in FS2004. The change is quite dramactic and transforms the flight sim experience to a much greater level of realism. Fully compatible with my earlier versions of "overcast" texture modifications. Textures included are; Clear weather; High noon, mid-sun, low sun, sun-rise and sun-set with a choice of four "overcast" tones and a choice of two sun sets Version 8 has improved sun-set and sun-rise textures which offer better colours and better transitions from daylight to dawn/dusk hours; and a small change to the reflections on the low-sun texture. As an added bonus with Version 8 you have a choice of sun sets to use. Now you can have the very bright "orange" sun sets or select one of the new "golden yellows" which offer two distinct variations. It is important to stress the default FS9 textures are fully compatible with these new textures and they can be used in any combinations and can be mixed and matched with the new textures. For example it may be that some users want to keep some of the water environment textures as they are by default but change only one or two textures. The choice is yours. As a further added bonus a voice control file has been included for "Shoot" which will control FS2004 by voice. It is brilliant and it's free.

File Description:
This is one of the first jet age aircrafts served in Royal Hellenic Air Force, almost 50 years ago (!!!). There are two repaint versions of Royal Hellenic Air Force in the zip package: The first one, represents a Royal Hellenic Air Force Canadair CL-13 Mark 2 Sabre used to fly with 342nd Sqdr. of Royal Hellenic Air Force (RHAF) in Elefsina, Greece with an interception role. The second, represents the aniversary "Alexander the Great" texture, painted in "patriotic" colours, by a gas station owner (!!!) in Thessaloniki - Greece after buying the aircraft (sn. 19294) as scrap and finaly display it as a memorial by his store. This specific aircraft used to fly with 343rd Sqdr. In Nea Anchialos, Greece. The Canadair CL-13 Mark 2 Sabre aircraft (Canadian build F-86E under North American licence) used to be one of the most succesfull aircrafts during the 50'ies and the Korean war. This "CL-13_RHAF_v1.zip" package is full compatible with FS2K2 and FS9 too and contains realistic sound made by Angelos Hatzikatakos, NEW (made by the author) panel, the official checklist and a VERY completed (as always...) flight manual (31 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. This repaint was based on the original model made by Rey Lopez . The primary panel was made by Ken Mitchell and modified by Nick Karatzides to look more realistic and closer to the Hellenic CL-13 Mk 2 cockpit. A total NEW flight model ("air" file and aircraft.cfg file) have been created by Nick Karatzides and and I test it hard, to ensure that it flies as close as possible like a real fighter! File Description:
The Boeing 787 is one of the most sophisticated aircraft ever designed, and I have worked on several FS models from even before the real aircraft was ever built. I have accumulated so much data relating to this plane that I can now incorporate real world dynamics for it based on extremely realistic information. The aircraft offered here has been modified to offer all of that realism. In the real world, the 787 is flown primarily with autopilot controls, and this model is no different. It doesn't take a lot to fly this plane, and if I were to be offered the challenge I think I'd be up and flying within a few minutes, in a real 787. Because of this, I offer no advise other than normal flight rules.
If you are new to FSX, please learn through the on-board tutorials. I am not a tutor. I do not have anything to do with cosmetics. I do not design panels. All I do is help educate you about the realism of aircraft design. You can look at the aircraft.cfg and the .air file (Airfile Editor Required) to see what I've done in comparison to the original model, but I will not really help you with tutorial related issues. If you find something you think is wrong, let me know. Otherwise, enjoy this model and fly her like the real thing.
