RAAF Base Butterworth

File Description:
This scenery is a complete remake of my FS2002 version and is now fully compatible with FS2004 and now covers RAAF Base Butterworth, Penang Town (Georgetown) and Butterworth Port. Includes Full Textures, AFCAD2 Files as well as Landclass Scenery. Airport Layout was made using Airport for Windows and AFCAD2 and is not compatible with FS2002 .

The terminal is an almost exact replica with correct gate numbers and assignments. Generic floating buildings have been replaced with custom and library objects. Includes landclass changes, roads, rework of runways, taxiways, aprons and parking, and placement of library objects . Scenery in this package is based on Virtual Earth (Bing) and Google Earth imagery.

Improved Thermals v. 1.1

File Description:
The auto-generated thermals in FSX are made more challenging and diversified by editing the ThermalDescriptions.xml. Three more classes of thermals were added and the lookup table that determines which thermals occur on each landclass type was edited. The characteristics of thermals (climb rate, ceiling, diameter) should be more realistic and challenging.
