File Description:
This is a popular 2-place civilian and military trainer. Its performance is between a 172 and 182. Canopy gives excellent forward visibility and high tail is designed for use on short dirt strips. This is an update of the original version, based on feedback and photographs received from several users. The VC is extensively remodeled to be closer to the real airplane, and several mistakes on the exterior have been fixed. Uses default sound and gauges.

It is 34 kilometres (21 miles) in length and up to 23 km (14 mi) in width, covering an area of 432 km2 (167 sq mi). It is situated in the western area of the North Atlantic and 100 km (62 mi) east of the Windward Islands and the Caribbean Sea;[6] therein, it is about 168 km (104 mi) east of the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and 400 km (250 mi) north-east of Trinidad and Tobago. Barbados is outside of the principal Atlantic hurricane belt. Its capital is Bridgetown. Barbados is 1,600 mi (2,600 km) Southeast of Miami.

File Description: This is an updated version (original July 2018) with some ground texture problems fixed plus a lot of added and improved objects. There are 5 airports. 3 airports near the Murray river in Victoria and NSW - YRIO Robinvale, YBRN Balranald, YDLQ Deniliquin. 2 airports in SE Victoria - YLEG Leongatha, YYRM Yarram. A few airports but this is no quicky slap dash effort but hundred+ hours. Surrounding scenery modified to match real life. Towns have been added or shifted. Forests cut down or added. Race courses, sewage treatment ponds and other stuff added. Local obstacles (towers etc) added. Included are 2 AI traffic files that covers the airports. These files are for Flight Simulator X. Made using Airport Design Editor using some objects borrowed from Robert Budd's excellent Baccus Marsh. RECOMMENDED The scenery is designed to interface with ORBX FTX_AU scenery for Australia (payware). It will work without ORBX but will not interface as well with standard scenery.

French Air Force Dassault Mirage 2000-C Update, Mike's 1000th upload to AVSIM

File Description:
This is my 1000th upload to AVSIM, and without fanfare, it is an update to correct some research errors in my original Mirage 2000 French repaints. This file fixes three major problems with my original uploads; the base colors (I have researched over a thousand photos, and this is the final pick); the placement of two seperate logos on opposite side of the tail of the same aircraft, this occurs on about half of my repaints; and the clear outlined prefix of each registration number. All of these thing have been fixed in this update. This file contains both a set of common textures, and corrected textures for the tail and nose of each of the 18 Mirage 2000 French Air Force repaints I have done so far. This file still requires the original model by Roland Laborie at http://www.favfrance.net, and all of my original texture releases. My thanks to the fans, and here's to the next thousand paints.....

Flying For Furs.....A Danger in the Mountain Gorges, Ravines, and Canyons of The Canadian West...

File Description:
Joshua Buckhorn is getting ready for his trip into the Canadian Wester Fur Route. As a trader of furs and FBO owner things up here in North Washington are hard in this year of 1949. Just 5 years ago he was flying a huge B-17 over Germany. Now a new life has brought him into the dangers on Bush Flying. As always before these flights, new oil and spark plugs must be placed in the plane, tyres must be just right and the fuel tanks got to be full to the top. It is 5:45 AM and a big breakfast is a must before the flight, eggs, grits, potatoes, ham, bacon and NO beans since the gas they produce will disrupt the fligh. And don´t forget the "P" Bottle.----I hope you know how to balance a plane with all those furs and hides you will acquire in this trip full of danger in approaches and take offs from, indeed, very dangerous fields. ( Bonus you get 4 new airports for future flights if the business pays off)..:)
