| Herb's field near highway 417 in Ontario Canada |

File Description:
Herb's field is an unlicensed grass strip near a junction and a gas station on highway 417, some twenty miles west of the Ontario/Quebec border. I saw it a while back from the air and forgot about it, then saw it again when I was driving along the highway. Couldn't miss it because of the two red and white checkerboard hangers. So here it is.

I added the fire station and fire trucks. Added static fuel trucks, helicopters, parking lots with cars and light poles. Added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons as needed. Added asphalt strips adjacent to the
concrete runways as in real life.

It is flown by Training Squadron VT-35 Stingrays of Training Air Wing 4 at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the blank textures by Carenado.

HSL-43 was established as the Navy's first operational LAMPS MK III squadron on 12 October 1984 at Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) in Coronado, CA. They fly the SH-60B in a variety of missions from the decks of Cruisers, Destroyers, and Frigates.
