Aerospatiale Concorde - Tribute Video

File Description:
It was with sadness that many of us said goodbye to Concorde on her final passenger flight in 2003. This video is a Flightsim tribute to her and the BA/Air France airline crews that flew her over the years. It was my original intention to include footage of the Air France Concorde in this video, but due to my final choice of music, it didn't seem appropriate, so I apologise to our French flightsim colleagues ! If you liked the CS707 video, you will love this one. It is a large, high-res file, but, frankly, anything less wouldn't do! The video captures all phases of flight, including real ATC footage recorded from the final Concorde flight with a farewell message from Mike Bannister. Recording, courtesy of Tony Smith. File Description:
Paints for a variety of AI models representing mercenaries, arms dealers, and smugglers operating in Africa. Includes a couple of real-world aircraft, a couple from movies, and one I made up as another option for a smaller aircraft. Included are paints for B727-100 N4610 (associated with real world mercenary op); Douglas DC8 3c-QRG (allegedly involved in weapons dealing); Antonov AN28 9Q-WLG (fictitious, but will fly anything, anywhere, anytime, no questions); Antonov An-12 5Q-CIH (Nicolas Cage movie "Lord of War") and Gippsland GA-8 Airvan 9L-LBR (Leo Dicaprio movie "Blood Diamond"). Requires the AI Aardvark Boeing 727-100; Douglas DC-8 Super 62 by Dee Waldron; Mike Cronin's Antonov AN28 for AI; Klaus Brosemann's Gippsland GA-8 Airvan and Dimitry Samborski's An-12 (AI). Raw flightplans for compilation in Traffic Tools included.

Chateau Airfield NZ22, & Chateau Hotel Village, Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand.

File Description:
Welcome to the Chateau Airfield, the home of Mountain Air. The airfield is located on the foothills of Togariro National Park's, Mount Ruapehu in the central North Island of New Zealand. This scenery includes not only the airfield, but the Chateau Hotel and Village halfway up the mountain. The scenery also features some custom buildings and signs (textures included). For those that like to arrive for their ski-ing holday in style, there is a helipad (NZ20, ficticious), right beside the Chateau Hotel, or alternatively, you can follow the road opposite the airfield, which leads directly up to the Chateau Hotel and Village. Requires some EZ Scenery Object sets (see INSTALL instructions for details). Special thanks to Mike Andrews (creator2003) for giving his kind permission to use his custom Chateau Hotel building in this scenery. *Requires some EZ Scenery Object sets.*

Consolidated PBY-5 RNZAF 6 Sqn XX-W

File Description: A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of NZ4020 XX-W of the RNZAF. Bu08435, it flew with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-W arrived in Fiji on 21 October 1943. On February 18, 1944 it took off on a dumbo rescue mission to north Buka Island and landed to rescue two crew members and pick up a dead body from the crash of B-25, and successfully returned them to Halavo. On 26 May 1945, it stalled on landing at Hobsonville and was towed to its mooring by a crash boat. The induced damage resulted in the aircraft being written off charge on 18 June 1945. Algerian Transports Package V2

File Description: This freeware AI package, produced by Miljan Korac in conjunction with Military AI Works , features the Beech 1900D, C-295M, C-130H/H-30 and IL-76/78 aircraft of the Algerian Air Force based at Boufarik Air Base (DAAK). Algeria is a user of both western and eastern technologies in its Air Force the fleet makes flights all over the world but mostly in Europe. Algeria still keeps its Air Force numbers a secret so data for this package was based on best available information but is not intended to be 100% accurate. This package also includes custom made scenery for Boufarik Air Base (DAAK) including a custom made gate guard Mig-21 model also by Miljan Korac. File Description: This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works contains everything needed to activate Brescia-Ghedi and Piacenza San Damiano italian Air Force Base in FS2004. Brescia-Ghedi hosts 6th Wing (Alfredo Fusco)��, composed by 102nd, 154th and 156th Squadrons, operating the Tornado IDS.
