File Description:
Sorry guys ... due to an unrecognized (by me) compatability issue between FS2002 and FS2004, a couple of the texture files should have been partially transparent. This gave a "blue curtain" effect in front of some of the covered stands which I'd taken to represent either windows or netting. Having now checked the original scenery in FS2002, I realise that this was not the case, so please replace the original texture files with these, which have an alpha channel to provide the appropriate transparency.

cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat No. 37 BuNo.08926 VF-16, USS Lexington, November 1943. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Lt(jg) Eugene R. Franks. On November 23, 1943, Franks downed five aircraft in only a matter of minutes. No kill flags were painted on his aircraft at the time, as he never flew #37 again after the five in one day kills. cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-II RAF K6K Serial #JV-316, Fleet Air Arm, 1945. This aircraft was of the 804th NAS. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note the order of placement on the aircraft code marking from one side to the other. This is not a mistake, this was how it was actually applied on this model. This A/C No. 4D, served with the 846th NAS on anti-submarine patrol, and was aboard the HMS Tracker during combat deployment in the North Atlantic campaign of 1944 (see 846th History file). This A/C No. 4M, FN908, served with the 846th NAS on anti-submarine patrols and was flown from the Macrihanish, Scotland shore base. There was another 4M, FN802 that also served with the 846th NAS. FS2004 texture only package for Airbus 300B4-622R Thai Airways International, registration "HS-TAW" named "Suranaree" in old livery with special decal "The King's 72nd Celebration" on fuselage. More panel rivets, shadow, shading, and weathering were added to the original paintkit for better result. You must have the HNAC A300B4-622R base model installed into your FS2004 aircraft file. This base model is available at http://www.hnac.org. Many thanks to Harald Nehring and Frank Weiss. Texture repainted by Sukit Sittisudjatum, Thai Flight Simulator.

FS9 textures only for the SECTIONF8 F-86E/F Sabre and requires the base F-86E/F package, sf86ef.zip, to be installed. This texture set is of "BOB'S BUGGY", F-86F 52-4437, assigned to 80th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 8th Fighter Bomber Wing, Suwon AB, S. Korea, Summer 1953. Repaint by Steve Bryant, based on Cliff Presley's texture set, F-86_52-4956.zip, and the SF8F86 Paintkit by Jan Visser. Both Cliff's and Jan's original readme are included for reference.
