| Lansdowne Monument |

File Description:
To the south-east of the White Horse, on top of Cherhill Down is the Lansdowne Monument. Erected in 1845 by the 3rd Marquis of Lansdowne to commemorate his ancestor Sir William Petty. It towers 125 feet (38 metres) above the hill and can also be seen 30 miles (48 Km) away. The hill now belongs to the National Trust. It is said that this is the highest point between London and Bristol. Lat 51 26' Lon 1 54'.

Ottengruenerheide Germany.
Updated and enhanced FSX scenery for Ottengruenerheide airfiled in the East of Germany close to the Czechian border. Not far from Hof Plauen. Apparently an excellent glider field.
Added plenty default FSX objects, 2 hangars and a tower. There is now an asphalt runway as in reality [28-10]
Static planes [of course plenty of gliders] Hardly any frame loss. Made with the free ADE scenery program by Scruffy Duck.

Re-upload. This TerraScene 2.1 Project pack covers all of global tile 197,154, including Greenville and Spartanburg, SC, adjoining the Johnson City tile on its southern border. It continues south to Anderson, SC and contains a portion of Hartwell Lake to the SW. In the NW, you have Asheville Regional Airport and the city of Asheville, NC tucked within mountainous terrain. This pack includes updated Tiger Census (2000) shapefile data, adding new water areas, new highways, and other details. All scenery data files are included: USGS data, shapefiles, and a complete custom water mask. Requires TerraScene 2.1 and Fly!II patched to v230 or later.

File Description:
Knight Inlet is a floating lodge that organises "nature experiences", ranging from close encounters with local grizzly bears to fishing. Knight Inlet is to the north of "the narrows" where the Inside Passage gets squeezed between the mainland and Vancouver Island, and there is a chart section attached with a pointer to the location. At the bottom of the chart is Campbell River floatbase, and to the west is Port Hardy. Knight Inlet initially runs east-west, and the lodge is tucked into a smaller north-south offshoot, close to where the main inlet turns north. The water runway here is in the middle of the north-south offshoot, though of course in reality the "runway" is wherever the wind dictates it to be. The names highlighted in green on the chart are float bases to be renovated and posted with working AI. The buoyed log boom next to the lodge is to keep escaped logs from drifting in and colliding with boats; float plane pilots keep their eyes peeled too. Because of large hills adjacent to the lodge the landing of the AI may or may not take place, depending on wind direction and whether or not they fly into rock before landing. Take off and departure are far more reliable, particularly if the wind is from the south. Most of the AI is from Vancouver Harbour, Harbour Air Otters and West Coast Air Beavers, plus a SeAir Beaver from Campbell River and a private Cessna from the nearby Minstrel Island. This is the second in a series of new and renovated float bases in BC (the first being Sproat Lake) and to cope with the AI demands FSAddon have authorised the inclusion here of a bunch of AI Otters and Beavers that were originally part of a payware scenery for the area. This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire IX MA408 CG of Squadron Leader Colin Grey, CO of No 322 Wing, Lentini East Airfield Sicily, August 1943. Colin Grey was the RNZAF's most succesful fighter ace, with 27.5 confirmed kills. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
